Wasn't hungry.

Homemade peanut butter cups.
IS NOW.

This was Awesome! One of the best frozen entrees I've had in a long time. It was spicy enough to have a bite of the rice with every bite of the chicken, and still make the top of my head sweat.

Hmmm, dilemma...

Further to some posts above, I was going to buy myself a bottle of Woodford Reserve and do my bit for the Kentuckian economy - but Morrison's are selling Jack Daniel's for £15...

Woodford Reserve is about £30 in most places - a bit more in specialist shops that are more likely to have it - but £15 for JD is crazy cheap (infact, it is £10 cheaper than it is in Tesco, and £1 cheaper than I have seen it for sale in recent years). Is Woodford Reserve worth twice as much as JD??

(P.S. Although as Omnis points out, WR and JD are owned by the same people, so either way I'm still doing my bit for the Kentuckian economy)

JD and Woodford Reserve are different styles of whiskeys. The former is Tennessee Sour Mash and the latter is Bourbon; JD filters the whiskey through charcoal (Lincoln County Process), which Bourbon doesn't go through. JD is kinda the only one that large scale makes and exports the Tennessee Sour Mash style. Really though, I don't think JD is really all that great...

Didn't eat yesterday at all. A few crackers with peanut butter was it. Just didn't feel hungry. So, today, different story. Woke up to a roast beef sandwich and some cottage cheese and then The Hat (again) for dinner.

Lunch was a bag of popcorn.

For dinner, weather forced me to cook inside, but still had a lamb shoulder chop with mint sauce and some garbanzo beans and cheesy garlic bread.

Wow the fresh diced tomatoes and onions make that dish look awesome!

I had my favorite frozen pizza, eaten taco style.

Normally I keep a bag of mozzarella cheese in the freezer. When I cook these pizzas, I add frozen mozz, oregano, and crushed red pepper. I cook them on a cooking cooling rack that I set on top of the oven rack, I have a sheet pan in the bottom of the oven to catch anything that falls off. The come out very crispy.

Every once in a while though I like to cook them on a sheet pan, so the crust is softer, fold them, and eat them like a taco. After seeing the video, (I linked to above) the other day, I got a craving.

These pizzas cost about $1.25 in the grocery store, but, on impulse, I was willing to pay $2.59 at the convenience store today. A craving is a craving.

I added a little oregano, a little parmesan cheese and a little garlic powder. Instead of cooking it on the rack, I buttered a piece of aluminium foil and cooked it on a cookie sheet.

After letting it cool for a bit, I added a little more parmesan cheese and cold pickled jalapenos.

I folded it in half and ate it. It was delicious!

You heathen. You don't cook a totino's on a foil. You put it directly on the oven rack so that it gets its characteristic, delicious, crispy crust. You're supposed to cut it into semi circles and eat it one half a a time. Or sandwich the halves together for a pizzadilla.

By the way, did they take the trans fat out of it? It used to be absolutely loaded with it, but I noticed the labels all say 0g now. However, none of the ingredients have changed, so I think it's all a bunch of FDA loophole boocheat.

Shame, since it is a great childhood memory and one of my favorite frozen pizzas.

@TouringMars, look for some WL Weller. And go bourbon instead of JD. JD is like budweiser for drunks.

Had the Tesco version of KFC. A pack of wings and a pack of drumsticks. Cold in the middle of a shopping centre.

TB
You were cold, the chicken was cold or the shopping center was cold?

Kids wanted shrimp, made shrimp.

Then there's no reason for you to post anything...
The chicken was cold. It had just come out the freezer.
Although it was quite cold today.

Pizza night. Had a free coupon from Papa John's and I was feeling particularly lazy. Cheese pizza.

Pac-Man already ate the peperoncini.

Find out today that cold left over spaghetti straight out of the refrigerator is still very tasteful. 👍

Leftover spaghetti is a bachelor godsend. There's not really anywhere to get food late at night near my residence so I have to plan ahead for drunk food

Currently having pork chops and some beaujolais wine. I didn't really drink wine before I came to France but I'm starting to come around to it, there's good wine in Canada too but it's so much more expensive, a 4 Euro bottle here is so much better than a $6 bottle at home.

NCG Chicken soup, two slices of bread and a glass of coke. Just about to have a slice of lemon cheesecake and a cup of coffee.
