Grinded. Grinded some more, since my idiot of a brother insists I give him a fistful of paper money today. :indiff:

But I also whipped up a 300ZX racecar... which is whipping me back. It needs a tune badly, and I'm not quite a pro at it...

Trying like crazy to get up to 8.5 mil for the drop of the CLK GTR (whenever that may be). Got to 8.2 mil and couldn't help but buy the 2017 Ford GT Road Car. After the ~650k investment (after tires, brakes, etc.) I ended up making it all back cuz I was having so much fun in it.

Looking forward to the 1 mil bonus.

you should already have it in "Gifts"

Decided to fully mod my GT40 2006 and............its absolutely undrivable. All the credits wasted. The snap oversteer is so bad I can only coast through corners.

I spent HOURS trying to find a setup that works for me, and found none. Super soft rear suspension, LSD maxed out, rear downforce maxed out, racing hards, proper toe 0f 0.30 on the rear - nothing helps. Its around 700PP yet I can easily beat it with my 650 PP Integra because that car can actually corner.

I have played all Gran Turismo games sans Sports, I have played many Colin McRae games and also Richard Burns rally and Assetto Corsa, I consider myself an experienced sim racer, and this snap oversteer is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
That’s the 2006 Ford GT (road car) you are talking about? (GT40 are the ones from the 60s). I only drive mine a tiny bit (stock) and can’t say I found it’s handling memorable. That Lancia Stratos on the other hand…. my goodness even stock that thing is almost undrivable and indeed I need to coast throigh corners or else this thing spins out for no reasonable reason. It’s the old Stratos from GT5/6 era all over again. 😅

Have been trying to make a competitive 295bhp/1200kg car out of the De Tomasso Mangusta - it's an absolute dog haha.

It has the strangest power band I've seen yet in GT7, basically plateaus from halfway through the rev range all the way through to max revs, which I thought would make it competitive in the straights but it's still a bit short of 996 GT3 amongst other cars with those restrictions.

It has soooo much understeer when you turn in off the throttle at low speed, really struggling to make sense of what to do with it but finding the challenge enjoyable.

this car is generally untamed, the game gives some nice explanation when you check it in "car collection" sector and when you take it to Cafe

I'm up to 5M credits, but still haven't bought the Sauber. The shady economy has gone from FOMO on the cars currently in the showroom to FOMO on what might appear just after I've spent all my hard-earned cash!

Instead, I've mostly been painting and stickering today. Sambabus is still comically slow, even with a turbo and tune, but at least it looks cool...

Looks great, you need to get your hands on a Porsche engine swap for it! Could you point me in the direction to find those flower stickers pls? Was looking for something similar earlier in the week but was unsuccessful

Cheers. Waiting for an engine that might get it over 70mph!

I had to import the graphic in three sections because it was over the upload size limit no matter what I did to it. I'll share them now - if you search for "Hibiscus Row" you'll see the three parts, which you need to assemble 1-2-3, left to right. As long as you have them all the same scale, they should tesselate perfectly and because they're set in place on the image, if you copy to the other side without mirroring, they'll stay connected and in position (obviously, mirroring works fine too).

Edit: My profile is Factor41 - you might find them easier that way.

Yesterday I was trying to get dialy workout gift and I was 3 miles away and when I finished a race because I missed it by a few minutes I had start it over again. I bought GR.86 to use in Japanese FR car menu book. So the lesson I learned don't spend time changing cars when you close to midnight and you don't have the daily workout done.

Awesome, thanks a bunch! Yeah I had the same problem the other day while trying to upload a Mr. Sparkle decal... Slightly less elegant than the hibiscus flowers haha

Drop a Porsche 911 engine into it and watch the thing do wheelies like the Beetle can do. :sly::lol:

Anyway, that's a really beautiful livery for the 'bus. 👍

Decided to do a custom Honda S660 race at the Red Bull Ring with a bunch of Red Bull or Honda supported drivers and other drivers for Honda-powered teams.

I was just bored

You probably missed out of a 5000 credits reward.

That car is fun! Love the engine sound too! But yeah, I've not gotten a very good setup for it and it's a challenge to drive. Hopefully Praiano or one of the other top-notch tuners snatches it off the UCD and works their magic

Haha I tried doing the 24hrs of Le Mans mission in the retro turbo formula racecar...

Was going pretty well until I realised that it has no lights and most of the track is completely unlit at night.
You won't be the first person lmao , the first time they added Karts to a GT Game there was one of the funniest posts ever on here about someone racing a Kart at the Nord , they mentioned the lights issue and I almost wet myself laughing just with the mental image of this Kart going into the dark

Drove the Sauber C9 around the Lemans track and it was glorious! That car drives so beautifully without any tunes. Theres also some cool liveries out there for it too :)

2.000 is what I got today:grumpy:, after the patch. Never received less than 5.000 before.
Did you at least get your free 1 million? With that gift I don't care if I get a couple 2k tickets for the next few days.

Edit: Inb4 2k tickets for the next week.
