Not a bad bunch. Haven't driven any of the SF cars yet so not sure how that'll go for me. The American 700 chose is the worst of that set as Bathurst seems to have a C8 that just disappears from the rest of the field, not uncommon for it to be like 40 seconds ahead of the next car.

The 6 star is always appreciated as it gives some great high value cars, Thought it was a million and up but seems like it might be 750k or up as the last one I got gave me an 800k car

I agree but I also don’t, a lot of the events allow you to use these cars you mentioned, I used the s600 at broad bean the other day.
The event doesn’t have to be a specialised one make or category for you to use it, you could probably use the s600 for the second event of these new ones, some of the Italian cars could be used for the first
You are right, and I did use the S600 at BB last week too, but I would be a lot more excited about that race being a selection of older small cars. As it was, you're in a pretty little roadster flying around a Fit, some Priuses and other pedestrian competition. I'd like to see some "Classic Japanese Roadster", "Modified Kei car", "Detroit Muscle Car Challenge" and the like... more specificity that favors cars that aren't used often because they aren't competitive against the best cars in their PP range, or something... I could just be whining and not making any sense either. Who knows!

I guess I may be asking for the moon here, because this would require selecting a batch of cars that would be eligible for a race outside of just PP point standings. They could do something like they have been doing lately in the Dailies and select a group of cars that you can choose from which would make for a much more "realistic" mix of cars.

Regardless, I always have fun with each new batch of races and this week won't be any different. I'm stoked there's a reason to use the SF cars this week. In VR they are just next level fun.

What about the last Nations Cup race? No track or car listed. What is the new track? That is the main thing.
You've landed in the wrong thread for that.

We brought it up back in December when the current Exhibition Season was announced, as you'll see in this article:

However, we don't know that there is a new track; it may be a new car and it may be nothing at all.

Nonetheless, it's a discussion best-placed in another thread as this one is for the Weekly Challenges. Perhaps the GT World Series thread (to which the above article links) or the January update prediction thread - as there's no specific thread for the update we're expecting but which has yet to be properly confirmed:

The GT by Citroen is an invitation required car.

A nice reward in my opinion 😃
Sold that joint. It’s an important car in Gran Turismo’s history, but I still haven’t warmed to its design. The Gr.3 and Gr.4, in black & yellow color combo, looks fine though.

I like the 6 star car tickets, usually give something interesting or valuable to sell. Races this week are alright, Super Formula is easy with the SF19 on RS/RS, was 30 seconds up the road without too much effort. The field in the 700PP American race is a little weird because the C8 is much quicker than the rest and even the C7 will be a decent distance ahead of the others, used the fully modified Tesla I had from a few weeks ago. I'd prefer if they kept giving us the 6 star tickets and perhaps try to give us a unique race every week too.

Tried my Escudo for the 3rd event but I might have ruined its settings with 600PP tuning from @Pizzapants, it takes years to accelerate, which in this very curvy track is not ideal.

Any hint of an easy car to win this event (I am not a fan of rally or rally-cross), can't remember with which car I did this event previously.

Thanks.

Last time out I used the celica rally car with mid or high rpm turbo (can’t remember what the biggest available is for this car!) and that made it very easy

ah yes that was this car I used, I remember now, thanks ! finished 2nd but that will do !

[Edit]Done and dusted, even finished 1st ! Which is an improvement for the completion of events. I need to do the WTC600 event on this track and finish 1st too.

Again with this car I also got this car in my last 6* car ticket stuff.

Is this the scratched version or does that not exist in GT7?

Ok, I am that guy that puts on a rear wing on the Miura and likes it, so who am I to judge...

But WTF did you do to the S Barker Tourer...???

There should be law against doing somethig like that!

BTW I guess no six star ticket for me this week...Top 3 in a Super Formula car will be quite a challenge for me...

It's the Falken S Barker Tourer with the Drift package complete with livery 🤣

The 6* car ticket saved the day! The Daily Workout 3* gave me a disappointing 5,000 credits along with a weekly challenge haul of 850,200, I was feeling very underwhelmed. To my great surprise, the 6* car ticket was an Invitation car that I have been waiting for: Enzo Ferrari '02 valued at 2.5 million credits. That is more like it! :D

The Raptor. In real life my very similar F-150 makes short work of the rice burners. It stood to reason the same would hold true in game, and it did, even at the highest difficulty. I have the gears set to minimum for this pain in the rear course.

The Citroen GT is a great car if you can get hold of it while working through the menu books. It'll decimate several of them.

If you think that S Barker Tourer is outrageous, please join me in the Nations Cup this weekend. I grabbed a shiny new SF 23 and went out of my way to create the most garish, disturbing, G rated paint job I could come up with.

Here's what I used this week.

Only made modifications to the Supra and GT which consisted of Sport Soft tires. The SF23 used a tune from @praiano63 using RS tires and allowed me to get through the race without pitting.

Surprised by the Bathurst race, though. The C8 finished 20 seconds ahead of me! I'll have to revisit this race later.

I hate F1 races but nothing compares to that " insult " Barcelona layout .🤐
.
I loved it!

Hated that track before, but with my latest custom grid I just did a 40 minute race there a few days ago...so I knew it really well
And that helps a lot.
It always does help, when you know the track really good, but even more on this one. The first times I drove there, it felt like a maze and I never knew where I was and where to go, although it is such a short track...

And I could use my rally tuned Lancia Delta there(you can use road cars there although it's named something with Group B in it...) and it really rocked that show...
I like all of the new weeklies(for different reasons), except the F1 one...

I also received a VGT in my car ticket. The Honda one. Probably won't use it, but it saved me 1M credits for the collection.

Meh.
I think that Honda is one of the only VGT cars I've been able to find that is a good car for Tokyo. Most of them are too slow on the straights or have way too much PP and cant be tuned down low enough. Of course the Aston Martin VGT is the best for Tokyo, but that Honda was a fun car.

My god I just hate that C8. It shouldn't be that freaking fast. I mean I know it can be very fast. But not like that.

That's why I use RM tires on that race and ram that thing to oblivion once I catch it.
