Yeah I know but in the FGTC Series I competed in for 3 Seasons or so everybody did this routine and espacially ME hadn´t suffered from any issues there (just some who had very bad internet and knew it or where wireless connected)

=> I think it should be done

But in the same place I had some races where I haven´t done it and also had no issues.

====> It´s just GT5. And we can´t force someone to do it (although clearing cache should be done !!)

Trying to find a CSR Elite on ebay is near impossible! they must be a 🤬 good wheel since no one is selling one?

Regardless of what you do for thos d/c´s nobaody can do anything about it.
It suddenly happens.
Next time I try without doing anything maybe it works, because it worked for me at the beginning too => never change a winning Team :D:D:D

€dit: I hope you guys know I rant against GT5 and PD and not against anyone of you 👍

OP updated.

Next track= Tokyo R246
Laps=7+1 & 4+1
Lap times= approx. 1:56, I believe
Points=updated shortly (tomorrow/today, depending on when you read this.)

Looks short to me but I like the Reverse Layout too so I´m there anyway. Hope to do decent again (although my GT86 is a little scared of the Main Straight)

Not sure how it will pan out this week. Watching the replays from Indy, I don't think it was power that won it for the LLama's, but an extremely talented professor. Scratch that, it was probably for back end slip turning and even tyre wear. Or maybe just me and Storm practicing enough. Although, I had changed the camber and toe angles drastically for Indy.

The RX7 is fast on the straights because of turbo power, good around turns because of it's weight balance, and has good tire wear. It's probably the most balanced car there is. The GT86 is good, but it's weight balance is more forward. It's not the best on the straights because it lacks the turbo option, but it does have good handling and braking.

I was running camber and toe angle similar to an F1 car for Indy. Though, I could run less and still get similar times, I was trying to get the tyre wear to kill the tyres at the same rate as FFs lose their front tyres.

I went the opposite, I never touched 38's in qualifying, but I stayed consistent during the race with the tires. Even placed ahead of Sakery who qualified higher up than me. A tradeoff seems to happen, but the RX7's are sneaky fast. I ran them before in a tuner showdown that we won't go into details about.

The whole series does come down to pace: the strategy is all about finding pace.

Honestly, the main thing, is that you need to avoid being held up, while you're on softs, but have draft while on mediums. How you manage that, is the only strategy. If you have to pit twice, I commend you, you're overly aggressive as a driver, and this series won't award you anything for that.

Update: currently updating points (finally.)

Further update: GOOD NEWS! No further action, regarding any and all penalties.

Let's keep this momentum going, for the next half of the season.

An investigation will be launched, to see who's won by the biggest margins, who's made up the most places in a race, etc., in order to announce the halfway-leaders, for the Performance Awards. :)

Current Performance Awards:

This is a mid-season status report, not official/final standings.

Best Average Finish-damuemogirl

Most wins-(3)(tie) Sakery & Johnnypenso

Most poles-(2) Johnnypenso

Most positions gained in a race-Johnnypenso

Biggest Margin of Victory-currently unknown

Current Sportsmanship Awards:

Sportsmanship Award nominees:

Well, I just checked my PSN and everything. No messages there. Would you mind telling me how I didn't win the 2nd race (in cruise control, as I knew storm was on mediums)?

As for the turbo, when I watched the replay, I didn't seem to have that much pace on Sakery. Then, I'm taking into account of my deliberate use of the banking, as an extra few mph. I know the tyre wear's definite though. I also have a decent ballast to help balance the tyre wear.

In preparation, I reversed the toe angle, took rear camber off and put front camber on. I didn't hit the 3's on camber.

Everyone used two compounds. Replay confirms this. If you have any other concerns, PM's are best, please. :) I'll do my best to find all of the problems.

Honestly, I'm proud of and happy about the results this weekend. Sure, I didn't do as well as I thought I would, but, at the same time, there was minimal contact, and absolutely incredibly close racing.

It won't be hard to make a video of all of that, and some other photos and such I've been saving for a Season II teaser trailer. Believe me, I've gotten some of the best shots imaginable, (in my opinion) for a teaser trailer, to draw people in.

I was just saying that I knew what strategy Storm was on, from Skype. It's why I didn't push harder to get a huge lead. But Storm was 2nd in the race, yet got 33 points.

As for videos, wait until I get enough free time to make a video. Might even help if I collaborate with Storm, but we've got some incredible content to work with.

Biggest Margin of Victory: Me leading the CSR5 Race1 with about 12 seconds if I racall correctly. (can´t think of a Race with bigger gap in which I took part.)

I like the Sportsman Trophy won´t vote due to me being part of the possible candidates.

I´m soooo wanting to see your Movie Mel:drool::drool:
Hope you got me passings at Indy which I´m proud of (also the final Turn Nürb pass I did to you :D):)

@Damu: Well due to the N/A layout of the 86GT you have to run lower gear ratios, because the Topend isn´t soo great.
Your Turbo doesn´t need that (at least I tested the RX7 and it was the fastest for me apart from some FF´s) and so your a tiny bit faster.
That is how I piece things together :D

I had at least 13 in the Nurburgring race 2.

Yeah, having skype for races is good for relaying quick information, when mics are disabled in-game.

Ok, so here's what MY points should be:
Race 1 - 3rd - 29 pts
Race 2 - 2nd - 31 pts
Race 3 - 1st - 33 pts.

To be honest, I think I could work without the turbo on the Mazda. Maybe I'll do that for Saturday's race.

What? My points are incorrect?

Me either :D
No clue what is good and what isn´t.
For me:
Topspeed adjustment and flooring the Throtle for Q and hope the best 👍
