VCRC vintage & low power :: Sunday 3pm GMT / 10am US EST

Sign me up for Sundays race, please. :)
(Prefer Brands GP, but only because I intensely dislike (i.e. suck at) the McClaren/Clearways transition at Brands Indy. XD )

Since the car has an adjustable transmission and downforce, what are the rules on setups? Honor principle and leave it at stock settings, or set it up for the track? Just wondering, as the rules only talk about tuning. :)

that's a go - vote away - and let me know if you're signing up too :odd:

I k now what you mean about the indy course transition point

but GOOD GRAVY SWEET BABY PEAS - do NOT TELL ME that tuning prohibited now allows something other than the default tuning adjustments!!!!! :scared:

*phew*
No, you need to have the tuning options at DEFAULT.
Or else it doesn't let you enter in tuning prohibited. (As it should be.)

And, interestingly enough, I do NOT see an option to "reset to defaults".
So don't go monkeying with those settings, or you'll be frantically trying to figure out what needs to be changed back before the race starts.

Yay! I am glad.

Also, I miss the ability to reset to default. I already have several race cars that I've had to buy a second copy of, after using all three setting sheets and not noting defaults down. (I keep a nice old-fashioned paper logbook now for default set-ups.)

 too funny

I actually tested them both last night and realized it's the GP one where the left turn (where you would turn right at Indy) is what throws me off.
So I had them confused before!! :dunce:

Anyhow, I must say that in testing... I think the gt6 s800 race car feels more "like a race car". Not sure how to explain that. But it really does FEEL like a race car version of the s800.

 :boggled:

Cool. So does this mean you are changing your vote? Please!!!

No, no you misunderstood. I originally thought I preferred GP... but when I tested last night, I found it's the GP one that confuses me... so I voted for Indy. And that's my vote.

So where are we with the votes then?

Does Dagger311 's vote count when he didn't know what the heck he was voting for??

Mind you... the s800 is pretty fun at ovals...

And speaking of which, I would like to do an oval endurance at some point with a lower power vintage car. 💡
I would prefer an endurance on Daytona SS though... because of the time & weather change, and because visibility is generally better there and there's less chance of crashes into the pit frankly.

Dagger you get to revote then. It is a tie at this current moment and okay watermelon I did misunderstand you sorry.

Oh , I almost forgot , my vote also goes to indy , just because its a shorter track and you could overtake some cars more than once :-)
