Done a grind at Sardegna as I was tempted to buy the Lambo Countach '88 and the SLR McLaren at UCD.

But with my credits + Sardegna, it was not enough, so I bought the SLR and the DeLorean instead. Lambo is new so I'll have time to buy it.
Got a 4* ticket for DW which resulted in the graal for @Chikane_GTR :

I installed the Bore Up S for the DeLorean that was lying on my garage floor since last year, and did the same on the Toyota S-FR Racing Concept. At least those parts will have some use, maybe. A bit less clutter in the garage 🤓

I have a part for a Pagani Huayra, and an invite too, I will buy it soon (expires on the 6th of may)

Finished all sectors in silver for the Nordschleife experience (final lap in bronze for now)
Finished the Nurb' Grand Prix track in silver (sectors + final lap)
Finished all sectors in gold for Sardegna (final lap in silver for now)
Finished all sectors in gold for Spa (final lap in silver for now)

Bought the Audi R18 Tdi

On the GTP account, I decided to see if I could no-stop the Sardegna grind. I grabbed the Honda NSX GT500, put RH tires on it, set the FM map to 6, and set off. I had to short-shift at around 7000 rpm, and at 26:32, it's far slower than doing a 1-stop race, but it will get that job done as there was very little wear on the tires.

I then decided to try a no-stop run at Sarthe with the Red Bull Junior, with the FM map set to 3 to allow an 8th lap if necessary. The weather cooperated, but the 8th lap wasn't necessary as the timer ran out just before the Porsche Curves on lap 7. That caught me up to the Plus account on the grinding schedule.

The insulting parts Wheel of Despair spewed out the same prize as yesterday's 4-star - yet another ultra-high rpm turbo for the RE Amemiya.

On the Plus account, my Gr.4 redo of Sarthe made it to the Chevrolet Corvette. It was fast enough to overcome my tire mistake - I came down for intermediates on lap 3, and not only did the rain stop immediately after I committed to the tires, but the track dried out by the middle of lap 4.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair was slightly more generous than usual - the low-showing prize it gave me was 30,000 Cr. I will be able to get the last car I don't have on either account, the McLaren F1 GTR longtail, tomorrow.

I bought the Honda S600 to complete the Honda Racing Cars menu and get the Super Formula, which I then proceeded to take around Watkins Glen. I then bought the Toyota Prius and Toyota Crown to complete the Family Cars menu. After that I drove my Sierra Cosworth around Goodwood. I then bought the E30 M3 from the used car dealer, modified it and did the WTC600 race around Tokyo Expressway East. My best result was 2nd. After that I took the car around Brands Hatch.

I continued completing menus and unlocked Sport Mode. I’m up to the Trial Mountain championship and will have to complete the National A licence next session.

It’s been worthwhile starting a fresh account and playing through the game completely in PSVR2.
On my old account I only ever played Sport Mode with the headset, so I never really experienced much outside of Group 3/4 cars.
The highlight today was the great interior of a 69’ Camaro.

I managed to have my mic muted again through todays stream, but to be honest there’s not much to say when you’re streaming to an average of 0 people :P

Yeaaaah, opened up the garage, ran Ital./Germ./American./.. just basically had a fun night of racing @ my home-base (TM).. didn't win'm all, but hey that's how it goes.. but, did have a good time listening to my main man George'e while pasting that pavement...

.. yeah, hava' good night fellas'.. this is one cool game.. enjoy!

PS: talk to your friends that you haven't talked to in awhile, it's nice.. it'll make ya smile..

Tried the BAC Mono Human Comedy completely untuned and with SM tyres. Seems to be quite forgiving, but I ended the race after spinning out after around 15 minutes or so, getting a penalty. Doesn't seem as tough as the first HC, even though the fastest lap set by the AI was 2:03:0 and my fastest lap was 2:04:8. Will try and tune it a bit and I'm sure I can find that extra couple of seconds with some practice.

Last go at current TT, improved my best time, 0.2s from gold 😅

4* ticket was showing sexy things like a stash of gold ingots (500k) a Porsche 911 RSR '17, and of course I've got the pile of coins (30k).

[Edit]With the prize from TT (missed the 2M Cr. by .2s 🤪) bought a Pagani Huayra, so now this invite is done.

I took the Veyron to Tokyo I hit car very slightly but enough to lose the CRB on lap 11. So I repeated the race and got the CRB this time. Got a Camaro engine from a 4* ticket. I had a Tuscan Speed Six eating for that engine so I went ahead and put it in. I plan trying to make a Speed 12 replica since that car will probably not make it to the game 😔

I tried and succeeded in another of the WTC800 races, this time at Watkins Glen. Its one of my favorite tracks ever and you can no-stop the 911 RSR going between FM4-5. I would have had the CRB if I hadn't overshot turn 1 trying to pass Hizal. After that, I bought another 962 and tried to find a livery for it. Any recommendations for other WTC800 races where weather isn't a factor would be appreciated as well.

1. Tried (once again) Lake Maggiore 1 hour mission with the RX-Vision GT3 Mazda. Hard level, RM tires, 2 stops: 13th.... :irked:
2. Ticket lottery 3* - won a CHC 1967 Chevy Nova 🤩 (sold at Cr. 103.500)
3. Raced the WTC Championship: 5 races x Cr. 150.000 + Cr. 250.000 = Cr. 1.000.000

Drove all 4 Nissans on Human Comedy Lake Maggiore, 1 loss with the Skyline Silhoutte which is both lacking in acceleration and sipping fuel like theres a hole in the tank.
34/44 done (list here)
29 wins
2 losses (1 of those potentially avoidable to me and one I dont see possible)
3 did not finish

This car can comfortably do a 1 stop on racing mediums, only the last lap before pits and the very last lap will be a bit rough when they are almost worn out.
Always shortshifting at 50% indicator makes the fuel go around the world

Danke @Meythia for your precious informations.
BTW, I play in automatic mode, which is more difficult as I've understood.
My laps were around 2:00:00 which is also not enough, I must drive faster and better.
Tomorrow, I'll test the 911 RSR which is a very good car for this track.

