Is this the first time the UCD has failed to update, and if it has happened before, was it in proximity to an update?
Not that I can tell, though there were some other UCD oddities, mostly not surrounding an update. There was one Hagerty's car that sold out and wasn't replaced for several days even though that dealership otherwise operated normally.
That’s kind of the question I was asking as well.

I think the closest are maybe cars being sold out over weekends and no new cars added or replacing them. Well, the Weekly Races usually got dictated by the special picks dealerships, but that didn’t happen for this weeks races. Guess we’ll see in an hour.
We aren't in line for another one of those situations; the only two series that haven't hit the 3-race maximum are the Gallardo and Mono, with both cars available in Brand Central.

That’s pretty much why we do have those specific road cars(CSLs, E30s, 190 E, RS 500, R32) with widebody and aero options over their race car models. It has saved PD from getting licences for those race cars. I believe Famine explained a bit about licensing a car, that would include all the sponsor licensing stickers that were on those cars as well.
Yes, I would like all those historic cars. I just don’t see those specific race cars in the UCD where I’d see these more specifically.

Well everyone likes to see a specific set of cars roll around. We all have our preferences I guess.

Okay. I didn’t see the RS 500 there yesterday. It’s there now with no “New” label.

UCD Hostage Update - Day 81

With the return of the 1991 Ferrari Testarossa, the regular rotation is now starting to repeat cars that began their prior regular appearance in September. Indeed, the Testarossa has made three regular appearances...and one special appearance...since the 2008 Nissan Fairlady Z, the car held hostage (at least in the UCD) the longest, last sold out on 7/8.

The list of hostages has also been expanded to 15 17 (I forgot about the two 2000's cars introduced alongside the 1997 BMW M3), including a pair of cars with a last regular appearance in July but, like the 1976 Ferrari 512 BB, having subsequent special appearances. The full list (sorted by the sell-out/disappearance date of the most-recent regular or, in the case of the 1997 BMW M3, sole appearance):
  • 1997 BMW M3 (last...and first...available 7/25-8/11, selling out 8/12)
  • 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia (last...and first...available in the UCD 7/25-8/11, selling out 8/12)
  • 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 (last...and first...available in the UCD 7/25-8/11, selling out 8/12)
  • 2002 Honda NSX Type R (last available in the UCD 7/11-7/23, selling out 7/24)
  • 2003 BMW M3 (last available in the UCD 7/15-7/20, selling out 7/21)

  • 2000 TVR Tuscan Speed 6 (last available in the normal rotation 7/9-7/17, selling out 7/18; was a Special Pick 8/20-8/25, selling out 8/26)
  • 1990 Nissan R32 GT-R NISMO (last available in the normal rotation 7/9-7/17, transferred to a "Weekly Challenge" Special Pick with the same mileage/price 7/18-7/19, selling out 7/20; was again a "Weekly Challenge" Special Pick 8/22-8/30, selling out 8/31)
  • 2009 Audi TTS Coupe (last available in the UCD 7/11-7/17, selling out 7/18)
  • 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) (last available 7/11-7/17, selling out 7/18)

Very weird indeed. With another Used car(another Lancer Evo) about to enter the line up next week. Should be fun to see the next rotations.

We finally have some movement as two of the three hostages that made their debuts in the previous content update have been set free into the regular rotation - the 1997 BMW M3 and the Lamborghini Gallardo. Notably, they were in limbo the least amount of time.

What, they put it up in black today?

Edit: Woah, when I checked at 01:15 BST this morning, the BMW and Gallardo were still green and yellow respectively. Just grabbed myself a Cosmos Black E36.

Daylight savings Time has begun. We’ll see what happens.

Edit: Color glitch. Get it quick!

That’s why I make sure to grab more than a handful of the cars I like in various colors for stuff like this.

Gallardo color change

Not only the color is different, but the price dropped on the BMW M3 97?????

In my screenshot the price was 85,500, and now it is 81,100?

What sorcery is this, PD???? 😅

With any luck it could come sooner than later.

Edit: @Batschisane52 the random color(mileage, price) glitch usually happens after an update or fix or time change. The colors are random. We might get a same color next time the car comes around. The E36 took a long time to return in the rotation. So, this is like a lucky gift if players are able to check cars everyday.

When a car gets to be avaiable at the UCD or LCD it remains with the same color, mileage and price untill the end of its avaiability.

Having a car changing its color and mileage over night, I believe it's a first. Hence the question ir that's a glitch or not.
It’s been happening the past two years. My quote or cars changing color again in September 2023 that I originally posted in November 2022.
This post is from end of November update:

We saw around last week or the week before, cars were switching in the UCD. It may have been a test of the selling system. The same model cars were changing price, color and mileage each day.
It'll be interesting to test.
I don’t expect anything new to be added for the appraisals. Probably just a bug from the last update.
Was happening in the LCD as well:
The Porsche Strassen 911 GT1 is now yellow and has only 222 miles.

The Ferrari F50 also changed to red from yellow and now has 953 miles.

The Porsche 959 87 has also changed to Graphite Metallic and has 867 miles.

Wonder if this is the normal now with cars that have different colors in the LCD.
