Aside from the usual Sport mode, i raced the new Hypercar book and won all 3 and honestly... Very underwhelmed!
Entered with a stock La Ferrari with just racing softs upgrade. Hard difficulty and no assists. I expected the new 919, McLaren P1, etc to be involved and give me a hard time.
Instead, my closest opponent was the Ferrari Tribute and in all 3 races I finished a minimum of 25 seconds ahead... No challenge at all and the reward, a BMW Z3 engine 🫤🫣🙄
Finished all the new menu books. Got gold on all the races except Willow Springs after wiping out heading into the last corner and settled for 2nd. Will try to redo the race again tomorrow, used the 787B for the Neoclassical races. The Hypercar one was a cakewalk with the Tomahawk S (although I feel like I should’ve used something else). Now to wait for the 300ZX to show up I guess.
Edit: Ran the Willow Springs race again and won by 13 seconds.
Kicked off my day with the Tom’s Supra (also using Pra’s very nice WG-tune) for the Neo events. Such a nice drive at basically full power, I was really happy. Had a few mishaps like shooting off the track after L1 at Willow and inadvertently entering the pits trying to get back on track, missing the pit entry at Red Bull and running out of gas for about 2/3 of a lap and ultimately losing the race, but all’s well that end’s well.
Changed up my approach for the Hyper series. Kicked off at Trial in the new Spyder at 744 and had no problems cleaning house, improved my lap times with each pass. Next I boogied off to Kyoto in the FXX-K at 850 (Exeter) and scored an improved lap with each turn, recurring theme here. New car for me, first time driving in it on a track I rarely visit, so a bit of a novelty there. Closed it out at Sarthe with a revisit to Pra’s SLR. After I butchered his tune yesterday, I reset it closer to spec, took the gloves off to 750 and smoked the field with improved lap times at each pass again.
Next it was time to reap the fruits of my labor. 4* for my daily, the 5* and 2 6*’s (1 engine and 1 parts) and was rewarded with…
Psych! That landed on the $10K of course.
I didn’t even know a Honda VGT existed and I couldn’t care less, UGH!
Not exactly what I’ve always wanted, but I do like the car and the PP had taken a hit. So it was pretty much a free upgrade back to 700.
This one hurt the most though. Are you effing kidding me right now?!?
Updates for CfS coming soon, going to try and get 4 done today, good thing the wife is working late!
Got the Amuse NISMO tested, very nice indeed and the AI amused me as well!
Well I didn’t make it through 4, but I got 3 done. The DeLorean is a bit iffy as its severely underpowered, but I managed a win through sheer perseverance, lol. The Fugu turned out pretty good once I got the hang of it. She really needs some work on the suspension to tighten her up though. I got Cas’ Silvia spec-R tuned up to 700 and her mileage dialed in and just need to run the race, it took a bit of fiddling to get the fuel economy up on her.
Also, I got in touch with a guy doing something very similar to the CfS on Reddit (special thanks to @Black Rook for that), so hopefully we can do some collaboration and make it even better resource for everyone.
I signed off 1 race shy of my Daytona money, but given the affordability of the new additions, I’m not too worried about it.

I just ran that one using my CLK-LM. It was a rather easy win. There were all the Group C cars form the game, plus the Escudo, the new Skyline, the 2 McLarens, a couple rally cars, and the Alfa Romeo 155. I lapped almost half the field with the CLK-LM; and it was de-tuned to 799.47.
Did the Hypercar menu. Used my Aventador & Ford GT... kinda boring. Won them all easy. 20+ seconds, I don't even remember.
Did the Willow Springs Neoclassical in the 787B. I hate, hate, hate that track. Got a P3... good enough. Will do the other two later. Thinking of trying the CLK for RBR.
Obliterated the new Hypercar events at Sarthe and Kyoto with my GT-R R35 and then decided to have some fun by destroying them all with my BRZ Drift Car turned race car at Trial Mountain. Lapped the last 3 in the field at TM.
on to the Neoclassical event after supper.
Over on the Plus account, I hit up Luca for the extra menus as I already had all the Vipers and Fairladys, getting a second GReddy Fugu Z (I bought the first one) and a parts ticket. I then clubbed some baby seals in the Hyper Car Parade with a stock FXX K for an engine ticket.
The all-6-star roulette haul came out as:
Marathon - 500,000 Cr. (2nd-smallest cash prize)
Parts - Titanium connecting rods & pistons for Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3 Road Car
Engine - Hellcat engine
Given I didn't have either the part or the engine (no jubilee on this account), not too shabby. I had enough cash to make it into the 'N' portion of the 450,000-Cr. Brand Central logjam.
Unfortunately, back on the GTP account, I didn't have enough cash to get both of the new-and-hot Hagerty's cars. I did snag the Skyline Super Silhouette.
Won the Rampage LS7 engine and immediately installed it in a stock DeLorean, full upgrades with just Stage 1 weight reduction. And later when I finish working (WFH for me) will test and tune, rinse and repeat.
