More Tokyo grind, 3 new cars incoming today (sold out) and another 5 at limited stock, it will be hard to keep up with the LCD. I'm not halfway yet to the Ferrari, last one I want from the current set, 20 mil ugh.

16 minute avg for Tokyo is now very do-able. My best so far for race time was 15:19, and I managed to break the 1:08 FL barrier last night with a 1:07.745. I can still go faster since that was a sloppy lap. The problem is, by the time I'm on mediums and the track is dry enough, the AI is all spread out and manages to get in the way 9 out of 10 times :) It keeps it interesting and the desire for the perfect race very much alive.

Just insane to nearly go flat out in 7th gear through the back stretch. I still need to lift for the bridge part and brake for the sharp right before the hairpin, yet less and less. 565 kph on the straight, better not get in the way (they do, always swerving on the straight and in the braking zone, I got a couple suckers airborne that didn't check their mirrors before changing lanes  )

I put some more downforce and adjusted some other settings for my Viper and took it back to the Pan AMerican championship. The downforce helped it stay planted to the ground and I won very easily. I got 911 (993) 01 and painted it chrome and got it ready for the Porsche Cup I had it 649 but after painting the car it somehow went to 670 PP so i have to add some ballast to get it down to 650. I bought 3 Silvias and SS version of the Treuno. I also won a supra engine but I need to find car to drop it in. I have look at the thread for tht

I've been too tired, or forgetful, to check in. ;)

Sunday did enough runs of the 24 Minutes of LeMans to buy the McLaren F1, but before I earned enough for the Benz CLK, it was sold out. Oh well. Did a few more LeMans runs. Had been using the Murcielago tuned to 699PP with the brilliant strategy of going full out and pitting every lap, because I couldn't get any fuel management to give me a good lap and pit timing, so I pit every lap and still won. Decided to mix things up by running my Ford GT detuned to 699PP. It took several laps to get it figured out because it's just too wild to race like an actual Gr4 car. Entered a race, and to my surprise it gets twice the fuel mileage of the Lambo without using the fuel map, and is even faster to boot. Being careful with it, I won handily. Gonna do more of this.

Monday, spent my winnings in the Used Car Lot to buy several, including two of the Beemer and two Silvia S13 Ks Dias. It was so fun, I bought another. Also a second Diablo, and might buy a third. Oh, and nine Beats for the ten car trophy.

Then I did nothing but race tune my Gr5s. Also tuned the 300ZX for Gr4 racing. It's just too much of a handful as is for Gr3. The Silvia S13 Ks Dia, 180SX, MR2 and Supra MkIII all got a carbon finish and Gr5 treatment. They kept wanting to go too fast so I spent too long detuning them - always overmodify them because I'm a speed zealot. Was tinkering with the Supra till almost 3am. Who needs sleep, right?

Finished my second Sport Race at Tokyo with my PRC Supra :)

Qualified 7th and finished 5th after the front two drivers rage quit from penalties.

Today i was looking for some old replica livery. I had the idea to make a video who show GT3 A-spec while you're selecting a arcade race.. And then remake it in GT7! I managed to find 6 cars who was in the 2001 game, but the hardest things was to tune them to make a close race. here the result of it, i'm pretty happy of the render :

Just tested Shigeno's 86 and it handles great. I think it doesn't need anymore mods but I bought 2 just for the heck of it.

I was playing Moby Dick missions.

Managed gold all until The Pass at Fuji.
This one drives me crazy - when I come near first two, I don't manage to get slipstream to them, and second car, who finishes first, gets slipstream and they fade away at finish straight...
Last two corners are just not something that I can do precise and fast, and that is key here.

However, I have better time then few players from my leaderboard that finished first.
Tomorrow is new day, but I'm not satisfied because I tried hard to get all golds today.
Nightmare. Took me the longest by far, even managed to get past the NSX before the last corner to slipstream 1st. Unreal how fast you have to be on this one

Did my daily workout, got a six star ticket! Wheel of doom actually gave me a car. Cannot remember what it was it was that thrilling. Did many more laps of Tokyo cash machine before it gets closed down tomorrow. Earnt another 9 mil. Couldn't quite get flat through the back section without picking up penalties. Fun trying tho. All was going well when a nice lady invited me for coffee and that was that.
Let's see what the update will bring tomorrow. No doubt something to stop us earning money, winning races, buying cars. Perhaps a brick wall that suddenly appears in front of your car if it looks like you might win. Maybe some machine gun nests on the finish straight to take you out before you cross the line. Whatever, it will be good to have some variety again after tokyo and the tomahawk.

  • Bought two Sileighties, one to keep in perfect stock condition (gave it everything GT Auto had to offer for maintenance) and one to modify. That one is now a 600PP touring car.
  • Bought a Honda Super Formula car and managed to crack a 1:39.8 at Suzuka. Took me a bit. Nothing crazy, but getting under 1:40 was my ultimate goal.
  • Bought the old Alpine A110 just because I could. Going to keep this one stock. I may do a rally build with another one.

