Only around 10% of the posts in this thread classify as weird/unusual. Come on people, man up! We need to see some *really* weird combinations :D

(Chocolate spread and cucumber sandwiches for starters)

See... that makes sense because of fondue. Chocolate on crisp veggies always works. Well... not tomatoes...

Thinking of going ahead with the bacon-vodka ice cream experiment. I'm naming it the "Kimi Raikkonen". :D

Right, so this is indeed tasty - fret not.

  • slice of bread (toast is best)
  • strawberry jam
  • slice of emmentaler cheese

  • spread jam as usual
  • put cheese on top of it
  • awesome

A couple of my fave's are:
Maple syrup on hash browns that have been seasoned with Lowry's and pepper. That salty/sweet does it every time.

The other is a sammy made of buttered toast with peanut butter(Jif all the way baby)on one slice, then a couple of fried eggs with a slice of cheese on top, preferably munster, on the other. All 3 protiens compliment each other and rock on a sandwich.

Not that weird but many might not have tried it: Chili Bean Omelet with cheese of course. Grape jelly in any sauce that is tomato based.

Not sure if it's been said, didn't feel like reading every post... But... Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches are pretty good.

cheese with jam or marmelade

of course on bread

Cheese and jam sandwich. In Year 8 a friend of mine told me about it and I thought it was awful, until I tried it one day and it's surprisingly nice.

Also, hash brown and baked bean sandwich. I used to get it all the time from the sandwich shop but the beans make it very messy to eat.

Really? Thats way too usual where I live, everyone eats it. I'll go along as to say, one of the most popular deserts around the entire country is slices of marmalade with cheese.
Try jam with ham in a sandwich, it's delicious.

Me and a friend discovered a weird but good combination. Butter cookies with slices of melon (Honeydew variety). The crisp of the cookies mixed with the sweetness of the the melon, it's so good.

Also, an unusual (well, it's kind of usual where I live) is slices of melon (Santa Claus melon variety) with slices of ham and cheese.

Strong cheddar cheese, first dipped in runny honey and then ground coffee. You'll thank me later. :)

Pretty much anything with ketchup isn't unusual. It's too common.

Chocolate and orange. How's that for unusual?

Egg on a sandwich, where the yolk is all drippy and soft, with any type of old cheese molten into it, and the egg is baked on any type of garlicky sausage. And mayonaise and hot sauce on the bread.

Perfect hangover food.

I was with you on the egg/toast part with the drippy yolk and cheese, but after that you lost me.

Get very drunk, get a hangover and make rhat sandwich. You'll be feeling better within 15 minutes. Or not. You could be puking your guts out after 1 bite.

Today I was adventurous and had a Southern Fried Breakfast Burger. That's with lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, two fried eggs, and sausage gravy.

It was awesome. Sausage gravy on a burger? Broooo.
