For no reason except having fun, I've created a Gozilla Day and played only with my Beast!!

1. Golded the Grand Valley CE and I dedicace this gold reward to the GT-R dynasty !

View attachment 1322074

To gold this CE, you don't need to drive the GT-R brutally but if you enchain curves ones after the others naturally, then this fantastic machine be much faster than you imagine. As usual, my replay is available in game.

2. and then, I've visited Le Mans (for credits reasons) with the same GT-R but with my special livery ♥

I have wonderful souvenirs on track with the R35 GT-R, but also on GT7.
TBH, Godzilla deserves my tribute ♥

4. I've forgot to gold Autopolis CE with the GT-R Nismo GT500. Now, it's done (and the most important point: faster than some beloved friend...)

As usual, the replay.... bla bla bla...

Managed to get gold on Master Licence S-1: Honda Civic on Mt Panorama last night after many, many, attempts....sheesh this was harder than it needed to be! It was quite difficult stringing everything together into one great lap as I kept touching the walls on the top hill section of the track. Other times I lost control or overshot the downhill straight before the final corners. I love this track but man this was a challenge!

Only have S-7, S-8 and S-10 to go for gold!

Btw, why does PD insist on having ****** tyres (Comfort/Sports) on the majority of licence tests?? You want to go fast on the test but these kinds of tyres make it so difficult to have any grip! It's like controlling a boat!!

Today was cool session:

One of the first things I did is embrace the new daily races. Took on the GR86 at Autopolis, a very fun race, composed but hard.
Only silly thing about hard damage in that race, is that when some else had hit me, I sustained the front right wheel damage yet the other driver/rammer, bared no conseqeunce? Odd that. I still managed to finish 5th and boost my rank.

Then did the Michelin Road Atlanta Daily race B, this was fun until one moron rammer, pitted me into the twisties after turn 2 and I spun me 155 V6 Ti into the grass. Lovely, so that killed the first race then I tried again and finished last thanks to another rammer. oh joy! :banghead:

THen moved onto ding sum car testing with my Supra, still a great car with the V12 in it. Very nice.

Then got a 5-star roulette and banked that got 100,000tks, so sweet.

Lastly, I chugged and chugged and nailed the last few remaining MASTER I-AB licences, the Porsche 718 took me almost 50 tries but I perservered and did them all and got the orange LFA, I already had one now I got 2 hey hey! Tuned it up to 708hp which is max allowed for the V10 NA engine in the game, and shook it down at Tsukuba & SS ROUTE X.

Great car. Love the sound handling and Sheer Expereince of it.

After some unplanned days off, it was BMW M3 GT Day at Sarthe. On the GTP account, I tried a 1-stop strategy (FM 4), but rain forced me to a 2-stop 6-lap win. At least I didn't get yet another 3-star Wheel of Despair, but the 4-star did its usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. trick.

On the Plus account, I planned on a 2-stop run, but late rain turned it into 3 stops. I think this is the second play day this year I didn't get a 3-star Wheel of Despair on either account, with the 4-star giving a BMW M2. I hung onto that for tuning purposes.

Today I...

Went crazy and spent 100M.
(Again)

But most importantly I added X20 of the Aston Martin Vulcan and the one-77 and 1 step closer to owning X20 of every invite car.

Which is a personal goal of my.👍

So to recap.

Ferrari Laferrari X20
Ferrari FXX-K X20
Ferrari Enzo X20
Aston Martin Vulcan X20
Aston Martin One-77 X20
Pagani Huayra X25
Bugatti Veyron X29
Citroen GT by Citroen X20
Porsche Carrera GT X7
Lamborghini Veneno X6

And I also don't think anyone will catch my collector points.

Had a few fun runs at Sardegna today, trying out cars I haven’t driven there yet. Ford GT is a whack beast to drive there. I love it for its sound and how fast it is on top speed. But it doesn’t like sharp turns that’s for sure. 😬
Then I finally purchased the Honda NSX Gr.3, which I’ve been looking at for a long time. Woah, that is a lovely car to drive! 🤩
Took it around Le Mans (my favourite relaxing grind…) and had the rainiest La Sarthe race during my time with GT7. Rain started before end of lap 1 and only ended halfway through lap 7! 😅

Golded the Masters S-10 license test on both of my accounts. Now I’m all gold for all my licenses. That 10M credit McLaren MP4/4 really helped the second account with its collector points. At level 46 now. Main account will likely sell the second MP4/4 but it has 98M credits already, so it needs to spend some credits first.

