The first gen MX-5 must appear soon otherwise I'll meet PD on the court
Couldn't it be a Gr.B car?
No, for the same reason the GT1 car from the 90s wouldn't be in the GR. 2.

You know, is necessary the Toyota TS020 comes with Nissan R390GT1 the eternal Le mans rivals from GT franchise since GT2.For giggles:
TRACK-
Used to be real/fictional/real/fictional until Fuji/RBR/Catalunya broke the cycle. Assuming that fictional 3x/real 3x is the new thing until March, fantasy track time. No idea, so default-ish suggestion of Deep Forest.
CARS:
Average of eight cars per update the last few go-arounds.
- Series favorite/stalwart, 3000GT VR4/Starion from later in it's production run.
- Stalwart 2, Toyota TS020
- Newcomer, Lancia 037
- Newcomer 2, 2019 ZR1 Corvette
- Oddball sure to cause contention amongst the SIMRACING IS SUPERSERIOUS/RACING FOR FUN IS FORBIDDEN crowd, it's the small boi Daihatsu Midget II. (Or, if I get my way, the BIG BOI Dodge SRT-10 Regular Cab)
- Returning premium, 2010 Honda CR-Z
- Returning premium, 2007 Lexus IS-F
- Returning premium, 1965 Shelby GT350
Wow MX-5, Huayra, Esperante and Escudo, you killing the list, realistic as possible. So, bearing in mind my contribution to the news site today, my speculation is:
Date - January 4th
Track - Real; Most likely candidates are Silverstone and that one in Belgium.
Cars - Eight
1. Mazda MX-5 (NA) 1989 - N100
2. Nissan Fairlady Z Z34 2008 - N300
3. Honda Civic (EK) Type R 1997 - N200
4. Pagani Huayra 2013 - N700
5. Pozzi MotorSports Camaro RS (2011 SEMA GT Award) - N500
6. Cizeta V16T 1994 - N500
7. Panoz Esperante GTR-1 1997 - Gr.2?
8. Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak 1997 - Gr.X
Actually, I've changed my mind on this. Firstly, it'd be two returning brands (Panoz, Cizeta) within one update again - that's happened four times, and in two paired updates (1.06 then 1.10; 1.29 then 1.31). Secondly, Panoz was the stumbling block that nearly saw the DeltaWing withdrawn from GT6 - Panoz wanted a huge licensing fee (reportedly $1,000,000), and I recall it was only settled because the image rights weren't entirely clear due to the Gestalt nature of the DeltaWing Racing company (parts owned by Nissan, Panoz, AAR and Michelin). That makes Panoz appearing as a brand again less likely.7. Panoz Esperante GTR-1 1997 - Gr.2?
First car from the LMP900/GT1 era I would like to think that PD would focus more on some iconic GT car, this case being the GT-ONE. Just my hopes thoActually, I've changed my mind on this. So let's say... oooooh...
7. Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR 1997 - Gr.1
Yet my post wasn't speculation... OKSo, bearing in mind my contribution to the news site today, my speculation is:

Your post was a wishlist. Look:Yet my post wasn't speculation... OK
Mine isn't a wish list - I have expressed no desire for those vehicles to be present in the game (and to be honest I'd only choose to drive one of them). Mine is a speculation. Speculation is "reasoning based on evidence". What you want isn't speculation, it's a desire. I feel that we've been through this already.I would want some LMP900 cars such as the Bentley Speed 8, Audi R8 and BMW V12 LMR.
As much as I want this car, it would be ridiculous in Gr.1.7. Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR 1997 - Gr.1
And that makes a difference? Because I say I want? Ok fine, I'll change my post to say:Your post was a wishlist. Look:

The evidence for my speculation is all the updates that have happened before and the distribution of nationalities and types of vehicles therein, including Gr:N ratio and returning cars from previous GT games. I even changed my mind on one of them, giving more evidence for my reasoning why. There's an article on the GTP news page today covering the frequency of updates (28.7 days), the numbers of cars (7.9) and tracks (2.5 - more if fictional, less if real), and the types of cars found in the updates. Thus "bearing in mind my contribution to the news site today".

"I think that LMP900 cars may show up in the game, as they were prominent in the likes of GT4. As we have some iconic Group C cars present, I have reason to suspect that they could show up"
Thus suggesting that I have applied no logic at all.Your reasoning needs to be grounded in logic derived from established patterns. Changing a word means little when you’ve already presented it as personal wishes.
Yes. Words have specific meanings. And that makes a difference? Because I say I want?
Thus suggesting that I have applied no logic at all.
lol my turn...

1. Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo ‘96
IKR the facelifted version looks better...This car gets mentioned a lot, which is understandable given the recent additions of the Supra RZ,
RX-7 Spirit R, 300 ZX TT and NSX-R. However, why are people nearly always referring to the '96 version when there was an awesome facelift in 1999?
Same. The '99 version is much better. This car gets mentioned a lot, which is understandable given the recent additions of the Supra RZ,

Lol mine had 938 HP in GT6...Same. The '99 version is much better.
Though I think it's partly due to it being memorable especially back in the original Gran Turismo (900+HP GTO anyone?)
It's more of a nostalgic value. I remember most peeps who played GT1 using that specific version of the GTO and tune it up to 900+HP for the Megaspeed Cup back in GT1.Lol mine had 938 HP in GT6...
If this is true it’d be quite awesome. So let's say... oooooh...
