Not to sure. I used it many times and have like 200 something cars in my stockyard, and there all fine. In fact, it was always fine from the start of 1.01 anyway.

If you wish, you can always wait for an update to fix whatever problem is deleting cars just in case.

Really? Well I haven't put any custom wheels in my MR cars, but I do know the Ferrari FXX slides a lot.

The stockyard problem is really a new problem and not one carried over from GT5 (any word on whether it's been fixed yet btw?)

The other things are valid points though. You'd think that they would have worked on fixing them but I guess not.

Edit: The only thing I will say is that PD seem to be more proactive in fixing bugs this time around. So there is hope at least.

Stockyard problem is subjective - the game "deleted" car(s) it shouldn't.. just like gifting a car to a friend deleted car(s) when GT5 first came out..

I was expecting a huge update. All we got is 2 seasonals and an update for a car interior? And they changed date of the vettel x challenge to January 2014 from January 1st 2014. Already golded the 2 seasonals. Only 99mb update?

I have some cars on stockyard since vanilla version ( no updates ) and they are still there, I updated 1.03 with no issue, haven't got any triple beep or freezes. Running PS3 Slim.

Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

So to add to the list of what was changed in the update. The redbull x2014 Jr must be selected to race in a certain category in online mode, however there is no category that I could find or come up with to allow it to actually enter the track.

In essence, you can't drive the redbull junior online anymore

Hit circle to cancel the update.

Got into the game (v1.02)

Hit start then went down to settings on the right. Network settings at the bottom. Cleared my cache (deleted)

Back to home screen. It asked me to update (99mb). It was successful.

I disconnected my DFGT and now it's finally downloading. If you have a wheel, disconnect it and give that a try.

No wheel plugged in, but I do have a usb ext cable plugged in

I updated from inside the game Start the game without signing in, then go to notification, sign in when it asked you, then download update starts and installed with no issue.

* every time someone makes a pit stop you get a lag spike which makes long online races impossble
* once a pit stop has been made the tyre wear and grip level can be wrong
* 0 ABS Brakes have been broken since patch 1.02, most race cars are unusable with ABS 0
* Bathurst is buggy as hell

and so on and so on .....

Am I really the only one that is far more interested in fixing what is broken so we have a solid base for future updates rather than piling more pressure on a broken foundation ???

PD's priorities are completely messed up

They fix the custom wheel bug which can be side stepped by not changing the rims but leave all the game killing bugs alone.

I imagine that they have different teams working on adding new things and fixing bugs. So they can probably do both.

Deleted the game data file, and that seemed to work, DL 1255mb worth of patches

I don't understand how so many people have problems downloading updates, I've never had a problem on any game ever.

My download speed at my ps3 is 4 meg.

Anyone who have shutdown downloading update 1.03, please try to do it from inside the game first, launch the game without signing in, then access notification, when it asked to sign in, do so and it will download the update. I have no issue when downloading the update ( I did it from inside the game ).

Procedures to avoid this issue:
You can avoid the issue by pressing [OK] quickly in the first screen. When “A new update is available” is displayed, select [OK] quickly, within 2 seconds from when it is displayed. This will update the game properly.

If over 2 seconds have passed, select [Cancel], and select [Return] in the following Sign-In screen. After the game starts, exit the game using the PS button while in the [My Home] screen, and try the procedure described above.

I remember when this thread was about v1.03.

In fact, I remember when this thread was briefly not about v1.03 but about complaining about how "unfinished" GT6 was, until a member of staff stepped in and redirected it to being about v1.03 again.

Apparently this is a memory I share with very few people.


Edit: Five entire pages of utter dren cleaned up. There will be no repeat of this.

Just in, there are new rain effects on the windsheild, the drops actually show a trail now from the direction of the wipers, unlike before, looks really good now

Driving in the rain now looks so much nicer, also noticed the water drops are dynamic in size depending on your speed.
