W.M.A. Karts! Rd. 4 - Monaco!

Looks good! I've been trying to find a kart championship for a while now. It'll make a nice change from racing cars.

Sweet! :) Welcome to the series!

I'm checking the Google docs shortly.

Edit: update= everyone who's registered is now in second post, updated. People who registered for 100s have been bumped to 125s. However, if you request, I'll bump those who signed up for 100s down to Jrs, instead. This comes as a result of the cancellation of the 100s class.

Signed up for Jr's... Not sure how many races I'll make due to working two jobs, but I'll attend as many as possible. 👍

What time is it in Eastern? We're on Daylight (GMT-4), not standard. Please clarify the times.

2 P.M.

I mean, that I'm not accounting for the Daylight savings, when I say that, as that's where 99% of the confusion comes from. What you see on your clock, is when the race starts. I'm not worrying about Daylight savings/seasonal time changes.

Therefore, 14:00 PM GMT-4 (daylight savings time included)
Therefore, 14:00 PM GMT-5 (daylight savings time not included)

For making it easy, I'll make a countdown timer, and put it in the OP.

Not necessarily. The room will be an open lobby type, and will be hosted by me.

As it stands, we don't have W.M.A. dedicated lounges, and I don't know if I have room on my Friend's lists for all of you (from D1SL, Star Mazda, karting etc.) so it'll be difficult.

So you will add the room number once it opens right ? :)

Will be nice to driving with you again mate :)

You too. 👍

I haven't raced properly for 5 months, so I am refreshed:sly:

But also, my Jnr kart isn't broken in, only 65km on it LOL.:nervous:

Yeah.

Firstly: I need thoughts. This first preseason test, in which we tested the rules and such; did it work? Barring my stupidity (part 2 of this post,) did everyone have fun?

Secondly: I'm sorry for driving like a retard. It was way harder to pass Jr. karts, than the Jr.s realize, after the gearing change. The Jr.s handle better (slightly) and so, can take the corners about 3 or 4 km/h faster than the 125s.
So, I tried to push the speed through the corners, and it didn't work.

I think it went well, the rolling starts will get better with time but to be honest in the second race i think it was fine. Also the Jr. Kart drivers need to make sure they're giving us 125 drivers enough room to pass.

Well, expect a full revision of the rules, and an "if you do not read these rules, and fully understand them, your position in the series will be put on hold, until you DO read and understand them" disclaimer.

I'll be conducting tests with the other W.M.A. Stewards, just to find out which rules work, for which types of corners etc. AND next week's course will have less elevation change, allowing for better control of the karts.

I'm hoping to include more straights, next week, and tighter corners, to make driving in clean air more challenging, and making passing easier.
