He's a troll. However, the "Chinese or Japanese" ignorance tends to happen a lot, and it's painfully true in the United States.

Or Korean or Thai or Vietnamese or... but funnily enough asked if they want a Chinese of Japanese car they tend to know what's what then!

I would expect someone from Belgium to be a bit better educated but hell... I'm often disappointed by the riff raff on the internet.

Further one would think that Gran Turismo and Polyphony is one of the most Japanese companies out there.

China has zero representation on current western consoles.

Doesn't the Spoon Sports CR-Z count in terms of premium car?

Or maybe you're referring to race tuned Spoon Sports cars?
Trust, I'd love the CR-Z. Yes, just in terms of the more race focused cars.

Just a quick question: why does everyone think that Europeans are better educated on culture than Americans? I am from Ghana, grew up in Zambia, South Africa, UK and now live in the US. Europeans and Americans, from my experience, are equally ignorant about cultures and peoples that have little bearing on their daily lives. Oh, Africans too, BTW.
That comment is equally as likely to come from a European as it would an American. My observations.

I'm looking forward to some Japanese production cars in this next update, since we didn't get any of them in December's update. Mitsubishi 3000GT, Honda Integra DC5, Nissan 350Z and Nissan Silvia both S13 and S15. I feel these cars are close to come.

There's tons of Japanese production cars that should be added. The Mitsubishi FTO GPX '94 was a very beautiful thing. I remembered I had so much fun with the Mitsubishi Galant VR-G Touring in GT1. That was such a fun car to drive.

Here's the other reason I'm thinking Mitsubishi will have another car added to their stable: they've only ever gotten 1 DLC car and that was the '96 Lancer 6 months ago. Everything else, to my knowledge, was available in the vanilla release of the game.

I've mentioned before that if the January Update is gonna be like this year, that may be it. If they added the Toyotas, then maybe it's Mitsubishi's turn to have new cars. They can bring back the Evos and bring either a premium converted Mitsu or by a long shot maybe the Starion.

This was one of my favourites in GT1 as well. To a degree, that was due to the very drifty driving physics in GT1. Every car that was rather stable seemed more believable and in general, the Mitsubishis were among the best cars. I'm still in love with the yellow Mitsubishi 3000GT LM Edition.

Speaking of Toyota, the 7 would make a pretty good addition to GT Sport. I think it might work in the Classic Race Car event in GT League. There's also a precedent since it's been in a number of GT titles.

Mitsubishi is famous for its WRC program in the past and that's what most famous race cars are from. I doubt there'll be a Mitsubishi Gr.B car added when there's barely no dirt tracks added ever since the release of the game. Unless it's something special and different and that's where this comes to mind:

Mitsubishi PAJERO Rally Raid Car '85

Yes, the FTO GPX 94, at Deep Forest, under the trees with the sun shining through, one of the best replays I watched after getting it perfect through those turns. Loved how that car handled. Was 20 years ago but sticks in the mind.

Has a surprise Christmas mini update been totally ruled out? More realistically, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't until after the new year.

Now imagine if Deep Forest comes along with FTO and a few other japanese 90's cars in the same update, definitely spot on for the nostalgia, sincerely it would be an intelligent move from PD.

Well, up to January 12 on the Sport Mode Calendar, no "TBA" tracks. Might not get an update. Unless, PD are reverting to end of month again.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 is next month. GTS is a sponsor.

Also, remember this:

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing selected "from past to future" as the theme for Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 and will feature our challenges.

Exhibition vehicles include the Yaris WRC, the TS050 Hybrid, and the 2019 Lexus LC Nurburgring-spec, all of which will compete in top-level races next year. A Supra vehicle that participated in past domestic races and the GR Supra Super GT Concept will also go on display.

So, could be a chance we get this new Supra and there is also the VLN Supra that raced at the Nurb24.
