In your case I would join to earn some track time, 1 hour is long , anything can happen !
I dont like this track much but I join also , just that I'll get used to the track and stay competitive for further events , track time & practice is not replacable :cheers:

I turned my driving line on, and did just fine when I used it's braking points. I'm still in. There's one corner that throws me off, but the driving line helps.

I just made a few practice laps (96:D)
What I recognized is that using those areas outside the curbs at T2 & T3 can give you a 1.5 second advantage over the normal track ! Are we having brands hatch in the track boundaries thread ? I would suggest a two wheels inside rule at the beginning , like always 👍

Yes, the rule is 2 wheels at all times on track surface or striped curbing that marks the boundaries of the track proper.

I noticed too that going more wheels up on paved corners or going wide, can gain advantage, much like a lot of tracks.

There is a potential if you're trying to get it just right, that you can slip up and go 4 wheels outside the track boundaries. Particularly in this car. :lol:

Obviously this can happen by accident. But if you pass doing it, you should give the spot back, and if it happens on a lot of laps, of course it will look like cheating. 👎

So it's important to observe the proper track boundaries.

Example: using the Cooper rumble strip with 2 wheels on the rumble strip & 2 wheels in the grass, to pass on the outside would be NOT appropriate.


And obviously, if you wind up 4 wheels off track - then you have to behave as a car that has "gone off track" and re-enter the track with the appropriate caution.
(One would hope that's a no-brainer in a race with damage. :lol:)

Wouldn't sign in to psn... Don't know why... They don't usually update the servers on Sundays... It would login and as soon as gt6 is on it signs out...
 
I actually couldn't see any of my friends on PSN, not just whether they were online but there was no list of friends. Had to reboot router to clear it up.

Had lots of problems with lapped traffic today, hope it's just due to the nature of a short track or something. I don't think cars that are multiple laps down should be fighting with lead lap cars for track position though.

Don't expect me at the Autumn Ring enduro because I'm just going to end up ruining the race for some fast people. I'll be back for the one afterwards.

We race clean. (see the rules section in the OP & varoius regs & settings).

Actually I now realize that this identical looking car thing is a little bit of a problem with lap traffic. I was having trouble knowing who was who where when a bunch of us got together at the same corner with us on 3 different laps. :boggled:
 
It would be good if we could change the numbers:nervous:

Was looking at map, when someone was behind, then reading the names, then getting out the way.

I can race next Sunday.

Yes, the track was congested, but I thought that this made the race challenging and fun!:)

I felt that the Honda S800 handled well enough that having close battles with the other cars didn't often end up in tears unless you were really pushing it to the limit.

Of course, I had the advantage of being able to follow kcheeb for most of the race, and was able to let kcheeb do all the hard work of sweeping the track clean of cars for me to proceed smoothly.:) Thanks!

I would like everybody to report car colours...
this will be listed in Post #2 of the thread.
Preferably with a different colour than other people!
I say this because it's bound to get confusing on a small track like this.
And I know one of my sources of confusion in the s800 race car race was that everyone looked identical. :lol:
Maybe that's just me.
But how about we try to get a mix of colours so people like me can keep track more easily with colour coding. :lol: 👍 :lol: :D

Also, cc570 thinks we ought to use Comfort Hard Tires.
the car comes with Comfort Medium Tires.

I was hoping to do a mandatory pit stop with mandatory tire change...
But in testing, @amarynceos & I found some problems with this. :scared: Like that sometimes it doesn't allow you any options when you enter the pit.

This is bizarre.

So anyway, if anyone has anything to input about this... have at it.
