I will need a screenshot for "the shooter" too-- no hurry...

I'd grab the pizzaboy after you finish 'Tour'. When you finish you will be fairly close and at least pointed in the right direction. I'm thinking you have at least a shot at under 12 hours.

Also, I would think about doing taxi as you are looking for the hermes and phoenix. If you find them dump the taxi since you don't have to do your fares in a row (unless you have some other strategy).
 
Well, I'm currently at Starfish Island, so I'll grab the Phoenix from there. I'll trundle through Little Havana and nick any Hermes I spot, but leave the door open so it's there when I come back again.

The Tour idea is a nice one though... I'm hoping I can crack another 90 minute Taxi round too, so 11.xx IS possible, but I'm not 100% sure it's doable... :D

It's a Bank Holiday here on Monday, so if I don't break into 11 hours, I may have another go... That'd be 5 completed games in 6 days... :lol:
 
I don't get that...

I'd be interested to see what the fastest mathematically possible 100% time is -- including travel time etc.
 
I got 4:07 in the RC Raider Pickup but my digital camera is bust so I can't post a screenshot so you can just leave my time as it is. I'm trying to break 4 minutes. If someone looks like threatening my time it then I'll get a loan of a camera and post a pic.

Doubt it. I could only threaten your heli times, but not go far enough to beat 'em. You're a freak of VC racing, and I wish oil slicks on you! :lol:

I had a relatively poor Taxi performance - it wasn't helped by the first ten destinations being Ammu-Nation, Terminal, Ammu-Nation, Terminal, Ammu-Nation, Terminal, Ammu-Nation, Terminal, Howlin Pete's, Terminal...

But 11 hours 55 minutes isn't bad going... :D

(I sorted the camera problem out too, although it was still hit & miss. It's just too damn sensitive)

has anyone played 35-1/2 hours straight ? I know I cannot prove it, but I had a couple of buddies over and we did it, no breaks except the washroom, refrigerator and the door to accept pizza delivery ! Good times

Screenshot is much better--updating...

You might want to check your fastest hotring time (I see a 14.00). I still can't figure out the hotring, my best is 3:18-- 3:08 is insane. It means you averaged 15.66 seconds per lap. Thats no biggie but if you subtract of the 5 seconds it takes you get past the starting line it takes your average down to 15.25 seconds. My fastest lap is still 15.41 so you are averaged faster then my fastest lap.

While I was racing the Hotring, my girlfriend was on the internet, so I got her to check my fastest lap. I didn't beat it... :(

My first lap was a 17.90. I also set three 14.xx laps - quicker each time, obviously, since it doesn't give you any other lap times than "new record" ones - in a row, 14.95, 14.90 and 14.89. There was just no traffic and I didn't collect anyone at all.

I did manage a 3'04 race once, but this was before I knew about the record book, so I don't claim it as a record because I have no proof of it. You just have to be lucky when it comes to AI cars (in the aspect of not hitting them... :D)

Hey, I just did my second ever teleport superjump! :dopey: It happened the same way as the first one that I did. My bounce was better on this one, so I got a new height record: 531 meters! :sly: The first pic shows my jump with bounce and the next pic shows my stats! ;)

Copied from the superjump thread-- I guess the teleport gods were smiling.

I finally did some more superjumps yesterday-- I was getting some high and long ones but kept on landing in the water or blowing up.

Here is a pretty good high one.
A HIGH Phils Place Superjump 4 MB and 30 seconds

I got fed up blowing up some many times so I finally looked up the health cheat and used it on one- This was a teleport superjump-- I did use the health cheat after the first bounce when I caugh fire-- this caused me to de-morph but I did not fall off the bike til I landed-- I landed on the roof of a tall building or I would have set a rotation record I think--I ended up with just over 38000 degrees and I did beat my height record (by 3 meters) but they were after the cheat was put in so I'm not going to count it. I did tape it and here is the clip. I thought I'd include it since most of you haven't seen a teleport superjump yet-- sorry about the clarity--it was raining

Hmmm...never heard of that car--I'm thinking you are on PC and the handling was modded....

It keeps getting bumped up so I thought it doesn't need a sticky (so I haven't asked a mod to sticky it yet)-- I'll likely do so next month. I'm thinking there won't be many VC posts for a while after San Andreas comes out in 6 weeks, 25 hours, and 38 minutes from now---not that I'm counting.

By the way Spuds, I was debating whether I should put my superjump post on the Records thread or the Superjump thread. It fits in both categories. :boggled:
 
Hmm, I doubt a sticky is necessary for this thread, I mean I don't think I've ever seen it off the front page, plus SA will be out soon so there isn't much point getting it stickied.
 
Yes, and if you got this stickied, then you would have to get the GTA 3 Record Book Thread stickied. Then we'd have a damn sticky forum! :lol:
