I've been doing exactly the same thing for the last couple of days! So much more engaging this way. I even turn off the car info if the dash is visible, shifting on sound or tacho. It's actually awesome just how much detail is in the game and how much more of it you notice when you turn off all the extra display data.In doing my weekly I chose to do something a bit different... I turned off the race info in my HUDView attachment 1401965
and did my races without knowing what lap i was on nor what position i was in at the time. It was fun not knowing, just racing and passing and wondering if I needed to pass more i couldn't see immediately.
Same here I always drive with the HUD off only when its a race with fuel and tire wear do I turn on Display car info only to keep taps on fuel management.I've been doing exactly the same thing for the last couple of days! Great idea on the Chaparral! Going to try it tonight.Doing a report on my run because why not?
Game difficulty: Hard
6★ Parts ticket: Ultra High RPM turbo - Bugatti Veyron
Daily Marathon, 4★ ticket: RE Amemiya FD3S. Sold for 37,900 cr.
6★ Car ticket: Suzuki VGT. Sold for 547,480 cr.
Lightweight K-Cup Event: Suzuki Jimny. 100 HP build. Quick AWD brick made short work of the grid. Recommend doing powerbuild Jimnys for these races, it's got a slightly wonky PP rating because of its high drag body shape.
Hypercar Parade: Fully upgraded Radical SR3 SL. The rabbit AI (the Valkyrie) got stuck behind a Veyron, so I was able to fight my way to the podium. A white knuckle battle between the leading C7 ZR1 and I ensued for about a lap before I was able to break off after the first chicane.
European FR 550: Mercedes 190E, 554pp. Got into P3 by end of lap 1, despite heavy rain. Finally secured P1 by the fast right before the final chicane on a very flooded track. C. Lopez in the M4 had the electronic assists on that kept him a notch above me in the 190 and would've walked off with the win had he not braked for the fast right.

Historic Sports Car Masters: Nissan Fairlady 240ZG. This particular ZG is a podium finisher from a classic car championship I took part in. Sadly, the league that hosted it is defunct now, so the ZG's a bit of memorabilia from that time. I used the leftover setup from when the car ran at Lago Maggiore during the series. The car was properly quick, and I was able to reel in the Lamborghini by the end of lap 4 despite understeering off the track a few times.

WTC 800: Chaparral 2J, using Praiano's detuned setup. Never really got along with Gr3s after I got VR, so I'm just taking the lazy route. Fuel map 6, shifted around 6400-6800 rpm. Realized that FM6 was too much saving at the start of lap 5 (and in P5), and I still had 75 litres left in the tank. Bumped to FM3 and took P1 by end of lap 6. Ended up going all the way to FM1 at the end of lap 7. Ran the entire race without stopping for fuel or tires!

You are telling us that from the 6* car ticket from weekly races you got a car that his selling price was 147 k ?!!!!!!!Nothing special to report. All races were boring, tickets were worse. Daily's were 10k, 5K. 6* was a Renault I sold for 146K. Part was an exhaust, not even the best one.
Can I convince you from the opposite ?... I’m convinced there’s no winning with a GR3 on Hard ...
