Assuming that MNP paint is the solid variety, i.e., not metallic or pearl, when I am not sure of the HSV components of the paint color which must be applied in the livery editor, I have approximated a paint color by testing decals applied above the desired color with unknown values.

Try loading one of the Nissans painted with MNP into the livery editor creating a new livery which you need not save. Apply a square decal above a paint workspace section which may be viewed from multiple angles and in the various ambient light conditions. Adjust the HSV components of the decal so that you cannot distinguish between the decal and the underlying paint. Record these values and use them in a new livery editor creation for paint for your R33.

I hope you find this technique useful 👍
Or you could just buy the MNP paint in GT Auto!

Yeah, but it’s just not the same to me as buying an R33 that “naturally” comes in MNP.
Looks pretty good to me!

It’ll be interesting how that works, when/if we can sell cars that have been painted versus cars with the original Color. Maybe an R33 Skyline repainted in MNP might not drop in value, but maybe a 250 GTO Berlinetta repainted in Honda Yellow will?

It seems that some cars have multiple factory decal colors for the same car, but the used car dealer does not appear to cycle through all color variations. For example: 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL has only (to my knowledge) black stripes along the side when it appears in the UCD, but you will see AI using the same car with Blue/Red "M" color stripes during races. Other than replicating the decals in the livery editor, how would we have access to this car in all original color variations/decals since the car is only available in the UCD?

Same goes with variations on interior colors, like the 1995 Porsche Carrera RS (non-Clubsport version), which can be won in a Menu race with yellow seatbelts, yellow seat backs and yellow "Carrera RS" lettering in the rear of the car, which cannot be edited, so you will never be able to own this same car again, as far as I know, because the UCD only offers the version with grey/black interior colors.

I found this picture on the official GT website of the BMW 3.0 CSL, but I have not seen this color available in the UCD or anywhere else.

There are 18 variations of that car. Possible that it hasn't showed up yet.
Yeah, hopefully just that it hasn't cycled through yet, but I have also see the same handful of colors repeating so it's a little worrying.

The CSLs have been cycling through different colors. The Porsches seem to be stuck on repeat.

I didn’t think I’d be a stickler for different colour options. But here I am. Bought another Integrale because there’s a dark blue/black option. And still on the look out for a Miami Vice style white Testarossa!

Rotations have been broken since the end of May iirc, they only fixed it in 1.20. Before then, every car would appear in the same colour every time it appeared - but we're finally getting some variety!

That Celica is a good example. Only been able to get it in yellow until post-patch.

Another baby step - it appears we'll no longer have 2 Fiat 500 Fs in the rotation - the higher-mileage/lower-priced one showed up in the UCD tonight, and that had been the second one to show up.

Scratch that - it's the lower-mileage/higher-priced one that showed up. Watch the higher-mileage/lower-priced one show up either tomorrow night or Tuesday night just as it has every month since June.

More 500 F madness - the second one that appeared this cycle, which sold out the same time as its twin the first one last night, now got replaced by the higher-mileage/lower-priced one...without a new tag, but with a "limited availability" one.

So you think there is something broken in the UCD and LCD rotation? There seems to be some weird stuff happening with both!!

The UCD has been effectively broken since late-May. Other than the dueling 500 Fs, every appearance of each car has the same mileage and same number of days available each appearance. Between late-May and the 1.20 update, that rut also included having the same color, but PD turned the RNG for color back on.

As for Hagerty's, other than the long-overdue Escudo, that was PD simply skipping 22 cars in the rotation, then returning to them slightly early...at least at this point
