What did you do in GT7 today?

Did the trucks menu book (that Daytona race is the first low point I’ve had in gt7 - boring waste of time ). Finished ib licence all gold, did a mission, did a sector of horse thief mile circuit experience, tuned a 2015 mustang which is now my quickest car as proven by time trials at Brands and mount panorama.

Tomorrow will do the Chevy menu book, start next licence, finish 2nd mission set, finish horse thief mile cx and tune the ‘69 Camaro muscle car.

Did some more WTC700 races. Bought the little Suzuki Swift GR4 since the AI does amazingly well with it. Wow, that thing is awesome right out of the box. Took it directly from the dealer to the Dragon Trail race. Lap 3 and it started POURING, turning my race into an ice race. Took ages for the rain to end. The guys in the blue Viper and black NSX did their usual tomfoolery and got in the way lol. Fought back hard to take 2nd.

Did more races at Monza in the Veyron. Here is my first Rank B race.

P5 picks up a penalty Lap1 so I lose my slip stream and P1-4 take off leaving me as Leader of the Rest. I race a brilliant defensive race. Video captured a lot of the action from the mid and back of the pack and a little P1/2 action. Hope you enjoy, took a while to set up the camera shots and edits properly.

Wish we had the Hold L1 to change cars, cycling thru cars makes the edits look ugly.

I've just had the game hang on the race start loading screen for Race A 3 times in a row. ****ing brilliant work PD, you should be proud.

Race B on PS4 has been stalling during load occasionally. When it stalls it takes about 2 minutes till the race starts and then we're missing a racer or two from the lobby. Stalled in 3 of my 7 races today

Acquired the Plymouth Superbird today. I also decided to get the Sundance Yellow Trans Am. I can never have too many muscle cars.

I also decided to create a Pantera GT5 replica after buying a second Pantera from the UCD. Forgot to put on the widebody today, so I will do that tomorrow.

I searched for a sheet/schedule that someone on this forum made. It was about the race duration and payout etc. I couldn’t find it :yuck: anyone?

Completed the 730 pp race at Maggiore as a warm up then also won the one hour endurance mission challenge at the same track with the 911. I ended up doing a 1 stop with hards and ran fuel map 2 for about 3/4 of both stints to make the 15 laps.

In GTS I would just short shift in fuel map 1 for a race like this, but in GT7 that seems slower than changing the fuel map.

I did 10 Laps Deep Forest 700PP and red Bull Ring 10 laps 700PP with my new fully modded 670 PP 95' Honda Integra I just bought from the LCD. Won both, but the red Bull Ring was hard, I won by 4 seconds, had I not switched to mediums at the pit stop on lap 5 I would not have made it to the first place.
And when chasing down the leading Supra Group-4 in hard rain on slicks on the last lap I missed the gear twice, that cost me 2 seconds easily.

I can recommend both Integra's, fully modded, for those 700PP events. They are really fun and its pretty cool to beat 2015 and younger racecars with a car from the mid 90's. Even the fuel mileage of the old Integras is really good.

Ran EURO 600-700 pp races for a 3 star roulette ticket, got a 5K coin pile. :banghead: Bought some Civics and decide I wasted my money. Thankful I got the 25th anniversary Countach. What a fun car. Had a remote control one as a kid in yellow

Hah, same here, got a 3 star today and of course I got the 5K instead of the two gold bars.

Also, at this rate I will never get an engine for swaps. I have been playing the game every day now since it was released and have not gotten even one single engine.

Just one grind race for the daily ticket, no engine, wasn't worth the time. (10K)

Just waiting for the LCD and UCD to serve up the cars I miss to create old era endurance race line ups. Any chance the next patch will add the ability to save custom race settings and custom race grids? :/

Did my daily mileage and got a 3 star ticket that won 100K.
Entered a few sport races and got my DR up to A. The racing in sport races is a lot more fun now.
Tried and failed to beat my WRS time for this week.
Entered the weekly WRS online race for tomorrow.

played 4 races with the tomahawk... got 4 million right now... just bought the s2000 and Civic type r touring... will buy the enzo tomorrow and continue the grind with the tomahawk... but that will complete my invitation buys

I finally got gold on Sardegna Circuit Experience. HELL. YES.

After some testing and tune with cars, I decided to do another Circuit Experience: Dragon Trail. I got gold and just enough to buy the Jaguar XJR-9. Fitting, since Dragon Trail CE car is a Jaguar F-type GT3.

Couple races later I bought the 25th Anniversary Countach.

With 2 CEs down, I thought it would be a good idea to try Fiji and Autopolis. Fiji was somewhat difficulty, but I got gold in the end. Autopolis on the other hand... the last sector was brutal to me. I just couldn't get it right. Many, many tries later I finally got gold, so I bought the Mazda 787B!

Since I got many things done, I decided to try my luck for the bazillionth time at the Maggiore Challenge with the Pegout RCZ. First try was no good with a 1 stop strategy. 2nd try racing with mediums and 2 stops is the way to go AND I FINALLY GOT GOLD IN THIS TOO!

Tomahawk Tokyo chop for about 15 million. Bought
  • Plymouth Superbird '70 in Legends
  • Abarth 595 SS '70
  • Golf I GTI '83
  • 3x Integra Type R '95
  • 2x Civic Type R Touring Car
  • 2x Lancer Evolution IV '98
  • 2x S2000 '99
  • 2x R32 GTR V-spec II '94
  • Huracan LP 610-4 '15 - tuned it to 599.80 but wasn't fast enough for Tokyo
  • R8 4.2 '07 - tuned it to 599.80 also, but wasn't fast enough for Tokyo
Also tried the Alpine A220 Race Car '68 but wasn't fast enough for Tokyo. Someone suggested the Pagani Huayra, but if that doesn't work, I'm just not fast enough in ANY normal car for Tokyo. So I guess if they clobber the Tomahawk and don't make the event any easier, I'll never touch that sewer pudding again. I hope they leave The Chop alone, because it makes that race so darn fun. While I manage to keep the nerfed Red Bull Jr pointed the right way - for all of a lap - the race is a real hoot with it, and the RE Amemiya RX-7 is a blast too, but I just can't win. If Tokyo wasn't so damned hard, it would be a fun race.

Also did maintenance on the poor used and abused Tomahawk and RE Amemiya RX-7.

Tomahawk Tokyo, Sardegna and Le Mans 30 multiple times in multiple different cars. Bought all the invite cars except the Porsche as I had it. Few WTC races too. It’s almost 5 am and am awake after 4 hours sleep. Having real problems staying asleep so just ordered some Ambien as I need my sleep. Just bought the GT500 GTR and about to spank everyone at Sardegna. Going to be grinding like mad before the update to get as much credits as I possibly can. Hope we get more 30 minute races in the update at the Traditional 24hr tracks. Just bought an S2000 from the used car dealer to make a little monster.
Praying to Jeebus for a 787 engine or a big V8.

Took another crack at the Autopolis one hour race with the Beat, and I managed to win by over a minute, and set the fastest lap.

Did fuel trim 3, and eased on the turns this time around.

I really hope this next update adds some shorter races similar to the human comedy. The Roadster, Classic car, and Kei car races remind me of older GT installments.

Tried tuning the alpine A220 race car to be faster, but i just made it worse. good thing i know the stock settings.

Get a Lamborghini Murcielago and de tune it. If you can’t do it in that just lower the difficulty. I had to rebuild engine and stiffness in my Tomahawk too. Got a lovely Martini paint job for it.
I love the Amemiya RX7 too. Desperate for an engine for an RX7.
