Wed 20:30-21:30 UK Time - CLOSED - Suspended until further noticePS4

I finished fourth, 0,5 secons behind @Dimse91 , but in the table I got bronse somehow :)
I’m starting to think that whatever Bob does in the cool-down lap gets reflected in the final results.

It happened last week and apparently this week too.

If your autopilot overtakes someone when you have finished and not in control affects your final position. I think the gaps gets affected too if he is faster/slower than the autopilot in front.

Edit: just for future reference. The table you attach shows the gap of the guys in front of you when you (@AndreasR) crossed the line. My gap to P1 was something between 1 and 2 seconds. Those 12 seconds appear to be my gap to P1 when you finished. Bob seemed to drive rather slowly when he took control after the race.

The app I´m using is meant as dashboard and has no possibility to show an official end result. I´m publishing it to make it easier for
@Sick Cylinder to publish his official result table, but I suppose he uses his own replay too to verify the results and nevertheless it helps a lot if there is any doubt from anybody, when there are comments like the above so Sick can have a quick look.
The gap is titeled as "live gap" and is useful during the race. The thing is to make the screenshot of the table I have to wait until the last opponent have crossed the finish line but also early enough that no one of the first ones is leaving the room because then he would disappear on the list.

About the car I don´t know why, but I never felt comfortable with it - maybe it´s because I´m using the wrong settings for my T500 wheel - even when I tried several. Nevertheless there will be a new challenge soon and hopefully that car and equipment suites better for me.

Congrat to the deserved winner @Friday_GTRP.

See you soon on track

Cheers

Congratulations to Champion Driver Friday_GTRP and Vice-Champion DD84UK

Licenses may be used in some future championships for car choice in multi-class races - Pro drivers typically competing in slightly slower cars than Am rated drivers. License rating will be re-assessed after each championship, but Pro+ remains as a mark of a championship winner in either the Monday or Wednesday series.

Note we have spaces for new drivers in our next Wednesday Championship - BMW M1 Procar - and our current Monday Historic Championship - "1950's The Career" - to sign up for either series send a friend request to Sick_Cylinder2 and post a comment in the Monday or Wednesday thread.

it was strange thing yesterday. I used virtual back view mirror in qually, but it disappeared in race. Used HUD view button, but mirror won't get back. it was bug or something I did wrong? Stock mirror is awful in this car - I saw only half of it.

One of the meny bugs in the game mate. You have to go into options, visual effects and flick it off and back on. If it happens in at the start of the race your stuck without it. You can adjust your field of view in the options screen so you see more of the in car mirror.

EDIT: I was wrong In the race if you flick through the camera views the mirror comes back. But will go again if you check the telemetry screen. Forceing you to cycle through the views again.

I drove for the first time yesterday the M1 Procar. Quite a change! Feels easy to drive initially but hard to get the maximum performance out of it. I think however that times will be closer between drivers than in the 911.

Do we know where will the first race take place?

Also, I would like to ask for livery No.27, if possible.

Page one post six has the schedule.
Thanks mate. I had checked the first page but just the first post.

I am excited. Looks like an interesting schedule of races and doesn’t clash with my holidays.

By the way, kudos to @Sick Cylinder for all the effort and time put into these championships. Mirroring reality adds to the excitement and the info about the real championship is a bonus. Keep the good work mate!

Hello,

Sorry, i won't be able to join tonight ! Have plenty of work ! Good luck everyone and have a nice race :)

Thanks for letting me know Dimse91 - hopefully you can join us next week!

btw, how can I invite more than 8 friends?

Send more than one invitation!

Anyone want to drop out of the M1 championship? would love to join if I could take someone's space...

There were spaces available for the last few rounds of the previous series so I am sure there will be spaces. I will delete those names from the list who haven't attended for a while or reduce them to reserve status. As a regular in the Monday series you will have a guaranteed slot in the Wednesday series.

@Napalm_LT sorry for the shunt early on, I was having awful trouble with the brakes locking up - was anyone else? For me the M1 is borderline undriveable on pad with the default settings, so I think I might sit this championship out, at least until I get a wheel in a couple of weeks!

As we can’t close the air openings for the brakes, they run quite cold, especially the rear ones on this car. That makes the tires lock up when under heavy braking. Not much we can do except being careful, especially in the transition in between gears when downshifting. I imagine that’s very hard on a game pad.

Which wheel are you buying?

Is anyone interested on me posting a lap with this car in the next track so you can check brake points and driving approach? I don’t mind doing it if someone finds it useful.

Car seems to be a bit more lively, than what it was in first game. Good race with Sick, until we made a mistake I like Zolder.

I think you have too be carefull, braking with all the old cars, joe.

I think I braked a bit to early to the second corner and probably this was fault of both of us. The second one I misunderstood - thought you want to give back a position, because you slowed a lot in the straight, but right before me you returned to racing line and I rode in to you at full speed ...

@IBZ6L20VT It was more that it felt like 100% brake pressure was being applied within the first 20% of the shoulder button travel, so with such a small window between no braking and locking up it felt impossible to modulate. Would have been easy to tune out with brake pressure/bias tweaks but that's the downside of running standard setups. I'll be getting a T300 with 599XX rim in the next month or so, but until then I'll try not to be a workman who blames his tools!

@John Wells It wasn't an old car thing as they're the only cars I race (I find moderns boring), I've not encountered these issues with the 300 SL or Agajanian we've been racing on Mondays. But like you said the M1 is a lot more lively than in PC1, just like it should be! I had a passenger lap around the Ring with an ex-works driver a couple of years ago, vid below. That sound!

I'll just give you space to overtake more naturally if it happens again. Sorry again
