Famine appears to be indicating 1.9m Cr. for the F50

He said it MIGHT be around 1.9M. I’m just guessing, as is everyone else here, based on comparing google searching prices and comparing them to prices in BC. Diablo GT was 300k retail and is also 300k in GT. McLaren F1 was famously 1M USD as well as 1M in GT. Just to name a couple of examples.

So I did.

Not... everyone, exactly...

I'm just gonna open a conspiracy theory about Tesla's return to GT by throwing in the old concept art for it's VGT.

We haven't heard anything in a while of the project, maybe the return of Tesla will have something to do with that.

Maybe. Maybe not.

That 511hp, 1,230kg, N500 Ferrari F50 might come in at around 1,900,000cr.
That's far too much for a car that is slower than the F40. I suppose the P1 GTR will be better value.

As much as a car you can't use anywhere but against itself goes will be worth.

It wont make sense to have a price for the F50 at 1.9 mil Cr when you compare to other cars.

F40 costs 400.000Cr and Enzo costs 1.000.000 Cr. Realistically the F50 should costs arround 750.000 to 800.000 Cr. Why do they think F50 worth almost twice as an Enzo and five times as a F40?

Man! I really need to play GT-Sport more. I’m falling behind on the cars. I can’t afford them now. The 288 GTO ended up way more than I thought it would be. I wonder how much the F50 will be. Any suggestions on how to make a lot of money fast in the game? I could use the help. Lol

Hope this is real. The F50 is the only Ferrari halo car missing since the 288 GTO arrived last dlc, and it has always been my favorite. Best sounding Ferrari road car. Looks wise, the front may be off and the rear a bit plain, but that curvaceous side view, with that high rear wing intergrated into the body work has always been very appealing to me .

Loved taking photos of it in Driveclub.

GT Sport's superior camera options should provide some great shots and I will have hours of fun on the livery editor with it.

That 4.7 liter V12 had 5 valves per cylinder. That was amazing! Driveclub was also an amazing game visually. The only thing I’d change about is the car sounds don’t sound very authentic. Especially the Ferraris, not as good as other games in my opinion. I also don’t like that there aren’t real tracks in the game. But other than those things great game. Great picture of that F50 too.

If I were to take a random, pot-shot guess at the 986hp, 1,440kg, Gr.X McLaren P1 GTR, I'd say it would be somewhere near the region of 3,600,000cr. Assuming it's even in the update, of course.
Yes i also have the p1 gtr costing in the 3.5 million range :) anything less and its a steal :D

Each update, there should be "the most bang for your Cr comparison".
Meaning: Which car in each update, can be tuned, used in most GT League races, is FIA compliant(having safety equipment for track racing; roll cage, etc.). Do this til the end of this year and then, test all the best cars to crown the overall best bang for your Cr 2018.

Would be cool.

Well it is a good thing you quoted me as I posted this a few days earlier on this thread about earning easy credits, especially if you do not have a 20,000,000 priced car to enter into the Nostalgic 1979 race at La Sarthe, which are otherwise your best bet.
Probably just up to 1.8 million each for P1 GTR the and the F50 at the most, if that, going by prices of other similar cars already in the game. Just run a race at N300 class on Blue Moon Bay Premium Sports Lounge once per day, at approximately only 12 minutes, for a reward of 250,000 for coming in first place and a clean race and you will be there in no time. And it will fulfill your requirements for thedaily rewards. Sell any duplicates that you might have paid for with credits and you will also have plenty of mileage points amassed for you to use on them. 250,000 cr x 13 (days of November left) = 3,250,000 cr total, on top of your 2 million sounds good enough.

The tracks were the weakest aspect of Driveclub for me. Would have loved to raced at tracks like Imola or Spa with it's sense of speed and rain effects to highten the experience. There is still a place for me for games like PGR and DC, when it comes to just having fun without the fuss of realism or having to use a wheel to get a lot more out of them. NFS just doesn't cut it for me. May those games series and their studios rest in peace.

So my question now is: Christmas update, do you guys think it will happen? We're gonna have an early December update, which is not exactly Christmas time, so who knows...

