Anyone tried the Cappuccino yet?

Yep. In a quick little shakedown run for a few laps 'round Eiger Short, I shaved over .500 off my previous time. This little car is stable to the point of being ridiculous... nothing short of an e-brake intervention would get it to kick the tail out. I suppose that's attributed to it's godlike 133hp though. :dopey:

Oh, and this is on sport soft tires, not even the racing ones.

I look forward to your feedback, its probably my best tune that Elise!

I had some time to test the Elise 111 RM with the Vengence tune this evening.
The car has been one of my biggest problems in the game so far, on every track Ive raced it, from Tsukuba to Nürnburg, it has delivered horrible handling, nomatter how I tried to adjust its settings. Fast light cars can be almost impossible to drive when something is off.
I try to achieve a flowing drivingstyle, cautiously braking deep into the corners and gently applying power from the apex. This was impossible with the Elise, I often understeered into trouble and when I let go of the throttle to try to correct , the car spun out with the tail all over the place.

My first few test laps on Deep Forest Raceway with the Vengence tune was a slow return to actually beginning to trust the cars ability to corner and build confidence in my driving! A couple of days ago, I was fortunate to race with some very good Elise RM drivers there, doing laps in the 1:11.9xx´s. WAY ahead of me just trying to keep the car on the road.

On my 5.th testlap I managed a 1:12.7xx, sensing that the gearing was restricting laptimes. So I changed the max-speed and after 6 more laps my best clean lap was down to a 1:11.603. An improvement by more than 2,5 seconds of my previous best laptime.

The tune provides great cornering abilities and stabilty on the straights, which leads to driver confidence, and Im sure the next time I take the Elise out to Deep Forest, I can shave 2, maybe 4 tenths off and still do consistent laps.
Amazing tune for what I consider a difficult car, Im very grateful Mike that you shared this tune with us!

PS: I still havent maxed out the aero parts, so maybe there´s even faster laptimes in store from this tune!

- More practice with the Elise brought times down to 1.09.792, with a minor slip letting 3 wheels go outside the track:

I´m still amazed about the level of detail in this game.

Thanks for the feedback, She is amazing when tamed and driven well.
The downforce is a key part of the tune and I recommend trying it with the aeros set to max 👍

@Madmike. You know I questioned the Elise RM tune in online racing ? Well over the last two days I have used all 3 Elises online and they were much better without any changes. I am beginning to wonder whether online physics are as changeable as the weather here in the UK, but that is a separate discussion.

btw good to see a Cappucino RM tune, I was one of those who discovered how much fun that car could be before the seasonal events.

Steven, I believe the physics are different, on some cars such as my elise's, I think the difference is not that noticable, however on some cars the difference is huge!

Do you mean you used the elise's with stock tuning? or with my tunes?

To start off with, your elise and lambo tunes are the nuts mate, I am a complete noob at tuning and driving on this game but your tunes for them cars have made it 10x easier for me, thanks m8.
Do you do request tunes as I really do like your tunes and really appreciate the work you must have put into them.

Cheers Pete.

Hi there, thank you for the feedback :)
Im glad your liking the tunes, and that its making things easier for you.
Im not taking requests in any official format just yet, but then I like to help so yeh, request away! lol

The Minolta Toyota 88C-V race car '89 is the one I am having a little trouble with at the moment, I have used a setup off these forums but it was not very good. If you can help it would be great if not no worries I am sure you enjoy playing the game too lol :D
Cheers Pete.

So long as you're taking requests: I'd love to see some more of the low weight cars tuned--the GXR4, the Fireblade, the Giulia TZ2 and the Ginetta G4. If you could tune up the Fireblade, especially if you could make a max tune raceable, you'd be a hero.

PS. I also posted some feedback on the thread about the Motor Sport Elise.

And so long as I'm requesting, I'd love to see a stock weight/Maxed HP tune of the 111R.

i second this with the suzuki gsx-r/4 because one just beat my elise online with a 6:38 on the ring :scared:

Not much of a difference, if any, with the 96 RM as well. I'm still using your setup for that car to take down giants at the Ring.

