Ok, regarding all these questions...
Any sort of cone or road sign knocked over does not matter as long as you still keep within the rules of "2 wheels on" at all times. 👍
Regarding this...
No.
The dark tarmac on the right is not part of the useable track.
If you keep 2 wheels on the lighter stuff you are straight.
However, going 3 or 4 wheels into the dark area of the track where the braking signs are posted is not allowed.
If you wonder why this has not been addressed yet look back at the thread- I don't think anyone asked about it yet.
Just as you assumed that area was legal, many others assumed it was not.
The braking signs should have been a good indicator...
When do they ever put braking signs on the inside of the track?
Stick with 2 wheels on the real track. 👍
Don't hesitate to ask about other areas as well.
Also, just for the record, generally speaking I stick with the traditional idea of what a track includes.
The license test run in the Bentley at Sarthe was a bad example of what I consider to be proper racing.
The Super Bird run at infineon ST was a good example, remember that back stretch. 👍
It's not always about whether or not pavement is there, it's also about the lines on the track.
I hope that clears it up some but if not I will come back and do my best to address any confusion.
Also, like I said, don't hesitate to ask anything.
