I remember I was told(in the old Porsche thread), just because the Porsches were in the opening movie, doesn't mean we were getting those or any Porsches. Hmmm. Now, back to that new Supra...

And I'm still waiting for this bad boy

It is really attention attracting in the opening movie, and it is a fantastic beast.
Is it in the Merc Museum in Stuttgart?

That 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK sure is a beauty. We might have a chance of getting that in the future since we're waiting on the 1929 Mercedes-Benz S Tourer Pebble Beach winner to show up. To be honest, although the S Barker Tourer is a coach-built car and surely is very sweet, I'd much prefer the SSK because they had so much more power and performance than the standard S model.
The '29 S Barker Tourer GT Award winner yet to come:

The '28 SSK Roadster as seen in the intro:

They are beauties. You know what? I'm looking forward to these two.

I believe I saw both of them in the opening movie.

And most importantly, 300 SL Gullwing is yet to come. It MUST come as we already have super-fine modelling 2000GT and E-type.

Vintage open wheelers like that W196 would be awesome! But that 300 SLR though...

Not sure if it's in a museum. Fun fact: that 450 SLC AMG race car, is an automatic!

Really hope one day well’have 50s formula one cars, I also hope one day forgotten tracks as the old Hockenheim or Pau will come to the franchise. I still hope as in GT6 some of the track we already have will come as 80s or 90s edition, with grass and mud outside the corners...
I’m a nostalgic...

I've done the Nostalgic 1979 Round 2, Sarthe No Chicane for lots of times...
You can do it if you want to ready your money to purchase the upcoming cars.

Who actually liked Chamonix on the PS3
Only the insane.

But hey, if it comes, it comes, regardless of who'd like it and who wouldn't like it. I would suggest that, since this is a speculation thread, and not a what I want and don't want thread (that's what the Suggestions forums are still for), it's highly unlikely that this particular old asset will return for the same reasons as Kazunori Yamauchi has stated regarding Deep Forest and others: they need a lot of work to get them functioning in GT Sport.

If a snow track arrives, and it's called Chamonix, it's more likely that it will be a new track - just as it was when it arrived in GT5/6 compared to the GT4/PSP version...

... but we've had no "loose-surface" tracks added to GT Sport in any update of any kind yet, so it seems unlikely all ends up.

GT4's was better.

I always preferred that version, the start was always my favorite.
Though I hated it for how long and complex it was :D
It's just one of those tracks I dislike so much I actually like it. Probably nostalgia.

On the flip side - isn't it about time they did?

I wonder what the plans are for the rally side of things. PD have been adding cars that are rally classics like the Alpine, Lancia Delta, Evo IV, Impreza (22B & IOM) and Mini Cooper at a steady rate, but they are road car versions not Group B cars.

Before launch they went to the trouble of making rally tracks and working on a new variation of the physics model to go with it. I think they planned to expand on the rally side but so far haven't got the resources to add a new location without having to ignore popular requested tracks which will also be used in FIA races.
