Long story short, get the 959 now.
@Lomic

Indeed!

Don't make the same mistake I did.. ended up waiting 3 months for the return of the 959..

Thanks for all those infos, I come back to the PC after some grind to get the 959, so it seems I've made the better choice without knowing the ins and outs 🤓

I have some cash left as I was only short of 14k Cr. and I've grinded Sardegna once more.

Not sure when the 964 disappears. If tomorrow I may have enough time to grind what I need (~1M8) but not sure I will have the motivation too, I have other things to do :)
You must mean the 904 if you're a million Cr. short, because the 964 is under 220,000 Cr. The 904 is in the same boat as the 959.

Yes indeed ! The 904 (the old Porsche from last update, with the 959), I did not understood why it would have a different cycle at LCD reading you post above, but I assumed you know more. Now I know why, it's because I mixed the 2 9X4 ;)

Bought another 904 and 959. Tuned the 959 and ran LeMans. Got a Huracan Gr4 from the wheel. Tuned that and ran LeMans with it. Excellent car. The 959‘s weakness is the high speed braking stability. Once you get used to it, you can use the brakes to rotate the car.

Started buying out Brand Central. I have every Ford Chevy Toyota and Ferrari for now. I’ll probably get a third of each of the Ferrari and Pagani invitation cars before they expire in a few days and then back to grinding for BC. I managed to lose my CRB at Spa because of a yellow flag in VR. Very frustrating but it’s better than the time I got passed by pitting AI while I was waiting at the finish line for the LM 30 minutes race. I got a 4-star ticket worth 10k again.

I think my patience for endless grinding died out sometime around 10-15 years ago. So have come to conclusion that it's max 1 grind event per day, which will be Sardegna as rain just gets too irritating for me personally,

Plus I like to race with the entire HUD off as I find that sooo much more enjoyable in any driving game.

Tonight was Sardegna.
Followed by Red Bull Ring WTC700 in the classic Honda race car - forgot that had rain and finally had to quit because I couldn't get that thing to stay on the tarmac... :(
So I went to Dragon Trail Gardens for the same event. No need to pit with the Honda. Plus it's a nice track for CRB and the sunset at the end is lovely.

On the GTP account, I overestimated the rain, blowing up my 1-stop strategy with the Porsche Cayman Clubsport. Fortunately, it was fast enough (sub-4:18 fast laps) that burning over 12 seconds on unnecessary tire changes didn't matter. Unfortunately, the insulting 3-star Wheel of Despair was even more insulting than usual, dumping a racing muffler on me.

On the Plus account, I continued re-testing the Gr.4 cars at Sarthe, with the Renault Megane Trophy. It will do 4 laps on fuel and over 7 on tires, while turning laps around 4:20 (I did get to 4:19.1 on the last lap). The 33rd 3-star Wheel of Despair of 92 workout tickets this year gave the smallest-possible 5,000 Cr. I guess I should be thankful it wasn't a height-adjustable suspension like the 3-star Wheel of Despair gave earlier this week.

I did many things:
-Bought an Audi R8
-Won the Group 1 Prototype races on Grand Valley and Fuji in the X2019 Competition
-Won the WTC800 race on Tokyo Expressway in the McLaren F1 GTR '97
-Won the Japanese FR Challenge on Autopolis in the Silvia S14 Aero
-Drove the Audi R8 around Le Mans
-Drove the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series around the Nurburgring
-Drove the Lamborghini Diablo GT around Goodwood

Suzuki escudo comfort hard 600pp Tokyo expressway 6 laps pits race on hard no traffic 825.000 clean race u can wall ride. Thank me later

2 grinds of Sardegna, still 400k to buy the Porsche 904...

Nailed a 1:39.xxx at Sardegna with the Audi RS5 :) quite happy with that.

DW gave a 4* which resulted in a WR stage 5 for the Lamborghini Aventador... I would have prefered some Cr. but the wheel was full of things I did not want (another Bugatti invite, camshafts, 5k and another part I forgot.)

Finally got around to the Human Comedy missions.

