Yeah Iceman, its been down pretty much all month, I may as well tell everyone...lol. I have been battling it out with my hosting company trying to just get NORMAL SERVICE but everytime I try to email them.....I get the "Mailer-Daemon" crap.....now what is TRULY strange in my book is that I can SOMEHOW still upload all my files thru WS FTP.....WHAT!?!??! Thats right, so everything is done up to last week (except for Veil's NEW minolts and the 'Ring). So sorry guys, but this one is out of my control.

The problem is that when the console sits at 'loading' and then does nowt after that, the only solution is to turn it off and re-boot!

What are you so worried about Hot?? You'll get that lap back no problem! J/K, that sucks man, I'm sure it's not all that easy for you to repeat, just like the rest of us 
. We just have to repeat at slower times.
But what's this I see, you're switching over to the GT??? Thought you said the Viper was going to win out the week??

new splits today...
didn´t run with my chevys, i´m pretty sure it will be a major task to make them match some "just good" times from the GT and the VIPER. anyway, some 20 laps with both the Ford GT and the Dodge Viper:
FORD GT:
T1: 18´185
T2: 35´343
T3: 53´610
VIPER ORECA:
T1: 18´145
T2: 35´129
T3: 53´273
altough there´s some difference among those splits, i feel that the viper is closer to the limit, while the GT still have ways to go... i think i messed up the corkscrew with the viper, otherwise, could be in the high 52´9xx... also some mistakes in the first section with both, so by the end of the week i´m hoping to break a second barrier that if i do, would give me a good position in the standings... after what i saw last night and tonight, i´m pretty sure that at least 2 cars can be competitive this week.

The only problem with this lap, is that even if I beat the T3, I probably won't beat that T2-T3 split. It was freakin' awesome!

Top Speed @ 280
T1 - :18.338 (18.2)
T2 - :35.352 (35.4)

Hmm... What's this? The GT is competitive? Hmm... Then I think I may toss in the towel on my lower HP car and hop into the faster one... Yep, you heard right, I'm ditching my 588hp Viper for my 599hp one because the GT can compete!

I just had a quick 30 minute session with the Viper. No improvement for me tonight, but I have seen a couple of 18.2xx's, 18.1xx's, and a 35.2xx. So I know I can lower my time further than the one I have already.
My goal for the end of the week would be to get below 53 seconds at T3.
I would also like to try out the GT, to see if I can get something out of it, but I can't seem to be able to find a good Top Speed Setting. In the Viper I have been using 280.
Care to share your settings, hOt6o4bOi? (for both cars, if that isn't asking too much

Also, are you completely ditching the Viper for the GT, or are you just trying to push them both to their limit and see which one gets lower times?

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I ran some laps with this combo today.
First time I've touched it since sunday and monday, but it was fun none the less.
Ran the Camaro at first and didn't see too much of a contender in it.
The gearing was great when I topped out 5th on the opening straight but the turning under accel was just too bad for me to stick around and work on it.
After a few minutes of struggling with sharp turn-in on braking and poor handling on the exits I just figured I would be better off running the viper, vette, and GT tomorrow.
Maybe the Camaro will get a chance again after a few other cars have their chance but for now I feel like the Camaro is going to take its place under the car cover and stay there for quite some time.
The GT and Viper on the other hand.
Heck, maybe I will just run the vette to see how I can do with it.
Of course, as usual, for my "various reasons" I will not be including any of my work in the official results.
And so, no need to worry about my t times.
Not like I would be competitive anyway.
Till the morning, (3:40am here)

Now I know my T-times are a bit weak at the moment, but I have a full, free weekend to play, so I am not too worried at the moment.
I decided to run the GT instead of the Viper as I thought I would be different, but it looks like quite a few of you have moved over to the Ford. This will make for some great racing this week. 👍

Wow. Incredible T2 -> T3! I had a 34.9 working at T2 earlier, but trashed it braking too late for the skrew. Ah well, I see now it's time for me to hop in the car again. Great times.. hopefully this red bull I'm drinking will give me the wings I need to catch up. heh

Farout you guys are quick!!!!!!!!! I'm busting a gut and have only managed to break 0'54 at T3 a handful of times...sigh...here are my new splits:

I didn't finish as fast as I could either...I think I've worked out why I'm so slow from T1 - T2 but fixing it isn't easy for me.

Did you do the qualifier in first gear or something?!? For real Lewie, that time is Div 1 worthy
@Weary: I submitted my qual lap without really trying. I didn't think it would be this competitive. Needless to say, I've started trying and really improved my driving at the same time.
@Androos. Yeah, that lap time is still w/ aids on and in auto. I'm only running T3's of 54.1's w/ aids off and in auto. (manual is too much for now, I'm still trying to learn my DFP at the same time.)
