Dinner tonight was awesome! We had ricotta spinach tortellini with parmesan basil cream sauce and Italian sausage meatballs.

The usual stuff. Kefir, nuts, seeds, honey, blue berries, strawberries, rasberries, apple, many different vegetables, sardines, raisins, ice cream, cheese, crackers, etc.... .

Not all at once!

I wanna make an omelette but what is a omelette without cheese.

How are the Chipotle Cheddar?
The Chipolte cheddar flavor is good. I prefer the Pizza or Buffalo Wings flavor but they didn't have any in.

My favorite chips are still the Cheez It Zingz Chipolte cheddar flavor. I have been addicted to these Zingz for at least a year.

As for the omelette without cheese, just add in more butter after it is cooked.

Brunch was cottage cheese, tortilla chips, sardines with Sriracha hot sauce.

Dinner was beef chorizo patty, pan fried cheddar whipped potatoes, mac & cheese and corn niblets.

He was joking. He's eaten there plenty of times. :)

Now that I think about it, I've even eaten there the one time I was in California.

Yep. Figured you've seen all my pics of my favorite pie, the King Arthur Supreme. :)

What did you get, TB?

Chiavettas marinaded chicken on the grill with macaroni salad :D

I highly recommend anyone who likes chicken to try this marinade. You can only get it in New York as far as I know but its worth buying online. It is strong. Let it soak overnight or for a few days then BBQ it.

Oh. My. God.

Hard to describe but I would say its like an extremely tangy vinegar with seasoning in it. You know your eating it without it being ridiculous.

Think of it as marinating chicken in Italian dressing but 5 times stronger.

I went to Trader Joes today and got these.

they were much meatier than I expected. Quite good.

The star, however, was the spicy mustard I had with them.

I've always liked that strong mustard that Chinese restaurants have on the table.

They will give you mustard packets with take-out, but it is not the same. I have bought Oriental mustard in the grocery store, but it is not the same.

One day while having a late lunch in a Chinese restaurant a waiter was preparing the tables for the dinner shift. I saw that he had dishes of mustard for the tables. I asked him where they got it. He said he didn't know but it was powder that they mix with water.

A few days later I went by Penzys Spices and found this.

This is the mustard I was looking for. You mix equal parts water and powder and you get authentic Chinese restaurant mustard.

You have to be careful with it. It will shoot right up your nose and punch you right between the eyes if you take too big of a bite of it.

If there is no Penzys where you live you can buy it here!

No dinner last night and no breakfast or lunch today. So, two hot dogs it is again. (The hot dog buns are about to go bad so it's either eat them now, or toss them out later).

Went to Taco Bell for the first time in a long time.

Tried a steak quesarito, wasn't bad, but wasn't great.

I did get a giant cup of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Forgot how good that stuff was.

For my birthday dinner tonight I announced I wanted actual good pizza, not the crap that is the usual around here. I wanted brick oven baked with unique ingredients and fresh dough. After a bit of searching I discovered Brick Oven Pizzeria, which opened just last year.

So, I decided to test them. Good pizza places truly let you make it how you want. I ordered a meatball (a rare ingredient in this area, pepperoni, onion, and mushroom with the regular cheese replaced with fresh mozzarella. "No problem." OK, impressed. I essentially ordered a five-topping pizza (fresh mozzarella is a topping) with no cheese. I can't do that anywhere. Hell, fresh mozzarella at a non-Italian restaurant is very rare.

The results:

My new favorite pizza place.

We also got cheese bread.

And what birthday is complete without cake?

It's not just hot, it's Canada hot.

Only had dinner yesterday and I was hungry. So, I had a ham and swiss cheese sandwich with Pizza Pringles since Pringles Pizza Stix are no longer made. Cookies for dessert afterwards.

Brunch was the last two hot dogs. The buns, although over two weeks old, were still good enough to eat. Right now, having a baked potato with light sour cream and chives while watching the race.