Ran a 10 lap professional difficulty race with the only Group 3 car available offline, BoP/no tuning/RM tires. Tuning wasn't forbidden, I just chose not to.
Pretty much out of the gate I ran 1:59.2xx laps with a 2:00.xxx and a 1:58.xxx lap. I was pleasantly surprised. I used a glitch to hold the Maggiore CE but have started learning many tracks including Interlagos, Dragon Trail, and Lake Maggiore. I know Spa, Le Mans, and Sardegna well enough to run them in my sleep and am unstoppable there. I'm gaining confidence in those others mainly through weekly challenges and times I have to use them.
I've found a car I like, the 26B engine and RM tires are known quantities, and I think I'm ready to win the final Human Comedy race!
But first I need to right a serious wrong. I didn't give Sonic Team's last Saturn game a chance before I sold it. $765 later I hold a copy of Burning Rangers, GT7 is down for a few...time to put out some fires!
EDIT: Burning Rangers hasn't aged badly. It's not as perfect as a 1:29.x lap time at Maggiore but it was a great distraction.
Back to the grind. You said BVLGARI? I'll trade you an insanely hard to find video game for it...NOT!!
EDIT:

Silver reward at Nurb' GP TT + 7 tickets (new menus + weekly challenge + daily marathon) + 2 cars sold = Cr. 4.434.000 🎁

This day my friends, was a GOOD day.

Fired up the game and did the update. Then went in and redeemed my ticket for the new vgt. Also claimed my 250K bronze prize for the TT. Then I ran Sardegna for the 730K and got a 4 star DW ticket. Went back to the world map and noticed that there were 2 tickets sitting in my garage instead of just the one for the DW. Hmmm...went in and looked and one was the 4 star DW and one was for the new VGT. Oh? I'm sure I redeemed that already but OK. So I got the VGT and then the DW gave me 1,000,000cr prize! THen I went into the used dealer and had a look and sure enough I had 2 of the new vgts so of course I promptly sold the extra one for 540K cr. So all told I'm up 2.5 million today. That gave me enough to grab the last of the Ferrari invite cars I needed with about 1.4 million left in the bank.

I didn't do much I took one of my engine swapped MR2s to High Ring for a few laps. I downloaded some liveries for my other MR2s and downloaded some 992 decals. The other day I saw a neon green 992 and wanted to buy one in that color in BC but it is not one of the standard colors. So I have to paint it that color but unfortunately that would remove the decals so I had to hunt some down. I plan on working on that soon

I tried wrapping my limited skills around the new TT. The wheel slip in this car is unbelievable. Also tried the Jimny on Horse Thief Mile - this beast drives as slow as a stock Fiat 500 F. At least they are something new to drive.

I wish everyday was January 25th! :D

Gift ticket for the Genesis VGT saving me a million credits...
Reward for a gold time in the TT - two million credits...
Jimny Menu book complete - 187,500 credits...
Extra Menu Book #34 - 100,000 credits...
Extra Menu Book #35 - Jaguar VGT SV saving me a million credits...
Weekly Challenge + Daily Workout Ticket payouts - 1.35 million credits...

Since it was Update Day, I started off the day on the GTP account by buying a pair of Suzuki Jimnys, painting up the second (and fitting snow tires) for the now-revealed GTWS Nations Cup finale. I would have bought the Genesis VGT, but because I watched a second of the Saturday GTWS event last month, I instead was gifted it. In any case, I put the stats for both cars into my spreadsheet.

After adjusting said sheet for the new engine swaps and noting what I have to buy to (eventually) do the swaps, I took the 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver in the expired time trial and my Extra Menu prizes because I had all 6 cars (indeed, I have all 491 purchasable cars on that account), hoping to get at least 1 of the 4 that one can get from tickets. I didn't, but I got the middle-showing/lowest-possible 100,000 Cr. from the 5-star, and a Toyota FT-1 VGT from the 6-star (sold for 594,900 Cr. as I already had 2). Those proceeds allowed me to get the 6 unique cars with fresh swaps currently available (10 in all with 4 doubles) and widen the doubles.

I ran the GTWS Jimny at Lake Louise for a few practice laps, getting down to a bit under 1:19.9. It didn't take off my roll cage, though the BoP-ing knocked off the 0.09-PP gain it gets with the roll cage and snow tires.

The other Jimny was used for the new Menu Book, stock except for the required tire changes to dirt and snow. At Willow Springs, it was barely enough to get the clean win (0.29 seconds, in 4:58.6) because the AI brakes at the last right-left combo, negating their power advantage (the AI cars act like they're tuned, even on normal difficulty).

The lack of power compared to the AI really became a problem at Lake Louise, so I did a stage 1 weight reduction and added the roll cage I bought for the GTWS Jimny and a full-custom computer chip to bump the power up to 66 hp and the weight down to 2088 lbs. I was still underpowered, but because the AI can't drive well in the snow, I brought it home in a clean 4:07, 1.1 seconds up on 2nd.

The modified Jimny took the last of the Jimny Cup races at Sardegna Windmills by 1.3 seconds in a clean 3:37. Luca wasn't overly talkative when I came back to the cafe, as he tossed the 4-star ticket at me and shoved me out the door. The marathon 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr., while the menu book ticket gave a Volkswagen Scirocco. As I had the 3 I want for now, I dumped it for 16,540 Cr.

The time trial at Monza was calling my name, so I rented a Genesis VGT and gave it a flyer. The car is too greasy, and my 1:43.9 is a full 7.5% off the pace.