Currently bursting my head trying to do these new races, tried so many combinations of cars tyres tunes, even tried a few on here. I'm not particularly fast but I'm not slow either (for the git gud pubes). I'm assuming I've done something wrong with the setup. Tokyo especially, catch no problem 1st lap, get past on straight and the gap jumps to 5/6 seconds and that r35 just appears out of nowhere on the 4th 5th lap 🤣 I'll get it eventually but it's doing my head in

Edit: of all the cars the F12 Berlinetta lol how tf

I had Fun. Lots of fun and enjoyment driving different Cars around different Tracks.
I tuned some Cars, bought some Stuff, took them out on Track and had a Blast driving them.
Seriously, I‘m enjoying this Game so much, I’d even pass on my Wife telling me she’s lonely 😅😉
The Level of happiness I’m feeling driving the Cars is just indescribable.
I play Racing Games for well over 20+ years but this GT7 is just Magic.
Absolutely Magical Stuff and I can’t see myself playing anything else anymore 😁

Grinded out the ol' Tomahawk on Tokyo a few times, out of fear that it'll be nerfed in tomorrows patch. Picked up the BAC Mono in preparation for one of the endurance races, then picked up the Shelby Cobra and now I'm skint.

Finished off last night's attempts at the Bathurst CE, full lap edition. Lucky I love driving that track because it took a fair couple of dozen tries. Lovely circuit, lovely car, but probably not meant to go together!

Also, did 0-100% on Moby Dick. YouTube got me through the fuel saving mission in the old Japanese car, and I almost pulled all of my hair out trying to overtake those Gr3s at Fuji (with a smile on my face, I have to admit).

That Fuji mission 😶 i was nearly doing backflips when I got that, and the 1st sector CE at the schleife is still kicking my gonads... I'll get it dammit lol

I was reminded that the kinds of cars I'd be running in my GT5 WTC500 League won't have widebody mods. DOH. So I bought as many duplicates as I could, and painted all my widebody experiments slate grey. Race modded several cars to my GT5 "spec," then tried the Tokyo bloodbath. I couldn't take it and went back to LeMans for the rest of the night. Used my F430 Gr4 build, which was two seconds faster than my Ford GT, and almost as fuel efficient. Made about 4 mill the honest way, and to celebrate, bought the Genesis Gr4, Epson NSX and AU Lexus Gr2s.

Been looking for somewhere to run my F1 GTR. With a bit of ballast and de-tuning, it'll drop nicely into the 800pp Le Mans race and with RH tyres and a frugal fuel map, will breeze 5 laps without pitting. Ended up over 40 secs ahead of the field who all pit twice. Been doing the 30 min Gp.3 LM race too - enjoying having to second guess the weather for tyre strategy and picking up 825k with the clean race bonus (even when I stick it in the barrier when I get caught on slicks in the rain).

Tried a few online lobbies, but there's always someone in a Tomahawk ruining the racing. Had a bit of qualy with a guy in a Clio V6 - he starts the race then appears on the grid next to me in a bloody Tomahawk. Quit straight out.

Even though I was going to take the day off as there's no GTWS and the dailies aren't great I've still done two Race C's, Bronzed a handful of CE's for the cash, bought the LaFerrari and AMG Tourer, did a few laps in each, took photos, started a livery and ran a couple of test laps for the next nations and manu.

Oh dear :dunce:

A lot of variety for me last night:

  • Bought the Nissan Gr4 and imported livery from GT Sport
  • Bought the Megane Trophy Gr 4 and made a Jeff Gordon Pepsi #24 livery for it
  • Did the Fuji circuit experience - got bronze reward
  • Ran the Manu race at Fuji for Aston Martin - Q12 / P14 - my lack of talent at Fuji continues from GT Sport to GT 7 :)
  • Ran the Daytona Gr3 10-lap race for the first time. Used the AMG and finished last. Need to work on this one!
  • Ran the Dragon Trail Gardens Gr4 10-lap race for the first time. Used the Megane Trophy and finished 2nd. The Trophy was one of my favorite cars in GT Sport and feels great in GT 7 well so far.
  • Bought the Porsche Gr3 car
  • Bought the Red Pig and the old Alpine from the legendary car dealership. Those seemed to have reasonable prices compared to the other legendary cars.

Did a bunch of circuit experiences. Cranked my '20 Supra up to just under 700 PP and went racing at Suzuka. Heavy rain all 5 laps made me think I'd accidentally tossed in Dirt Rally, which I'm perfectly comfortable with. Grabbed a stock GTR and did the Tokyo Skyline race. Nice pit maneuver by Ordonez on the final lap lol.
