Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

Well... yeah. Why wouldn't there be?
I was figuring such when looking at the screenshot.

I'm guessing that we can only make courses ranging from short to moderate length, not being able to make a course as long as something like Sierra. But then again, it does say that one of the themes will be Spain, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Because you know

I like to do things in the actual...

...game

Dude chill, I meant I'm surprised at the amount of people who apparently don't have tablets or Phones. I get it that you are upset, but calm down.

I don't get the app hate. The ps3 gamepad is the last thing I'd want to use to design tracks with. Being able to drag track segments around with your fingers seem much more user friendly.

Not having either an android device or an iOS device in this day and age is... well, unusual, at least among the regular gamer demographic.

But Jordan said that it won't be available on iPhones either, so that really cuts down the user base. I don't think the outrage would have been this bad if it had been available for smartphones and tablets.

I'm amazed at the outrage solely focused by people who don't have a Tablet or Smart Phone.

Seems reasonable to me. They paid hundreds of dollars for a PS3 to play the game already, only to find out 22 months later that it may not have been enough.

Which was my first reaction too, but I'm assuming that it's possible to do it in-game as well. They couldn't possibly be that dumb. The only advantage a phone/tablet has over a PS3 is the touchscreen interface, and that's not that much of an advantage really.

If that's the logic then why even bother making the game DS3 compatible? Because not everybody can afford a 130$ racing wheel? Well not everybody can afford a 100$ phone/tablet, either.
You're right, not everybody can afford a 100 dollar phone/tablet. Even so, I think you'll find that the amount of GT6 players that have a smartphone outnumber the amount of GT6 players that have a racing wheel by several orders of magnitude.

This is because a smartphone/tablet is a multi-purpose device that fills several roles in many people's daily lives, while a racing wheel is basically the complete opposite of this.

I think it's a huge advantage, the DS3 would be a gaudy control system for this.

You'd think with the needs of the average consumer these days, a smart phone would be a requirement just to do anything. Heck, I finally switched over to one a couple months ago, it makes life MUCH easier. I'm all for the course maker being smartphone friendly, it'd take a lot longer using the DS3 if you ask me.

but the app wont work on smartphones. thats the reason everyones mad as hell that they waited two years for an app that doesnt support their phones.

Yeah, I mean you can't find many without a smartphone, but I'd think at least they'd optimize it for an iPhone and make an in game feature for it, since it's only for iPads on the Apple side.

Also Famine, don't merge. We're two different people lol

Where does it say that there won't be an iphone version, or that there won't be an ingame interface?

The apps are just released. There will probably be version updates to them.
