Anyone got any times down for Indy? I can confirm one thing for you guys. Me and Storm may end up in another close scrap. We are currently less than .15 seconds apart.

 As always, it seems, now. Honestly, I couldn't fit a hair between you two, in terms of capability, in those Mazdas now.

Anyways, regardless of the results of the investigations etc., from Nürburgring, keep it clean, all of you.

Can I at least punt Storm? Just once or twice? :dopey:

Running wide at Turn 6 there is the yellow lines => that will spin your Tires soo hard
=> better not touch them :D

Did no testing here will do it tonight or if I´m too tired just hope my Q won´t be too bad here (Topend adjusting only)

Oh yeaaah, that's a thought, I forgot about Turn 6. I subconsciously avoid that now because of that; its like driving on sheet ice.

Hey guys long time no see, I haven't got the Internet up in my new house yet, well not even a house phone yet, I hope to be mixing it up with you guys soon again, btw, lancer can use my car in jarmo till further notice, I hate not having the net grrrrrr

Lol stupid iPad auto spell, in spewing because the Indy rd course is like my second testing home, so I would have been crazy strong here, this sucks gigantic ...... That are hairy and crusty!

I suck at American tracks ... and this looks like it's going to be an American weekend ... oh the joy ...

So that means Jormo's hopes and dreams ly on my shoulders now ... :nervous:

Pressures on, man up son lol, if you want you can ask overkiller 63 to take my spot, but you would have to give him the car specs tonight, I was going to clone him mine if you couldn't make a race but evo was gonna do it instead

Not quite. It's easy to make up points with make-up races. Polarbear will miss 2+ weekends... I'm not worried. I'll have to miss one, but, I'm still not worried.

Best I get a satelite and create my own internet lol, how many make up races?

There are three. You've missed one, so far, correct? Then, in that case, you can miss tomorrow, and (because of Lancer) two more weeks.

That means, that, at the end of the season, you can:

If you miss tomorrow, attend one make-up round.

If you miss tomorrow & next week, attend two make-up round.

If you miss the next three weeks, attend three make-up round.

Do you see, how I'm saying that you're not really too far down in points, yet? Considering Lancer drove for you @ Nürburgring, you can easily still miss three weeks, and bounce back in Make-Up Races. :)

Only did like 3 laps or so which actually where crash free or free of almost falling asleep.

=> Best Time so far is: 1:39.547

(The Turn after the double hairpin turn combo can be cutted to gain 0.3ish seconds so that is a spot to be viewed for stewarding)

It's allowed, to use that slight kerbing. I encourage it, as it allows for better flow through the rest of the track.

They do it in real life, plus it's easier to check. They also cut turn 1 but we can't because of the tire barrier.

Yes. Take the outside of the tire barrier. Braking early enough to pass on the other side will cause crashes.

As for the concrete section before the return to banking: DON'T TOUCH GRASS! If you touch grass, and we catch you, that'll be a penalty.

Hope it was because I used it due to Mel allowing it :D

Races where good.
R1:
Almost won but before I took out Damu at first Turn last lap I aimed for the Tire Barrier
=> easy win for Damu and I kept infront of Storm.

At the beginning I touched both but I haven´t had the chance to avoid those touches.
Had some great racing but can´t remember who but thanks for that 👍

R2:
Was great too but on Lap 1 or 2 Last real Turn (banked one isn´t a Turn for me, although it is) damu slightly touched me which made me sent Mel into the Sand.
I waited and lost the Race but I felt better :D
At the end I had 8 or 9 seconds gap to winner (Damu) and had a Superb Battle with cnd01 👍
This although killed my route to Seth and becoming 3rd.
After my pitstop I did a 38.8 followed by a 38.3 but than cnd crossed my way. At that point I was gaining 2 seconds per lap to the leader but the Duel killed my rhythem and my Tires => 4th in the end but was great race.

R3(sprint):
Started chaotic with restart (don´t really know the reason) but I made an god-mode safety during the first Turns :D

Restart and Race went on much better than at last Track 👍
Apart from an unlucky situation at last lap T3 with cnd. This caused Storm to catch us and take the lead.
I fought myself to his draft and passed him before banked curve, but his Turbo-Rotary was 0.026 seconds faster (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!)
=> me again only 2nd *Yeah another Podium w00t w00t*

Critics:

Everybody should clear their cache and rest their Routers before they enter the Lounge !!
I have an average connection but above makes sure you have a stable connection.
I sufferd again from ones that didn´t do this routine (maybe they have better connections and don´t care for others) and had to do it twice (before entering and before race).
In addition why do we have to race in ITCC_Div1 Lounge and not in yours Mel ??
(Another Friend with things to be loaded => fills up cache => brakes connection etc.)

So if your already in GT5:
1. clear cache
2. shut down PS3
3. Router Reset
4. Turn on PS3
5. sign in PSN and go to game etc.

If not in GT5:
1. Turn on PS3
2. enter game and clear cache
after that do above Routine

This will give you the best possible connection.
(But I do have to add that I may need a new Router which will give me a better connection.)

Everybody should clear their cache and reset their Routers before they enter the Lounge !!

The last time I reset my router (twice after a dc), was the Clubman weekend. After which my internet refused to work at all. The forums 5 minutes to load (no I wasn't using internet explorer), let alone anything else. I think there's something deeper to my connection issues, but the router was given to us in May, after the old one burnt out. But yeah, last time I took these precautions, my internet got worse :scared:

In Rolex, even after doing these things, Storm had major connection issues. I dc'ed as did MrM. And people say that online games aren't about who has the best connection :sly:
