It's not.

You can buy the cars with in game credit or real cash. Your choice.

Plus in addition using real money on buying cars in the game are limited to only cars that cost 2 million or less in the game so because of that, the 20 million cars, Red Bull X2014 Standard, Ford GT40 Mk.I, etc. you can't buy those with MTX.

Yeah I know, I was being ironic because the poster I quoted was using MTX as an argument, making it look like there is content you can only buy with MTX.

Ah fair enough. Misunderstood your post there.

Anywho I'm able to grind to about 5 million credits. Hopefully that's enough to buy the P1 GTR, F50, and FuguZ.

Looks like I'll have to postpone my F50 and FuguZ purchases for a week or so, still busy grinding for my 330P, I'm at 16,000,000 right now, with Champions League match tonight and (personal) volleybal competition friday that's 2 nights of no GTS this week, there's no F1 for the remainder of this year, but then again, there's the F1-2018 purchase of last saturday. Man, I think the F50 will be in my garage sometime next year :-(

Can't wait to see if my Group Nc Class Mini '65 racer, is quicker than the T/A around DT Gardens. ;)

I hope Polyphony Digital will bringe more options to change the wheel/pedal settings. Dead zones, linearity, sensitivity etc., all the things we know from e.g. F1 2018. I noticed it in F1 2018 that I don't push the brake pedal with my left food hard enough, so I changed the sensitivity for it and now I have 100% brake intensitiy when the brake pedal is just at half. It would make things far easier for me in GT:S, especially when I use cars with manual transmission. Then I have to use my right foot to brake and this feels strange cause I usually use my left foot to break (at least in video games, not in reality).

Just by watching this makes me more excited to drive the FuguZ.

I plan to buy two of those when the update drops. One I'm keeping it stock and the other I'll tune it up to a car designed for cruising with high powered cars in lobbies and such plus I'll make a livery for it too.

Dude, once you have the 330P and enter it into the Nostalgic La Sarthe race and win a few times, you will have credits for the F50 and Fugu Z in no time. Save for the extra 4 million to reach 20 and you be able to kill 2 birds (or in this case to acquire 3 cars) with 1 stone. You are on the right track with the 330P, as it is the best tool for the job.

Ah yes I saw this. So this is where that Datsun is from. Took PD quite some time to include it in GT after it won Sema in 2015.
Jesus........

Yeah this or Blue Moon Bay race, but i prefer the the Nostalgic cup race, is more fun. 1 hour 2 million

If I were to take a random, pot-shot guess at the 986hp, 1,440kg, Gr.X McLaren P1 GTR, I'd say it would be somewhere near the region of 3,600,000cr. Assuming it's even in the update, of course.

Dang. Weekend grind again.

Jay Leno is a true geniune car guy! He isn't biased twards a certian group of cars. He has a passion for anything on wheels no matter where and when it was made from.

I wonder if Ferrari F50 could be better than 288 GTO my favourite Ferrari in the game at the moment.

That would be great but these parameters cannot be changed with the current game. It would be too hard to implement.

Yep, I know it's the right car for the Job, tried the BMB grind yesterday but couldn't get the XBow to behave for a relaxing drive, so went with the Porsche GT3, also gave a nice handicap + clean race bonus, but after that I changed back to the Gr.1 Maggiore race, only 2.5 minutes longer and a little bit more cash, but the fun factor is so much better, I hate ovals and am really getting bored during races on BMB.
Might as wel have some fun during grinding. Plus the Maggiore Gr.1 race is not that hard to complete with a clean race bonus.

I am at Cr15m+ so am all ready for v1.31. Just looking forward to trying the new cars now. As always, any new circuit will first be visited by my Toyota TS050-Hybrid.

@SjefGielen I agree about the BMB, for which I use the Ford GT40 MkI, race being boring and I use the Maggiore and Fuji races for grinding too. Far more enjoyable!

Try the HammerStudioGaming X-Bow setup with Racing Intermediate at the front and Racing Super Soft at the back. It's super relaxed, the handling reminded me of running the Test Course in Gran Turismo 2.
Yesterday was the first time ever for me to try the BMB grind as well and although I haven't yet managed to get a clean race bonus due to occasional scratching of the wall, it gets you good credits. Looking forward to the new patch and hopefully I have the 6 mil I need to buy everything :)

Can't Wait for this update. One week to go. I am so far behind their will be 5 new tracks and 40 new cars for me to explore. Gonna need around 40-50 million for the cars. The f50 will be so intresting to try out. But i guess i can do the 5 circuit experince to win some of them.
And My last licence if i am lucky. Need to grind a lot for the milage points to be able to upgrade some cars and buy some new wheels

I expect it to be, right now the 288 GTO is also my favorite Ferrari, in fact, it's one of my favorite cars in the game period. However, doing the midship races yesterday evening with the 258 was also big fun. Looking at the specs and differences in car development in the time both cars were build the F50 should outperform the GTO, if it will be as much fun driving it I don't know (yet).

Maintenance notice for 1.31 is up!
