Don't know how I feel about Special Events that are also regular event types.

On the one hand, the kei events are some of the best in the game. On the other, it's nice getting to do something different each week and we don't get that this week.

So there's a chance that some of the prior Special Events series could make it into the regular World Circuits as series?
Guys, what are the odds of getting an "invite car" from this 6 stars ticket?
Currently, 2 in 27 (roughly 7.4%), or 8 invitation cars that are not possible prizes in the launch-day menu books/licenses/missions divided by 108 total cars available in Brand Central for at least 480,000 Cr. (the price of the 2020 AMG Mercedes-AMG GT3, which I have picked up from a 6-star ticket) that are not possible prizes in the launch-day menu books/licenses/missions.

The K-Cup hasn't been at Kyoto before.

Quick and easy ...

On RS I can tune the non-swapped Mercedes E30 Sport Evolition up to over 730PP with all available parts...
You're probably talking about the Mercedes 190E Evolution II, I guess?

BTW, here's the next selection, as always courtesy of Nakano. Gonna need to buy the BRZ as I've neglected it until now, and I probably also need another E46 as I swapped mine and don't remember if I already have a stock one.

This Autopolis track must be Kaz's favorite!!!! ΤΤ event and weekly one...
There are many interesting tracks (fictional or real) to choose from the last event...

Absolutely loved the DTM event this week! I had at least ten runs at the event, winning mostly but also struggling with a couple of my builds as I went. Three below were my favourites I built specifically to take on this event, hence the DTM liveries!

I started with the 190 E, after buying up a few of them last week when they came out as a special pick. Wide body, all the aero bits, and a tune loosely derived from an @praiano63 tune. My first couple of attempts were underpowered and didn't quite make the cut, but when I learned to tame it, everything came together nicely!

Next up was the Sierra Cosworth. Unfortunately all the tuning in the world couldn't help me with this one, best finish being a 5th place. Just not enough pace to keep up with the leading pack.

My final build, completed on the final day of the race, was this 959-swapped 964. This was great out of the box, only requiring a very minor bit of adjustment to the ride height to eliminate some understeer. Very fast and reliable, and loads of fun to throw around Catalunya!

Not sure I'll put as much effort into the Kei car race...

EDIT: Thought I'd do a double-header on the weeklies, using @Nakano219 randomizer set to "Hardcore" for one round, then "Any random car" for a second attempt.

Hardcore:

Any random car:

This one will be hilarious! I'll definitely need an engine-swapped VW and Crown Athlete to stand any remote chance of even a podium! I can see the VW having some potential, but I doubt the Crown will be able to compete due to much higher tyre wear than anything else that will be on the track! Oh, an no chance of that S-FR giving any of the true Hypercars a challenge at DTG.

Is this on Hard difficulty?

In doing my weekly I chose to do something a bit different... I turned off the race info in my HUD
192e8b94d4273-10177746eba4528e4c85207fe61d0c8b37c22f9e-999_message_442993409656232_1730443006469.jpg

and did my races without knowing what lap i was on nor what position i was in at the time. It was fun not knowing, just racing and passing and wondering if I needed to pass more i couldn't see immediately.

Here it goes my humble report.

Cars I drove this week:
  • Mazda RX Vision GT
  • Porsche Spyder 918
  • Capuccino '91
  • BMW M3 '89
  • BMW M2 competition

I had two pleasant surprises, one being the BMW M2 for it was the very first time I drove it. The car is a very good ride in its stock form.

The second one was the Big Willow race scenario. Not only the classics cars really fit well in that track but also the beautiful sunset at the last lap made up a great atmosfere. All of that despite me really not liking this track it all. But in this race it was nice. Go figure.

The 6 stars car ticket were packed with VGTs only ☹️. The despicable wheel gave me a Bulgari whatever GT, which I sold for 500k and a change. The daily marathon ticket gave me another 100k. So at the end it was a nice time spent with the weeklies.

Swooooosh ... now that's been a quick walkthrough !
Five fun events and great cars all around. Five podiums, five bonuses.

Race 1 - Vantage S / 556 PP
WC_241101_R1.jpg

Great racing with the black BMW - side by side, fair and square. It's possible ! ... every now and then.

Race 2 - KPGC10 swapped / 579 PP
WC_241101_R2.jpg

Despite PP cap the old Skyline was too dominant. Enjoyed the exhaust note while cruising to the line.

Race 3 - S660 / 376 PP
WC_241101_R3.jpg

After P3 with the stock car I needed a second attempt here for the win. Adding some race components made the little car fly.

Race 4 - Gallardo / 799 PP
WC_241101_R4.jpg

In a case of doubt take the outside line to pass. Even against siblings ...

Race 5 - R92CP / 799 PP
WC_241101_R5.jpg

The friendly racecar.

Well, my beautiful reward besides credits was a ( believe it or not ) GRMN shaft and a Tomahawk S VGT that I sold for 600k.

Few good races this week, European FR Challenge is fun given the rain and the same can be said for the Hypercar Parade. Historics at Willow is quite an easy race but the time of day change keeps it interesting enough, Miura on CS was an easy win and quite fun to drive. Didn't care much for the Lightweight K-Cup, like all the others it's locked to CS tyres which basically means you're in stock or slightly improved cars, would've been cool to have had something a little different and included different tyres and engine swaps. WTC 800 is a bit weird because at least for me the AI on RH didn't pit at all and instead drove the last lap or two on completely worn front tyres so they were like 5-10 seconds a lap off the pace. I thought I wasn't going to win given I had to pit for tyres in the McLaren F1 GTR but I caught a ton of time on the last two laps and ended up easily winning.

Cars for the week:
full

Well that was a surprisingly fun weekend with some surprises:
Finally tuned my former trusty WTC800 car to something decent albeit down on HP from norm. Surprise #1 was there wasn't any rain. Every time I've done this race I always hit rain. Easy win over Igor by almost a minute and lapped a couple.

My usual Hypercar entry the FXXK. What a handful on this track and the damp track. Still won by almost 9 seconds.
Dragon Trail - Gardens_ (2) by 2cam16, on Flickr
Surprise #2-rain from the get-go at Nurburgring in my Pandem inspired M3 seen here using 5th place as a bumper at T1 on the last lap. I was on SS and everyone on SH. Caught up with 1&2 near the end and took first at the chicane.

If it wasn't for an OFF, I would have won Willow. Took second and lost by half a second in this TC Miata.

Kyoto was fun! I didn't know there were penalties and you basically have to serve them yourself by slowing down. Nevertheless I carried a 1.5second pen the whole race so was able to gap Miyazono and Valerio by over 2 seconds on the last lap. Just enough to win.
Kyoto Driving Park - Miyabi_ by 2cam16, on Flickr
Won this which I didn't own yet so a keeper.
