That was an all action start to the race!
@richroo good start bad start! Nice air time. I'll look up the phone number for autoglass.
The view is what you feel comfortable with really.
Oh and I use the spotter option constantly. He tells you where all the surrounding cars are. I combine this with the proximity arrows so I'll never have a crash again. Well until the next one that is.![Smile :) :)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/smile.svg?v=3)
(I actually tried a few starts at Silverstone against the AI and the spotter was surprisingly quite accurate in pinpointing the cars on both sides of me. It didn't stop them from crashing into me though!)
Hi @Harsk100 Good to see you, it's been awhile. 👍

For me I found it to be the opposite. Using my monitor and distance the site I tried gave me a setting of 44. I tried this out but found it to be that close to the wheel it might have well been the bonnet view. I adjusted the view until I resulted in the settings above. For me it gives a great sense of immersion and has actually made the cars easier to drive since it feels less claustrophobic and more life like. As for faster... not sure but probably more consistent. If you are sitting further away I would think it might need narrowing somewhat.I read somewhere only that you’re supposed to be slower if you set a wider angle than the one proved by those tools....didn’t understand if it’s true though
