Finished the Open Tour and the bonus event with the classic Alfa at Spa.
Yesterday, I completed the second featured tour series with the Abarth 124 Spider.

Have uploaded my tunes for the Abarth at D400 and C500 if anyone is desperate  cutback73

Actually the C500 felt pretty quick and fun to drive, so I'm quite pleased with it 👍

That car is just a really fun and enjoyable car to drive even stock! A slightly more lively MX-5.

Been running the the Alpha Guilia series (Multiplayer) and it has been quite fun. I uploaded three tunes if anyone is racing in it. I'm on a wheel so it should be wheel friendly. Their is and Aero Build, No Aero Build, and Power build. None of them contain the bumper or hood bug.

Ran the Giulia events. Yet again, the first 2 races the AI were way ahead, only when I got to race 3 had I levelled up enough to win. Daytona circuit did look good though (other than all the standard Series S blur obviously).

Played multiplayer, but instead of trying to win, I just wanted to play with others. I had some of the best public races ever. I got collected a couple of times, and still, it didn't mess with me. I'm definitely not going to care about winning again, when it comes to multiplayer. If I do good or finish first, then that is just icing on the cake. I don't know why I psyche myself in to thinking that public hopper racing matters. As long as I have a good time and don't be an ass, then that's what matters.

Working my way through the open tours. It helps me determine which cars are OP for their class* as I don't want to venture online until I have more time.

[EDIT] Until they put your S-class Scuderia up against a field of dedicated F1 cars thanks to the broken classes :indiff:

Aside from the usual plowing through the monthly rotating races, recently I've been trying to make a re-creation of one of my favorite Lamborghinis from the modern era, the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni. Given that the only Gallardo in the game is the 570-4 Superleggera it's not going to be particularly exact, there's no spoiler delete option and obviously no way to knock 20 horsepower out of the engine, but I've at least got it to the proper weight and installed the RWD conversion and it's definitely a lot less stubborn to drive. I haven't even messed with the suspension yet and it's just way more fun now that I can kick the back end out on demand.

They really must have changed either how AWD is modeled or how PI is calculated, because I definitely remember most AWD cars getting a significant PI reduction if you made them RWD in previous Forza games. Now it seems like the weight savings ends up being more of an overall net bonus, and that really frees up a lot of options to really experiment. Granted I've not tried converting RWD to AWD yet, but I can definitely say that it's nice to not feel like AWD min-maxing a car into a generic bodyshell is a requirement to make it feel competitive anymore.

For the first time, I really dove into Rivals. Previously I'd only done a lap here or a lap there. This time, it was 10-15 laps at Mugello and Road America before those expired.
I've played plenty of FM & FH games over the years, but only played Rivals when necessary for a prize.

This time, I felt different and had a bunch of fun - maybe it was just seeing what silly player names would be next?

Beat Slap A Clown, then on to Lead Paint...

Finished up the series with the 430 Scud. Really like that car, didn't feel the need to touch it so I ran the series stock. Will have to revisit at some point. Was pleasantly surprised by the Lambo as well.

Got a few minutes to do some testing for a Daytona 24-something or other we're working on, should be a fun one. Or a disaster. Not sure yet but it will be interesting....

Raced the open series to get the -74 Porsche. Did the B-class easy win (even in rain) in a -67 Corvette, picked a hot & wide -82 Porsche Turbo to finish the A-class.

Raced the -74 untouched for a while before I started working on a setup for it.

Finally finished the Italian Challengers Tours, now that's one less game to worry about before I leave Sunday. I'll hop onto Horizon tomorrow to get the Playlist done, then do the GT7 Weekly Challenges Saturday.

Tried out a couple of freeplay laps on the Nordschleife to max out my level 45 V12 Vantage. I couldn't set a clean time because misjudging the narrower track limits caused me to hit rewind when I overshot into the next bend but I still had a great time.

I also finished off Italian Challengers and got in a couple of tour races in a D-class Golf GTi (can't remember the year but it was older than the AI competition) at Lime Rock and Grand Oak before the gasman came to check my boiler (actually a female engineer named Sheena and she was no boiler herself).

Hot-lapped the Cadillac V-Series.R and the Mercedes-AMG One, and I was underwhelmed with my laps.

6:29.958 with the Caddy and 6:46.848 with the Mercedes. I'm not sure if this is a physics issue or a skill issue.

For an LMDh/Le Mans Hypercar, I expected the Cadillac V-Series.R to be a whole lot faster, like under six minutes.

If it's really a skill issue, I think I should put more time into re-learning the track.

Well this is my 1st post in any Forza thread because I finally got around to purchasing Forza Motorsport Premium today. Started from the beginning, Builder's Cup has been fun with the Hyundai after a few stand-alone races to get used to driving again with a controller.

Off work today, 2nd day with FM and having a good time. Made my way through the Builder's Cup "Practical Performance" Series with a podium finish, started the "Built For Sport" Series next but the Porsche is quite a handful so been running single races again to get used to the car's braking (lack there of) and handling.

Still having a good time though.

Today I completed the Builder's Cup "Built For Sport" Series and decided that I would take a shot at online racing. After the 3 qualification races I was happy to see a 2,999 with a safety rating of "A". I can figure out the safety rating but have no idea if 2,999 is good or bad.

Setup grip handicap to 0.250 / 0.250 (advanced race settings). Sadly it only affect the player car or its broken because ai have always full grip.

That's not a bad starting point for the first time. I'd suggest looking at the easier events to begin with, like the Formula Mazda cars or MX-5 Cup races if they come back to help build your rating, or the E-B class racing.

I've found that the rating can be a little screwy - I've been hovering around 4900 but I'm nowhere near Alien-level, but what I do do is score in the top four consistently. Keep getting podiums or thereabouts and your rating will go up.

Another (very risky) strategy is to not qualify and start at the back - passing lots of cars will help with your rating. The main risk is that inevitably you will come across the idiots who will sell their own grandmother to win a race, let alone take the time to race cleanly.

Ran my time trial laps in the original Mini Cooper at Nordschleife, then used the classic Alfa GTA in the D Class open tour races. Which has got it high enough to reach C Class, so I'll be carrying it over to those races next.