Tried the 1 hour Alsace, failed. Failed again. And again. Tried Red Bull Ring 1 hour, got 1st by over a minute!

I used the Toyota FT-1 VGT, started on RH, FM4. Timed the first pit so I was just feeling the rain in the last few bends prior, and didn’t lose too much time. Went straight onto full wets, big stint in the rain, then inters as the track dried, full refuel with each stop. The inters were working well and I was ok for fuel so went to FM1 and max attack. Got up to P2, and with about 10 mins to go P1 pitted. I gambled on my already shredded inters and stayed out. It worked, although the last couple of laps were rather hairy.

It was a great race. One of those moments where all the design elements come together and GT7 succeeds in creating the experience Kaz intended. GT7 is flawed, but when it gets it right, it’s incredible 😁

Apparently, I bought my 3000th car while buying Gr.4 cars. Had to be one of the Gr.4 cars I prefer to bin.

Ahhhh, Easter Morning is it ??.. seems like only a year ago that.. LoL!

SO, i'm going to keep this post updated throughout the day as I have much goin' on IRL.. but for now, I've been playin' with my Enzo damn near since I got up at 4AM.. took it out for a nice 3 lap TT only avg'd 1:50 per lap tho', vs. all-time best being @ 1:48 and some change, hmmmm.. not blaming anything on any update, but to drop 2 full seconds.. not sure what to think quite yet, but we'll see.. it's still early.. car still feels the same.. shrugs

(I really do love the sound of that car.. it's so f'n badass)

Bought some OZ's for a cleaner/slightly different look..

Enzo-new wheels.jpg

Grinded Sardegna one last time today to get the Porsche 904, turns out I've finished my race at 0:02 and received a 4* ticket for my daily marathon (which gave me 30k...)

I was scared that the Porsche would be sold out, but it wasn't, maybe tomorrow, but it is in my garage now, so... 🤓

I run the World Finals in Word Curcits for the second time to grind money. I like that race due to being able to actually use my car to it's full extent but not have to deal with tire wear or rain. If the Missions paid more then once I would do them.
I still had to give up my Tomahawks get get that 60s Porche. Wish I would have wrote down the settings first 😕 😪
But, I can rebuy those without a invitation.

Now to choose if I grind to get that Pike's Peak car or the Cobra. And 2.5 M for a Cobra seems a bit to much.
And where's my Chevelle PD!

On the Plus account, I took the 2015 Audi R8 to Sardegna. Despite 6 seconds worth of mistakes, it was good enough to win in 26:44. The second 3-star Wheel of Despair in a row (and 34th of 93 this year) spewed out the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

On the GTP account, I was running a bit short of time, so I took the Honda NSX GT500 to Sardegna for the grind. The 4-star Wheel of Despair was even more worthless than usual, spewing out a semi-racing muffler.

Golded Goodwood, Alsace, Lago Magiorre and Catalunya....that Lamborghini was such a terrible car to drive. Only 2 tracks left to complete the European CEs - La Sarthe and St Croix (can't stand that track). I hate Alsace too but ended up golding it on my second try, hopefully it will be like that too when I do St Croix. Bought the 2000gt and the Cobra. Did 1 grind at Sardegna.

Just a day of grinding Tokyo I only been grinding Tokyo.

Thought of buying that Porsche group C car but had second thoughts don't need it right now anyway.

Plus I'm saving my credits need to get back to 100M.

Did a lot of grinding and buying today. I started by buying two more Porsche 962 C and then put liveries on each. Then I bought every Nissan from Brand Central. Getting all those VGT cars is particularly expensive, I’ve been considering getting the real cars first but might as well get the country out of the way while I’m at it. I did get thirds of all the Ferrari invitation cars since the invitation expires tomorrow. I’ve had awful luck with the wheel of despair lately. 4-star worth 10k yet again. I’ve got over 300 cars collected (I think around 350 in my garage) and my collector points are over 500,000 due to all the legendary cars I have LMAO. I have the day off again tomorrow so another day of VR grinding is in my future.
