But atleast its not scripted.
Unscripted stuff can be worse than scripted stuff, I mean I'm no fan of WWE (or UFC for that matter, why can't we just be friends?) But both have their own appeal of sorts.

Fair enough but being scripted does not make something bad, being predictable does. My knowledge of wrestling is capped at John Cena prank calls and memes so I don't know how predictable it is.

Modern web/UI design is garbage, in a confluence of excessive minimalism and obnoxious flair. Unidentifiable generic icons without labels (like a star or arrow), fade effects and frivolous animations, menus or functions hidden behind an extra mouseclick for no good reason but a "cleaner" look, things that appear or disappear as you scroll the page or begin to type into a box (including "infinite scroll" web design), and nowadays the "hippest" websites use parallax-esque images or even looping animated backgrounds stitched between chunks of an article.

I use the Windows Classic theme for W7, the Classic Theme Restorer add-on for Firefox, the "Basic HTML" mode for Gmail, and the NoScript or uBlock Origin add-ons to kill anything else. But websites just seem to get worse with each passing year, including the recent auto-playing video fad that Mozilla addressed with the tab-based mute function.

I think you'll appreciate this article:

Couldn't agree more, BTW. Parallax is almost always implemented poorly. It's unfortunate that as internet and computing speeds have increased over the last 15 years, a considerable amount of designers have decided to take advantage of it by adding to the bloat.

I also hate the way new websites are designed.

I liked the old ESPN design much better than the new one. Much more crowded, but definitely easier to find what I'm looking for. Also ran a bit slower. But if I just want to siphon news stories and infinitely scroll, than the new one is better.

Even this, I'm not a footlocker person, but their mobile website sucks. The old one looks way better.

I just hate mobile websites in general, it completely lacks all of the information the normal website contains, usually.

I've lost count of the number of sites I've stopped visiting because they've redesigned it so badly.

some of my most hated changes are:

Formula1.com; It went from being simple and easy to navigate with the next race weekends schedule easy to see. Now they've made it overly complex and you have to scroll halfway down the page to see the schedule.

Autosport; They again used to be extremely simple and easy to use and had a good variety of coverage. Since their redesign though it's pretty much all F1 and stuff behind their paywall.

Kare11: This is a local news site that has an atrocious mobile site. It's extremely cumbersome and difficult to navigate. Strangely their desktop site is rather light and easy.

And just to add some positive, MotoGP's site is both modern and functional.

Oh yeah? You should see Airliners.net now. It's horrid compared to how it was in the past. Don't think I've visited the site for 2 months...

In what way?

I simply find it much cooler. Maybe not unpopular opinion here, but where I live yes. I would rather drive on those mountains for free than to pay 29 euros to drive Nordschliefe which isn' as nearly as thrilling and educational.

Now for the actual state of living in those countries, BDP, envirnomental issues and so on we could argue. So "Japan is cooler than Germany" is what I meant

Coca Cola should balance tastes to make their products desirable to me, because Coke tastes much better in some countries.
