I'll be watching the race, another motorsport packed weekend it seems. 👍

Were going down in the Audi again this year.

That's so cool, I hope to go next year. It'll be my first Le Mans if I do, after all these years of waiting. I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

Glad to see another Audi supporter too. :P

Does anybody know when the race will be starting in Eastern Standard Time?

That'll be 07:00am for you sir.

Rebellions 1st and 3rd in Practice 3, OAK Racing #24 1st in LMP2, and Aston Martin fastest in both GTE classes.

You should go, well actually you need to go ;) this will be my 4th time and I still get rediculously excited thinking about it. No matter how good you think Le Mans is, I can guarantee it will be better, and Audi all the way 👍

Back on topic of the race, I'm just hoping it stays dry. So much better seeing the cars going flat out.

Also is there any video coverage of qualifying? If I remember correctly there was last year.

Thats the WEC's new qualifying system, in all honesty I've never been so confused listening to a qualifying session.

WOW, even the drivers are confused!

Toyota lock out the front row, Delta-ADR P2 pole, and Aston take both GTE poles.

Pretty exciting stuff from listening to Radio Le Mans, if a little confusing...

Kind of wishing I'd gone for today now as well, wanted to snap some pics of the Ecurre Ecosse Z4, and the DKR Lola.

I'm only a few miles from Silverstone, we've barely even had a light shower!

So, what the difference between WEC and ELMS? I'm confuseded.

Audis and Toyotas? But seriously, I'm not quite sure myself. Maybe the length of the races and configuration...seems ELMS is much more similar to ALMS in class structure now. No P1s and challenge classes. They don't have many tracks on their schedule, either.

Wouldn't be surprised if they red flagged it. Is there a point continuing if the weather doesn't plan on clearing up?

ELMS is European circuits only, Classes are P2, PC, GTE, GTC (instead of P1, P2, GTE Pro, GTE AM) and I think (not certain) more classes require amateur drivers too.
