Hilarious. The amount of people using the Swift for Race 1. Personally I used the 2007 model, what a fun car to drive!
I tried the Honda Fit on my main account. Best I could do was 2nd place in it. Tried the Sierra Cosworth on race 2. Couldn’t get better than 5th so I switched to a Camaro. Easy win.

I also used my 800pp tuned SC430 Gr.2 car for a no stop at Trial Mountain. Got 3rd in it.

Did the races 4-5, got the ticket and carbon shaft worth 30k from it :(

I started from the hardest race down to the easiest. I used the Valkyrie at Trial Mountain and came in 2nd. I used poor strategy. I tried to make my tires last one lap too many and a bad spin cause to 2or 3 place at the time. I was able to get myself in 1st place going into the final turn but was overly aggressive in getting into 1st so I wasn't able to brake in time and lost 1st. I took a detuned Living Legend to the Ring because I have been using the 992 a lot lately. Got a Hyundai VGT from the 5 ⭐🎟️

Anyone do the events this week but not get their tickets in their garage? Any solution?

I did all 5 across 2 days but got no tickets for completing 1, 3 or 5 of the events.

It is a well known issue, some players encounter it, others don't. No solution yet. PD does not care apparently.

i Wouldn’t say they don’t care! As far as I remember, @Famine said they area aware of the issue but are unsure what’s causing it. If they don’t know the cause how do you expect them to fix it?!

How long is this issue ongoing ? Weeks or even months. That's why I say they apparently don't care. They were much faster to fix last money glitch...

Turns out that fixing a defined glitch with a cause so obvious that it's in a GTPlanet article is easier than fixing an intermittent one that PD itself can't identify a cause for yet.

Who knew?

I find this glitch fascinating.

I think it's quite a small minority of players who experience it. However, it's common enough that every week someone comes in and asks about it or starts a new thread about it.

Also interesting how inconsistent it is among the players that experience the issue only once or all the time.

Makes me wonder if PD simply hasn't been able to replicate the problem from their end. I don't know if they have the capability to inspect an affected player's build of the game.

You have insights proving they are working on it ? It's been nearly 3 months now...

You won't convince easily me that they give the same attention to bugs that plague players' enjoyment than to bugs that give players ways to overcome the bad economy.

It's not like if this bug is the only one or the older one. Forum is riddled with bug threads.

I have not experienced any issue to date across 3 separate accounts (2 NA and 1 EMEA) so I wonder if this is a PD (game) issue or individual load issue.

Completed 1 - 4 so far (only just completed the RB X2019 menu book last night) and used:

Japanese FF Challenge - Honda Civic Type R '20 - Love this car, but definitely too easy to win with this!
American Clubman Cup - Chevrolet Corvette C8 '20 - had an unused one in my garage, so I gave it a run. Too easy. Won by miles.
Radical Event - Radical... Pretty easy...
Scwartzwald League - Porsche Cayman GT4 '16 - on RS tyres at approx. 640PP this thing just cleans up! Had a completely clear weather run, so it was pretty simple stuff.

I'll probably use the 787B for the WTC900 event. I've recently given mine a livery based on the Hot Wheels car my boy brought home the other day, so it needs a race to break in the livery!

You probably don't need to use a Gr.1 car for the WTC 900 Event. I just dropped a high rpm turbo in my Gr.2 GTR and used RM tires. Just pit at the end of lap 5. Won on Hard difficulty by about 8 seconds. I am by no means a quick driver, usually only able to barely get silver in the online time trials.

I have 3 active accounts on my PS5 - My main, my alt, and my 8 year old son’s account. Each one has had the issue once. My 8 year old son’s turn was this week. Trying to explain a game “glitch” to an 8 year old was fun…

I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just a random thing.

You're probably right, but I used it anyway and won by 0.45s in the end! No stop, fuel-saving the whole way. Easy drive, but felt wrong short-shifting that glorious R26B engine!!

This was pretty fun. The Honda in stock form absolutely destroys the grid and I didn't even push super hard.

The other events were just grinding more or less. I do enjoy the 992 at the Ring but that's old hat by now. The Radical is always a hoot (I know it's polarizing here) and I don't detune mine too match the pp suggestion because mine runs the way I would have one run if I had one so... yeah. 😂😂😂

Did the WTC 900 today in a stock RS5 DTM on RS. I did it once using a one-stop on RM coming in second, and no-stopping on RH then finally winning with a one-stop RS combo. We're in the middle of an ice storm right now, and power outages kept cutting my races off and adding some frustration to the day, haha.

Ultimately it was super fun race. The RS5 is very nice to drive and so planted. Some tweaking would likely help out a lot with turn in and mild understeer, but I mostly run race cars as they are and deal with making them work. It would be interesting to tune the car a bit and add some power to bump it closer to that 900 mark, as it's only around 820PP on the softs.

If you find them too easy then use a slower car!
Exactly. The game is a lot more challenging when you use the same car as the NPC. There are so many ways to skirt the regulation to your advantage. Heck, even just suspension setup could make you a lot faster than the stock peers. They aren't "too easy" if you don't use faster cars.

I’ve been trying the weekly races with cars 100pp less than recommended. It’s usually a good battle with that bit of a disadvantage. I don’t always win but I am usually in 2nd if 3rd by the end. If I screwed up somewhere I’ll try the race again and see if I can win. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Considering I’ve already won the race once before I really don’t care what I place in the weekly’s so long as it is at least 3rd.
