Your article was rather short, but I'll make it work.

Yeah I might do that, considering I've already promised to advertise an other racing club. Do you want to make the ad yourself? (one page size A4) Give it a go, if it doesn't work out I can help you, as long as you use photoshop that is.

I'll save this idea for future use then! 👍

I will make the add myself mate, I was just asking for you to include it...

Thank you!

Hey there...did you get the article I sent you? It's been a decent while since I sent it...I have pictures too, I've sent all of the files in the right type...

I've submitted an article about clean & gentlemanly online racing called "The Good Racecraft Guide" via the email address in the first post, please credit it to either VBR if you decide to use it, thanks.

👍

Sounds great, I'll take a look at it in a few moments mate! 👍

Hey Schwadegan, what about a "reader's rides" section? Take maybe 3 or 4 cars from readers or contributors and then put them on a page with a small pic of the car and short blurb about it? Just food for thought.....

Also, the "300" article is coming along slowly, but it's getting there. Still have to take pics too. Trying to get a decent pic of all 4 cars together.

I like this idea. Would really being in a feeling of a 'user contributed' mag.

Wait, now it is a contest to get in the magazine?

No. It's just a little competition for those who would like to win a free car of their own choice. I'll most probably publish all of the participants articles anyway, even if they don't win a car while contributing. See it as a little motivation :)
The work will continue as before, all articles that hold an acceptable standard and with an interesting topic will be published.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to announce that we now have got a copy editor to help us correct grammar mistakes and spelling errors! Hopefully this will improve the overall quality and feel of the magazine already in time for number two :)

I could edit/sharpen/smooth the writing for you... contact me plz! Thank you Schwadegan!

I'm working 60+ hours a week now, but I will make sure to have you another Junker Files article as soon as possible. I'm not sure what car I'm going to use quite yet, but the '68 Isuzu 117 Coupe has had my attention recently.

Sent you the article and pics again...

Hmm, I still haven't received your article... very strange. :ill:
Please be sure you're sending it to granturismo.mag@gmail.com, I've checked the spam filter but it's not present there either. :(
I'd be really bummed out if I didn't get the opportunity to put your article in GTlife.

I like how we've been able to get people that know proper usage of typography ^_^ Keep it up. Ill maybe contribute one of these times

I think it'd be cool if someone made an article about GT1. Like really in depth, as a bit of nostalgia and an opportunity for those who weren't around at the time to play it. What do you think, anyone who'd like to do something like that?

Why not turn that into a "rotating column" called "Old School" for car/track reviews, race reports, research, and so on from previous GT games? You could either choose the writer randomly every month from a set of applicants or set up some sort of rotation. Might be interesting to see who signs up.

Anyway, I have something I'm working on now. It may or may not be finished at some point

What track is that were you're driving the Lotus?

Woops, pages back, but it was a Mt. Aso custom track for the Caterham.

Funnily enough, I've been toying with an idea 'bout that. I'll send you a PM tonight or tomorrow explaining in a bit better detail :).

I also like W&N's idea of maybe turning it into a regular column 👍

"300" article nearly complete now, pictures taken. Here's a taste. Perhaps a possible candidate for the next cover??

I have some cars together for a Le Mans test now.

Ford GT40
Jaguar XJ13
Toyota GT-One
Toyota Minolta 88-CV
Audi R10
Peugeot 908 (both)
Pescarolo-Peugout

I think thats a good idea for an article...

If I do it it will appear about May / June.

Interesting concept but the content is rubbish.

Concluding that real-life cars have poor handling based on poor drivign in a video game detracts from the entire production.

Sorry folks, if you are going to this much effort into the whole endevour the least you can do is have capable test-drivers do the articles.

Hi RC45, and thanks for your feedback.

This magazine relies on people who compose their articles in their spare time because they enjoy writing and sharing their thoughts about Gran Turismo and cars in general. I can't defend the author's opinion since that's neither my task or right to do so.
If you feel you could write anything (in your own opinion) considered not to be rubbish, or know someone who can, please do recommend them to write an article and send my way.
