I'm predicting a GTLeague race with these 3:

(That's also the closest we can get if we want a 50's Sports cars/Touring cars race.)

Knowing PD, they might set the Dino's or 356'es price at like 99.000 Cr., just for the bants

I say about 450,000 cr. for the Dino and a cool million for the 356, as the silhoutte looks like a 1600, SC or some other varient that went for auction in real life a little while ago at that price (in U.S. $). I don't mind. I got enough credits from just recently grinding once a day at N200 tune with the RX500 on Blue Moon Bay, at 405,000 cr. a pop, before getting bored.

N.b. @sparkytooth I couldn't remember the price of the Dino in GT6. If that is the case then the better for it. 👍

Think for a second about what "sports car" means? Which kind of cars are they introducing in most of the updates? Of course "Sports cars". Should we call the game "GT race"?

I mean I understand all the people who are eager to compete in sport mode in their race cars, but for me road cars are way more fun. I'm not against they would add more GR.3/4/2/1 but Grant Turismo has always been about sports cars/road cars along with race cars and I hope it would always stay like that. You have other games for only "race cars"

I couldn't agree with you more. It really doesn't matter what number or words are put after GT and that's because GT has always been about a very diverse selection of cars and it's focus has never been about Race Cars only from day 1.
I don't think GT would have ever become one of the all time best selling racing games if it had just been a game with Race Cars only. We already had Race Car games out when GT was first introduced and none of them even came close to reaching the popularity of GT and I'm 100% convinced that the road cars were probably the biggest part of the GT success.
I think a huge part if not the majority of people still like the Road Cars in GT more than Race Cars otherwise PD wouldn't waste the time and effort adding in a bunch of cars nobody wants.

Just because we have been able to race real humans since GT5 or because the title has Sport in the name or because it's endorsed by the FIA does not mean GT should ever go Race Cars only.
Funny how people forget that GTS was almost a huge flop at release because it was promoted as a online Race Car only game and the vast majority of cars in GTS at release were all Race Cars. Sure didn't take PD long to correct that mistake quickly and I bet they won't ever make that mistake again.

I'm pleased TVR is back in, I didn't have to wait long for that, I only bought GT Sport a couple of weeks ago :D.

Some great cars coming, the Dino, 356, GT350, DB3S, I'm really looking forward to driving those classics. After I've taken the Tuscan for a spin of course :mischievous:.

If 356 ends up costing 1 mil+, then i better start saving up :D

The Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo everyone wants suddenly seems highly possible after the Integra DC2 was upgraded to high quality. :)
Those GTOs were upgraded standard models in GT6, so far we haven't seen any of those make the transition so I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

None of that speaks against the possibility that the car might appear in GTS at some point. On the contrary, actually.

Figured, just purchased the Abarth BAT for a million credits leaving me 500,000. Definitely want to try the Integra, Dino, and the 356 in VR. The Integra should be cheap, the Dino moderate like several hundred thousand, but the Porsche will be ridiculous. Like 3 million.

Maybe be a not as popular as other tracks surrounded by natural backdrops, such as Deep Forest or Trial Mountain, but I want autumn ring back. I think it found it's place racing karts there (especially in reverse). As I don't find any of the tracks in GT Sport as much fun with them.

Some wanted more race cars. As pointed by our, we got The Aston, 356 and maybe Shelby 350(R). Add that Integra to the list. There is a reason it carries the 'R'.

I remember someone did a V-tec video, for each Integra Type R in GT6. Should sound awesome in game. It's a serious machine. Love my Hondas.

After the Integra DC2 and the 22B STI and the Supra RZ and the first gen NSX Type R and the Honda Beat and so on^^ In fact, GTSport is a very good Gran Turismo updates afer updates. It's even better than GT5 and GT6 in terms of the car list. There are less cars but they're often highly requested or essential for GT.

I don't know how to explain that, maybe we should compare the new cars of GT6 and the DLC cars of GTSport to understand how much the latter is better for a longtime GT player. Very optimistic for the future of GT. If they bring back so many classic cars of GT, I'm sure they are working on original tracks too.

Very sad that they seem to have chosen the worst looking 356. Boy is it ugly with that roll bar.

The elegance of the regular 356 was what they really needed. Big miss from PD there.

I agree, the ever growing car list for GTS is perhaps the most focused yet. Not yet complete but the ongoing pattern suggests we're getting there eventually.

Yes it lacks the smooth, clean looks of a regular road - I always referred to it as an upside down bathtub - but at least it will be more competitve to race then some of the other dead wood cars in the game. Interesting to tune. And community created liveries will be more suited to it. So there is an upside. Look on the bright side. :)

Plus, it'll look cool next to the Mini , with its roll cage. Some cool Scapes circuit action shots. ;)

How could any car lover hate this pack?

Let's break the cars down, one by one:

Porsche 356. A car that put Porsche on the map, in giant killing road race spec setup.

Dino 246. One of the most beautiful cars ever styled by Pininfarina, or to come off the production line at Maranello for that matter. A classic in it's own right that Ferrari eventually accepted the little V6 as an actual "Ferrari"!

Shelby GT350. The most coveted version of the most recognisable shape (fastback) of one of the biggest selling and iconic american cars of all time. By the most legendary of tuners.

Honda Integra Type R. One of the best handling, front wheel drive and affordable sports cars of it's time. With one of the greatest engines ever produced. From the greatest period in Japanese production car history.

BMW Z8. Yes it is flawed. But still a beautiful homage to the even more beautiful 507. Possibly the most beautiful BMW ever.

TVR Tuscan. Return of the great quirk. The last TVR before they got decimated by their subsquent Russian owner. Shame no paint chips to collect in GT Sport to use on other cars. Nothing looks like a TVR. Inside or out!

Aston Martin DB3S. A Pebble Beach award winner. And a capable racer during the golden years of racing. No small feat.

Nissan 350Z. My cousin owns one. So he will be happy when I tell him. But honestly, a great addition to the famous Fairlady/Z line.

I think you get the message. Cannot wait! :)

Yep, Gtsport will always be a work in progress with the reasonable feeling of missing cars (even more given that I play a lot FH4) and unfortunately the next GT seems to be very far off.

Everything that’s free is cool BUT I would like to see more modern race cars in the future. (We still don’t have a single GT1 car)

Here’s a hope that we finally see that VTEC kick in yo, for the first time in a GT game.

Neat set of cars, there's a good argument for all of them as unique in automotive history. Since GT has always been an homage to automotive history this pack makes as much sense as a pack of race cars. I like Gr. 3 & 4 a lot, it's where I spend the majority of my time in the game, but I don't feel there's a real shortage there, nor in Gr 1, maybe a balancing in there I guess. Group 2, fair enough.

It makes me chortle when people try and predict what PD is doing against current events. This is a company that held it's championships at Monaco and unironically released a Tokyo guardrail track. Yeah, DaytonaSupra992SchumacherSpa through December/January, no question, but PD has never given much evidence of that kind of planning. Yeah, they manage to time Christmas right, but otherwise I don't think the calendar, or location of their events, has any gravity on their planning.

Anyway, just because of the crappy way Kie was treated with his Spa leak around here I'd love to see that come first. Plus it's by far my first choice. My gut says no though. IF, and that's a big IF, PD is attaching the cars to the environments in some way I don't think Spa makes sense this month. But, who knows what their release calendar looks like.

is it just me or every time a new update is announced with new cars, what I really "look forward" is to listen to the engine sound improvements over GT6?
Can't wait to hear the 3.5 V6 engine from the 350Z:drool::D
