Honestly, I’m pretty satisfied with this update.

It’s cool that we’re getting the P1 GTR aswell. IMO I much prefer it to the standard road version.

About the track, it looks pretty nice, gives me PGR vibes. I do hope PD steps their track game up soon though and gives us an iconic original track (like Deep Forest) or a famous race track (Spa).

Yeah, we haven't had any famous race tracks recently.
Well, apart from Fuji in August, Red Bull Ring in September and Catalunya in November.
But apart from those three, we've hardly seen a famous race track this year.
Oh and Monza.
And Tsukuba.
And Circuit de la Sarthe.

You will probably be looking forever as these people were part of the events that took place and certainly not ruin their reputation or chances of participating into other events by leaking out planned updates or contents for next year or whatever it is that they know about.

Point isn't that we want them to tell us, we don't because we know they can't. Point is that there is *something* going on. @mclarenLB made a comment elsewhere about "squealing out loud" when he saw something.
Unless it's something already revealed (A car or the new Tokyo track), that suggests something good is coming ?
And no, I don't want to know what it is, just that it's coming...

Here is where he said that and not long after a user asked if it was the P1 GTR and two post after he replied again with a "Yeah the mclaren is sick, there is some other spicy stuff too!".
The P1 GTR, FUGU Z , M3 E92, C2 corvette and the F50 were all revealed the only two cars that were left was the Tesla Model S and the Trans Am.

Perhaps there is some other feature that he saw in the build or just refering at the P1 GTR making him scream YES!

There have been a couple of comments on this forum from people who were at the live finals and have heard or seen something but are bound to secrecy. Basically PD have something planned, and are very busy. And that is as far as the rumblings go. It could be literally anything, but I'm hoping for a raft of new cars for FIA racing.
Yes, these comments were about all the cars we can see in the teaser and nothing more.

Well good to see a date so roll on next Wednesday for the update.

My hope is I get something from the DLC early on with the prize wheel, so far the prize wheel has not been kind during November as not had any of this
month's cars for free yet... :indiff:

I'm honestly not interested in more Tokyo Expressway layouts when there's still no remaster for R246. That's not to say the new Expressway layout won't have anything to offer.

As for the cars, the F50 and M3 are nice additions. I guess the P1 GTR plays it safe in terms of community-wide appeal. The rest I wouldn't prioritize compared to what's still missing.
I have no interest in Tokyo either.

Anyone wanna take a guess at the prices?

I'm definitely buying the F50 right out the door, so I hope my 3 millions can cover it.

Then I'll do the Circuit Experience on Catalunya and see what the car roulette gives me...I might get lucky and get the P1

McLaren P1 GTR: 2 Million
Ferrari F50: 1 Million

...On second thoughts, i might do the circuit experience first.
That is quite possible. I've gotten Two DB11s, the '06 Viper, 22B, 919 hybrid, Abarth 500, Pantera, Mach I, RB Jr, RC F GT500, GT-R NISMO, XANAVI GT500, '16 Clio, Supra R, R33, FD RX-7, Type-I Beetle, Atenza XD. The newer cars are the shock, because I got them from the "older" Circuit Experiences.

I did not know this "trick". Cool!

The new game update will be published after the World Finals on 5th of December.
It's going to include:

NEW TRACKS
A new variation of Tokyo Expressway called "South Inner Loop" will be added into the game, with its alternative loop, called "South Outer Loop" respectively.

Its total length is around 6 kilometres (6,300 - 6,560)

NEW CARS

Yesterday, Kaz uploaded an image on Twitter showing 7 new cars, including:
Pontiac Trans-Am '78
BMW M3 (E92) '07
McLaren P1 GTR '16
GReddy FuguZ
(under Gran Turismo brand)
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible C2
Ferrari F50 '95
Tesla Model S '12
(unconfirmed)

Imma buy the Model S first... I’m gonna buy 2. One with the 15th Anniversary Livery and one in Blue and Black stock rims. It’s probably going to be 92k like in GT6 or it might be a little more. No more than 100k. The P1 GTR is obviously going to be the most expensive around 1-2 million credits. The F50 around 500-800k. The rest I don’t know.

The C2 is not a convertible. It's a split window hardtop.

Yeah, thing is, I doubt many will start a new game. Can't change all the liveries created. For me, that's a small price to pay. As it's easy to earn 5mil Cr. just by completing sections of the course and a hot lap. Plus, you get some recently added cars for free, than having to grind or hope they turn up in the Daily.

Add doing the Mission races, and Racing School, prize cars quickly fill one's garage.

The Firebird Trans-Am in GT6 cost 30,000 credits and the 1963 Corvette cost 84,890 credits. The prices in GTS may be the same this time around but the two cars may also be in a another senerio similar to how both of the Shelby Cobras (427 and Daytona) heavily increased in price. The 1978 Trans Am's value has been skyrocketing the past year. And now that Burt Reynolds has past, people now pay as much as $70,000 for one in real life.

The '63 Corvette's price most likely will jump also. I think it will cost around 100-250k credits in GTS based on real life prices and values.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it's less than the Alpine and 2000GT.

I’m calling around 650,000. It seems that PD uses the base MSRP on cars built after 1980. MSRP in 1995 was 620,000 USD.