For automatic I guess the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '18 might be a good fit, I didnt require too much of short shifting for the fuel.
Automatic is more difficult because you definitly are using more fuel and I am not sure about traction, with some cars I am intentionally using a higher gear to exit the low speed corner turn 2.

In the interest of fairness as this is the first time Porche has had a "full line" in GT, I picked up the 962. Now hopefully I can get past Neoclassical and the GR1 series races with this thing. I don't like getting cars that don't earn their cost back. Except Muscle Cars. Those I just have to have! That said, I hope this Porche gets me the funds for the Cobra before it gets put back in mothballs.

Also picked up all the "Toyota Family Cars" 4* ticket that got me a Pagani invite I wasn't interested in. Why can't I have the Crown engine PD! It was on the wheel!

Didn't have much time tonight, just enough to bank the 1m credits from the Time Trial silver and empty my funds buying the Veneno (with only 3 hours left on the invite!).

Got a week now to get the 1m Citroen, then I'm going to be waiting for the Bugatti and Pagani invites to appear on the wheel of dud prizes...

On the GTP account, I collected my 1,000,000 Cr. for getting a silver time in the now-expired time trial, then set a decent time that might hold for silver in the fresh one. After that, I took the older Alpine A110 to Autopolis for this week's WRS time trial.

Before I ground Sardegna for the cash with a stock Honda NSX GT500, I collected my lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. from the 4-star Wheel of Despair. With that, I'm just under 4,000,000 Cr., or 3 days of double-grinding, short of the 1997 BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race car, the cheapest of the 4 Hagerty's cars I don't have on this account (the other 3 are 3 of the 20,000,000-Cr. unicorns).

On the Plus account, I continued the Gr.3 retest at Sardegna with the 2019 Audi R8 LMS Evo. Even though it still has some on-throttle oversteer coming out of tight corners, I was able to get the fast lap down to 1:39.6, on the last lap, en route to a win in 26:30.

The 4-star marathon roulette gave me the road-going version of the Lamborghini Huracan, which I held onto for now. Even though I have enough for the BMW McLaren, I held off on buying it in case I get enough money on the GTP account.

I only played for an hour post-work just now. Not going to have time later today.

- Spent my 2 million from the Van time trial on the Jaguar XJR9.

- Refined a livery on one of my 959s and raced it at Tokyo.

- Did a few other random races for fun.

- Got a Hellcat Safety Car (what an oxymoron) from a 3-star ticket. I was pretty surprised, since it was the only car on the ticket, lol. Now I have 4 safety cars.

Tuning the engine swapped M3 '03 is going well but even with max downforce and some LSD tweaking it still sometimes just snaps out of control. Seems to be on the same places so I figure it has something to do with where I am in the rev range. Might also have to learn how to really fine tune throttle input on the controller. It's a blast anyhow! Running it at the Trial Mountain Hyper Parade so at least I get 100k without CRB for about 10 mins of running. Lap times keep improving, right now low 1:50 with maybe another two seconds to find I think. The Roulette hasn't given anything of note the last couple of days.

Did some grinding at Sardegna with the Bugatti VGT Gr 1, McLaren VGT Gr 1, Tomahawk Gr 1, and Lamborghini VGT and a round at Spa with the Audi R18. I saw the XJR-9 in the LCD and bought two more of those and put liveries on them, also noticed the Escudo was limited stock so I bought a third and put a livery on it. Really digging some of the VGT cars in VR, especially after the PP changes in the last update made them much faster for the grinds. I got a 4-star ticket that gave me the Porsche 991 911 GT3 which was better than most of my rewards, although I got a stage 5 weight reduction for the Ferrari Enzo which is something I can actually use, so it hasn’t been all bad lately.

I did some body work on my swapped Tuscan then I looked for a livery but I didn't see anything I liked. Too a couple different cars to Tokyo but I kept going wie on the last hairpin so I quit. I took the CLK LM to LeMans no chicane to see how fast I could go down Mulsanne. Only got to 211 mph but did like a 3:332 lap time which is really good to me. That car is so quick. Got 10k from the wheel

My night of racing consisted of doing the WTC800 races at Daytona and Watkins Glen. Daytona is a no-stop in the 911 RSR if you do some fuel saving, but it’s also the easiest track to do it.

Added more grind to get my first invite Ferrari :
Gran Turismo™ 7_20230414150130.jpg

I will only buy 1 of each 3, it demands already too much grind to my taste, I do no possess the perseverance of people like @Chikane_GTR who are able to grind H24 to get Ms of Cr. 😆(but I am more lucky with the WOD).

3 grinds nearly in a row at Sardegna... I had 2k Cr. left yesterday evening 😅

On the last one I've lapped all the field except Fraga. Not sure I'll ever be able to lap him too, except if he is involved in an accident. Even if I am more consistent or change my FM strategy (currently using FM6 all along, 1 pit stop after lap 10, fueling for 4.9-5 laps and finishing with max 0.2 lap of fuel left)