After a 45-minutes stint of testing and tuning on Le Mans 700, I now have a permanent grin on my face from this car!!!!! I'm not an expert tuner, nor I claim to be one, but meddling with it got a 699.25PP tune for it that totally, absolutely, entirely slays everything at Le Mans 700 WTC!! This car keeps begging for more, like "that's it?? what else you got for me??" attitude it's so amazingly awesome!! I confess I have been totally surprised by this car, ran a fastest lap of 4:07 on FM6 and short-shifting at 7000rpm's and I'm no expert driver!! In more capable hands this car it's gonna be a beast!!
Also, did just a very sleeper-like livery for it, street-tuned style. Like any long-term relationship, there's high and low moments, but the feelings will always be there. Right now, I'm falling in love again with GT.
Finished both of the new menu books, got both the prizes for the extra menu books as I had completed those collections prior to this update and acquired all the new cars released today.
For anyone having troubles with the Neoclassical events the AI is no match for the ‘97 McLaren F1 GTR. No stopped all 3 events and won all by at least 45 seconds. Kokobuns also no stopped the Fuji event for me which I wasn’t expecting so glad I used FM6 the entire race to finish with .1 fuel left.
Bought the 918, took it to Watkins Glen and did the 3 Hypercar Parade races. I won the race at Kyoto but I had to redo the other two in the LaFerrari because I couldn't win them in the 918. The I swapped the Coyote engine into the Pantera, tuned it and took it to Laguna Seca. I also swapped the C6 Corvette ZR-1 engine into the Trans Am and took it to Maggiore.
So I woke up waaayyy too early and after doing some laundry and a cup of coffee, I did 4 back to back Le Mans WTC 700 with my LS7 DeLorean and was able to make a final conclusion. This car kills everything in it’s path AS LONG AS THE SURFACE IS DRY. Come rain, this car is almost uncontrollable it’s a complete 180 reverse attitude, from a very confident and capable track car right into a “no, nope, hate water, don’t make me, won’t do it” attitude it’s so comically funny!
But I love it!! Would be boring if the car excelled at anything…
Will now make some breakfast and will come back later and have another therapy session with the car later 😁😁
Took the Porsche 918 Spyder to LeMans. Pretty much walked it with this tune from u/myckol .
4 star ticket of dispondency revealed an invite to Bugatti (again),when there are no other cars on their showroom that I do not already own. 😬. Absolutely bloody pointless. I'd have taken the 5000 credits, although there were only 3 parts, 1 engine, and the invite on the roulette wheel. Afyrr yesterday's roulette debacle, I'd have thought my luck might have changed. 😒. Hey ho. Onwards and upwards, try to remember, it's only a game, addicted but still only a game.
Finished the main Menus and won the R8 V8 and 2JZ engines, as well as an extra 500k! Then bought the Maserati. Just a little grind on Spa and the Nissan and Porsche are mine 😎
Completed the Neoclassical book for the ticket and my daily miles ticket. Sadly, still no new engine. Then did some laps in the swapped Pantera. Probably just do the daily routine until I get the new engines.
Grinded the Trial Mountain hypercar for an extra 1mil so I could buy the maserati. Haven't bought it yet but will eventually before it is gone from the LCD. The grinding gave me my daily - a 4 star ticket. What did I win you may wonder? A Z34. That's my 6th z34 gifted to me so far. I need to figure out what to do with them all since no selling... anyone got any cool liveries?
Made a livery for the 918 (did this late, yesterday, actually)
Today, I just finished the Hyper Car Parade with the 918 (too easy with it). Then I bought the 2 new cars in the LCD. I still may pick up the Cobra Daytona. I have the credits, but I'll only have 9.8m Cr left. And I still need to pick up the 917 (whenever it shows back up, I REALLY want that car). However, with daily grinding of Sardegna and Le Mans, I should have the credits back up in no time.
edit: So I went ahead and purchased the Cobra Daytona. I also picked up the DB5 and the Fairlady Z 432. As of now, I have all the (currently available) cars in the LCD.
I had saved up 9 roulette tickets until after the update in hopes they would fix the ticket system. No dice on that, but I did cash them in last night and the results were:
x1 SRT Tomahawk
x1 Dodge Charger Hellcat
x1 High lift cams for a '17 NSX
x2 30k credits
x4 5k credits
Did the other two Neoclassical at RBR and Fuji. Used the CLK and 787B respectfully. P1 & P2; good enough. What did I get with my ticket? Some NOS for the 458 Ferrari. Then I cashed in my daily mileage ticket... some cams for the DeLorean. Really? Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse than the 5k payout PD says, "Hold my sake."
Did the TT challenge on both accounts with a 2:14.3 & 2:14.1 respectfully. Again... good enough. Not trying to set records, just want the golds.
Bought that hideous Skyline. Might be the META at Bathurst.