I will see what I can do for ya mate, have the elise and GSX-R both tuned but havent looked into tweaking the ride yet, when I get time I will 👍

Good to hear! There are alot of tunes for that elise now, im pleased mine is considered one of the best, especially as it was my first published tune lol

I just plugged the Cappuccino RM numbers into a regular Cappuccino with sport softs. Apart from the lack of downforce, it works quite well. :D 👍 It still loses the rear progressively but there were times were I couln't quite catch it mid corner.

Cool, good to know!

thanks so much for these tunes there awesome!

especially the 111r tune its made me fall in love with elises again, they were always my favourite car to drive in gt3 and gt4 but in gt5 i just didn't like them, until now!

its a superb tune and the car is so responsive to drive. i pulled off a 7:45 on the nurburgring v with it! without engine mods! (i prefer to only put mods on that i can take back off again if needed, so no engine mods, it was 299hp)

also managed a 9:25 with the cappachino around the V as well, which i was quite suprised with given it was maxing out at 180km/h superb little car to drive and great tune!

like others have requested i would love a tune of the GSX-R or the fireblade, both awesome little cars to drive. keep up the great work!

This car was Tuned Online, all available mods are fitted, and car is running on Racing Soft tyres.

So, I finally had some time to sit down and do some tests, I loved the Nardo since I saw it in the UCD and was surprised how well it handled in stock form. i tossed on the only previous available tune, which was from... Deutshe Rennsport which worked great offline, and was decent online, and I had no complaints as I had nothing to compare to. I've been doing nothing but online racing for the last month (with exception for reviews in practice mode).

Today I was killing time in an online lounge by myself and had some time to play around with some settings and get some lap times. At first drive, this tune seemed a bit tight from center out, with average turn in, and also possessed a tendency to break loose on acceleration late exit. I've been spending a lot of time on Trial Mountain this week in preparation for the Tuner Challenge Championship, so this is where I continued to test.

I used a far more moderate power rating, as I've focused this car to my online needs, for 'street car' under 600hp. The final number is 587hp and this is by avoiding any Engine Stage tuning. I have plans to buy a second one when it shows up in the UCD to use for a max power rating, as I enjoy it that much.

So for this lower horsepower range, I countered the steering issues by adjusting the front sway bar to 3, upping the ride height to -35/-30 and changing the LSD to 15, 20, 5. (more fine tuning needed) This allows me to run 1:19.9's online (no corner cutting) which is pretty good for non RC under 600hp. I'd like the front of the car to have a bit better grip, and with some seat time and fine tuning, I think I could run low to mid 19's, but ultimately the cars weight is holding it back, which shows in maneuverability as well as braking ability. Overall the car is a great improvement over what I had, and very solid all around!

Thanks for the review Adrenaline...

I dont know what to say in regards to it running less BHP than my tune, I'm assuming with less power the car would be better suited to running a softer set up, with 850+ BHP she needs some taming lol

As you know I love strong turn-in on my cars, with this Nardo I generally fly into the corner, coast it as fast as possible then floor it out the corner with maybe a little wiggle of the hips lol

Try it with more power, I think you will be suprised! ;)

Thanks for the feedback

How much softer would you say? 20% all around?
I do plan to have the 850hp version once I can buy a second one from the UCD.
I put about 30 laps on the Zonda, around Trial Mountain, just not sure I can give a fair review yet. It's a hard car to judge, when it's so torque-ey and always on the ragged edge. My best lap so far is only a 1:17.1, with 775hp on the Zonda. Not so hot :(
I'll have to take it to Grand Valley or somewhere smoother for a fair review.

Hey mike, I was wondering if you could try tuning the Ruf Ctr2 for me. I fell in love with it as its a Porsche practically, but its 4wd and can't corner well at all.
Thanks.

hi all... just trying my evo rm that i have had sitting for some time, and gave these settings a go.... i found it to be much faster with the ayc insted of the lsd.... had ayc set at 80, and it removes nearly all understeer.. rest of the tune seem good to me! thanks.
