[Update!][PS3] GTA IV Role Play Events!

I've just logged onto the Playstation, and I intend on sticking around longer this time. As long as you, or someone else makes the room, I'd be happy to go whenever one of you guys are ready. I'd prefer to not make a room because it takes me long enough to figure out which menu to go to to make one, and then there's all the settings and whatnot, and well...yeah.

After what happened with the WRC today, I feel bad for not having said this before:
It's highly unlikely I'll be able to attend any RP for at least the next few weeks. That, plus I'd really like to see some more "public events" where our characters actually socialise everybody. Being a part on the paper is worth nothing when you're not "in".

Nobody gives a crap anymore. I messaged all the active members with a working PS3, and still only Doog, thenew and ROB_N_Banks24 showed up. Trips showed up later but the RP had died by then. I try to revive this, and nobody cares. Today I've been p!ssed around too much. I should've known. I really should've known. How about I'll sign up to all your events then not show up? Shall I do that? I hate people who just don't have dedication to things they should have. You signed up, you take part. If you can't do that, pull out. I've had enough.

), but if people make me, you, or anyone else sign up and go through the trouble of sending invite after invite to just completely blow this 🤬 up?.You're gone. I've bit my tongue long enough. People who don't join? Bye. I learned that these "RP" events were not a good idea at all. Well I suppose I'm throwing in the towel as well. Inconsistent events, some of which happen, some of which don't, with inconsistent levels of interest, as well as people who join but then can't actually join rooms at all, and members that I quite like rage-quitting makes it very hard to see a reason to go on. So, it's been a good run, but I think it's time for me to grab my coat.

Now I know why the last GTA IV RP event ended as well https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=222486, even though I tryed to make these events more "roomy." People have different levels if interest, timezones, and server screw ups. It isn't any ones fault, but trust me - it gets on my nerves so much to set up a lobby. I'm getting spammed "Invite" and people are inviting me to their lobby's, and the glitches in between. Too much effort for too little time.
Guess it's time to clean up the PSN Friends list

I sincerely apologize for my absence in resent events. I would like to help bring this threads' interest back up to where it once was. I like to play video games in my free time. That means if I already have plans with a friend, i'm not going to say "let's not go to the movies tonight, I want to stay home and play Grand Theft Auto.." Seriosly, work and social life comes first, then Grand Theft Auto. I would just like to clear up any confusion as to why I have been missing events.

etty drug dealer, mugging and stealing on the street and occaisional shop theft but mainly Chris works for anybody and everybody illegal and legal but Chris has his priorities and one main Priority is that he will never kill anybody unless absolutley neccessary, he has a girlfriend of 2 years and a son of 6 months and doesn't want to risk losing then by going to prison on a life charge.

Personality: Chris is an outgoing and easy to get along with man but if you get on the wrong side of him, he will let you know about it.Chris is known to rob and intimidate people who get on his bad side and he knows how to keep a grudge.Chris has a family and lives quietly but roughly in bohan, but as much as he would love to settle down, his worklife consists of frequent police enquiries, gang members threatening to attack him and his family and potential customers harrasing him daily for their quality goods. Chris dreams of two things. one, for someone well known in the criminal underworld to take him under his wing, teach him the ropes and live his life in luxury or two, someone known around town as a legit hard worker willing to give him a job so he can live his life worry-free with his family. Chris likes to have nights out and party just as much as he likes his cars but both dont come as much as he would hope as the only partying he gets his a quiet beer in his flat whilst taking hassle from his girlfriend, changing nappies and being harrased and his 'car' is an old bangar that wouldnt be worth a penny in this day and age. Chris first went to prison at the age of 12 and was released after 4months for selling drugs but 6 months later he got 4 years for the manslaughter of his friends dad who treated his friend like a dirty animal rather than his son unfortuanatly during his prison time his friend was murdered in a revenge killing by his dads brother aka his uncle.

I would be up for another event if time is good (please, not too late, an hour before midnight it's not fun 
) and if we're not gonna end in the "2 groups walking around not giving a 🤬 about the others". Solution: have something for all to attend, no matter what. Walking around alone on the bridge with the chance of falling off while feeling excluded is not fun at all.