I finished the GTP portion of the day with the new Weekly Challenges as follows (with no new pre-race chatter):
  • A stock elderly Alfa Romeo Giulia at Goodwood in a clean 3:36, with another Giulia and a pair of Citroen DS 21s freshly added to the field
  • A S15 Silvia previously tuned for the Silvia Sisters at Deep Forest in a not-clean 5:15, with a couple of 1996 Silvia K's Aeros freshly added to the field
  • A stock Mazda3 Gr.4 at Grand Valley in a clean 10:33, with a Nismo 400R freshly added to the field
  • A stock Honda Civic Touring Car at Brands Hatch by 1.8 seconds in a clean 8:42
  • A stock (with rain tires in the pits) Lamborghini Huracan GT3, using FM3 to set up a 1-stop race (though it turned into 2, with me coming down a lap too early for intermediates), at Tokyo in a not-clean 21:42, with no new content
I left about 150,000 Cr. on the table, getting just over 1.25 million Cr. in just under 50 minutes of racing.

Disappointed, I grabbed the Lexus VGT for the 2 new VGT Trophy races as it had racing medium tires. At Monza, because the Porsche Spyder started so far back and the Genesis started in 2nd behind the pole-sitting Bvlgari (which has racing soft tires, but no real speed) in the Genesis, I survived a massive moment in turn 1 on the last lap to get a 3.6-second win over the Porsche (and 6.3 over the Genesis) in 8:54. That must have cost me the CRB.

The race at Tokyo wasn't as promising, with the Genesis on pole, the Bvlgari in 2nd and the Porsche Spyder in 8th. It took a few resets because I kept scraping things, but because the Porsche got caught up in traffic, I got a 5-second clean win over the Porsche in 9:25.

The Plus account run will be up later...I hope.

Downloaded the new update and bought the two new cars (490/491 total cars), did all the new races - really enjoyed the Jimny Cup and racing on the snow and dirt!

I had a crack at the weekly time trials and got within the top 1000 of the new Genesis trial on Monza but couldn't shave a good 0.5 seconds off my time which I know I can do. Had a go at the Civic one and set a decent time but only silver.

Ideally over the next week I focus on getting gold on the Master Licence tests: S-7, S-8 and S-10 as that's all I need for gold. I suspect S-7 one will be the hardest since I suck at driving American cars though I'm less than a second off gold so it's certainly achievable.

Bought the 2 new vehicles available, fully modded the Jimny and finished the Jimny menu book then bought another to keep stock(ish). Collected my Extra Menu tickets. Completed the VGT Trophy races. Got my daily ticket for miles driven. Completed all the new swaps I could, but didn’t have any spare 190E, AE86 or XJ220 so I’ll wait for them to come up for sale again to perform those.
Then I opened all the tickets I’d been saving to reopen after this update before they expire and ended up getting the same exact cars as prior to update. For some reason I thought the car pool would change after an update but I guess not. Been a long time since I’ve saved and reopened tickets where I won cars.
Finally I started the weekly challenges and plan to finish them after work.

Bought the Jimny, and installed the wide body, side and a the Ray TE37XT. Started building it for the cup, now my Jimny has about 125 hp, went for the mid turbo because it's slightly better torque.
As I had all the cars required to complete the extra menu, got a Ferrari invitation from one ticket (for me was useless) and another Nismo GT3 movie edition. Sorry but I forgot which ticket gave me the car and which the invitation.
I wanted to sell the repeated Nismo and at the UCD I could only one of the movie edition. I checked and I have 3 Nismos GT3, the one I bought when released, the Movie edition I got some time ago with the promotion and the one I got today.

I actually had a pretty good day today. Maybe the most generous since launch.

Completed all 5 weekly races, all the Jimmy events, picked up the Genesis VGT, purchased the Challenger Demon to get the Dodge Cafe ticket.

Also got a 6 star ticket for my daily workout that yielded the LFA which I didn’t already have, which then unlocked the Lexus Cafe ticket prize.

Then somehow there was a glitch and I got a second Genesis VGT ticket.

Not a bad haul and it was generally pain-free.

Now if someone would like to do my drift missions, the Formula and Red Bull Cafe menus that would be great.

Maybe even get me a couple golds I’m missing in some Master license tests..

Today in GT7 I made myself feel dirty.

Still working on getting to grips with manual gears on the second account and having seen a few streamers say how fun daily race A (the Porsche one) is, decide to give it a go and see where I'm at with manual gears vs. everyone else.

Threw down a single scruffy qualifying lap before matchmaking and was surprised to see myself starting in 3rd, and then I realized - this is a new account, I'm DR:E. My main account is DR:B, but... daily A has no DR gains this week, so what the hell! Let's do it!

2 other cars managed to get better starts, so quickly down to 5th. Coming out of turn 2 and into 3 I'm glad that ghosting is on because people are trying to ram eachother all around me. Through lap 1 I worked my way up to 2nd. By lap 4 it became apparent that I'm not the only one racing on a secondary account - I'm 2nd and a solid 4 seconds ahead of 3rd, but 1st is around 6 seconds ahead of me, 8 seconds by the end of the lap!

So 2nd place, 1 position gained and a clean race bonus to boot!