Or it could be updates average release date has changed to the first week of each month, instead of the last week of the month, since both the November and December updates have appeared at that time. Which means only a few days after Christmas for the next update, if we don't get one then. Who knows? But this car pack will definitely tide me over the most since the May Le Man's themed update, which convinced me to buy GT Sport on the day the patch was released. The F50 is one of my all-time favourite cars. The P1 GTR is one of the ultimate track cars. The Stingray C2, with the split rear window, is the most beautiful American car ever, in my opinion. The E92 has the best engine of all M3's. And the 240Z reminds me of my late Uncle and Auntie's "His and Her's" pair of 260Z's, from years back. So I am more than happy till then.

It will depends on the content of the next update. If we have new Scapes with Christmas motifs, so yes, it will be the Christmas update. (but it's just a crazy thought...)

It's crazy but it actually makes a little sense, since we all know they care a lot about new Scapes angles and environments.

You keep naming these amazing classics I still own. I loved the PGR Series as well. Drifting corners, passing opposing cars while hearing the kudos rack up. The first PGR game was for me the best looking racing game at the time other than Gran Turismo. The damage looked good as well. The second one was probably the one I liked the least out of all 4. 3 and 4 made up for it though. I wouldn’t mind games like PGR and DC as well. I like sim racers but a real enough arcade racer I can use in my life as well. So I agree again. Yeah the Driveclub tracks were weak. But still a good game I love and own.

You know my mind was blown when I saw the price tag on the 288 GTO. It was way more than I expected. I thought the 288 would be the cheapest after the F50 in today’s Ferrari market. But I know it fluctuates frequently though.

Granted these numbers are arbitrary but I suppose you might look at how many of these cars were made...

The 288 was less than 300, the F50 was 399 (I think as typical of most of the super cars like the Enzo)... the F40 was 1,3-1,400??

The way it goes on the billionaires market is the less numbers the more it costs.

I also feel like PD wants their free DLC cars to cost you more just to make you feel like they are worth the grind.

PD doesn't ignore the community. Look at all the cars they've brought out for the past year (especially when they are outsourcing) and the tracks. I do think they are listening to an extent.

True, most of the cars are GT6 premiums, but at least they are super premiums now, of which these cars can be ported to the next instalment and future next gen consoles.

As for the thought of PD failing to deliver, its not exactly their fault and here's why (this is not a history lesson btw)... PD made 600+ cars for GT2 that included the least polygons.

By the time the Ps2 came out, they couldn't port them over so they had to start each car again from scratch by increasing the polygon count. This is where they fallen behind because of the transition of game engines. Same with the PS3 generation. Now that they are outsourcing, they are trying to catch up.

The rain could be included if they really could, but as static weather, not dynamic. And finally the fictional tracks... they really shouldn't goodbye to the tracks now because that's what makes game sooo Gran Turismo.
I bought the Epson NSX GT500 with MTX and that came out last update?

They're not available in USA yet

I really cannot understand all the disappointment in a large number of responses in here. Come on, it's a gift, free content added to the game.

Personally I'm very happy with this update, nice cars I didn't even know I wanted them in the first place.
Love the Datsun, Ferrari and especially the Trans Am, although that one might be superb at a standing grid start up until the first corner where I will probably be painfully remembered about the breaking and cornering capabilities of the muscle cars from that era :-)

The amount of 'It's free' is amazing here, you guys are really just behind on that crap. Honestly!

Any game with MTX or recurring spending, is not adding content for free, lol. Wow!

Is MTX or spending real money every month on the new cars mandatory now?

[irony] Oh my god, when did that happen, I didn't realize that when buying all these newly added cars the last couple of months somehow secretly well hidden I've been paying for them using my credit card[/irony]

I think the pricing is supposed to be somewhat proportionate to real world rarity.

288 GTO - 272 produced
F40 - 1.311 produced
F50 - 349 produced
Enzo - 400 produced

It's not.

You can buy the cars with in game credit or real cash. Your choice.

Plus in addition using real money on buying cars in the game are limited to only cars that cost 2 million or less in the game so because of that, the 20 million cars, Red Bull X2014 Standard, Ford GT40 Mk.I, etc. you can't buy those with MTX.

WHat do you guys think the rough world values of these cars are? I think the:

288 is something like $1.5 mil usd
F40 is also around the same and approaching $2 mil now
F50 is a $2mil. car
Enzo is a $2.5 mil car

Prices are going up simply because there's more people who can afford them and supply is limited (obviously).

I think the F40 and Enzo is low given its an original included car? Now with DLC any kind of arbitrary value is fine.

Hagerty average values at the moment are:
288 GTO: 2.1 mil
F40: 1.1 mil
F50: 1.8 mil
Enzo: 2.4 mil
