Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

I'm either not understanding here or this is just GT5's course make but with curbs and an app?

wait: it's only for Tablets not phones?

Where does it say that there won't be an iphone version, or that there won't be an ingame interface?

The apps are just released. There will probably be version updates to them.
Jordan said the apple variant is iPad only and doesnt know about what PD decided for the play store.

I'm glad we are finally getting the course maker but if you really need a tablet or smartphone to use it I feel a bit ripped off. If it was advertised as integrating with your smartphone or tablet sure, fine. I would have considered that when making the purchase.

Only available for the iPad on the apple side, Unconfirmed for the Android side.

Why would PD only support the app for iPad's on the Apple side of things?

I'm pretty sure the 6 and 6+ are big enough to make it easy to use the app...

When the course maker is released that's it for GT6 so they can announce GT7 at the Paris Games Week or Playstation Experience :) Heard it here first.

Oh, with Playstation VR Support..

I don't get the app hate. The ps3 gamepad is the last thing I'd want to use to design tracks with. Being able to drag track segments around with your fingers seem much more user friendly.

Not having either an android device or an iOS device in this day and age is... well, unusual, at least among the regular gamer demographic.

Where did you read smartphones and iPhones will work with this?

Memory limitations? Mind you iOS is a lot more strict when it comes to resource allocation.

I have an older smaller android tablet, sure hope it's "compatible". Again I wish they mentioned this in the original advertising.

I never specifically said iphones. I don't share the opinion that it will most likely not work on android phones when it does work on android tablets. As they said, the lines are blurred. even if there isn't official support for android phones, I wouldn't rule out some sort of workaround.

They most likely had no idea that there would even be an app back then.

Now, I know that course maker has been highly anticipated, and that most of you are disappointed that it hadn't come out sooner, but please know that there might possibly be bugs and some glitches while making courses. It's expected and just because it's taken a while to come out, it doesn't mean it's going to release perfectly.

Eh, I'm certainly hoping it's glitch free, or very nearly so. Two years is the development period of some entire games, and this was apparently in a hands-on beta status over a year ago.
