In no particular order:
-Bought the Plymouth Superbird and took it to Daytona
-Modified my 350Z and took it out to Willow Springs
-Drove my stock BMW M3 E46 on Willow Springs
-Drove my Evo 6 TME on Willow Springs
-Did the WTC 800 race at Daytona in the CLK-LM
-Did the circuit experiences for Suzuka and Autopolis

I did 2 races of Daily Race A which is/was VW Scirocco R with Comfort Soft tires on Brands Hatch.
First one, I qualified 1st, screwed up on the first corner, dropped to 3rd, finished 2nd, went from DR E(just started to play online) to DR D.
Did it again, Finished 4th when qualified 6th.

But both races were made bad by AFK players.
On the first race, the race was essentially a FULL COURSE YELLOW with about 75% of the course under yellow, the places where there was no yellow are not overtaking zones.

Second race was so so.

PD should implement an AFK feature where it kicks players after no input, if they stay with in a sector too long or get lapped twice.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon and early evening throwing the Tomahawk around Tokyo....
Whilst the credits were nice; I now have a Ferrari 330....😎
the main benefit is I now know the track; at over 200mph you don't have time to see which way the next corner goes, you have to know instinctively.
Will now throw the Tomahawk around some other tracks I need to learn; yes I know the grip is different - it's mostly the flow of the corners and relative braking effort for corners...

played 3 races on tokyo with the tomahawk...i will definitely play more later today... trying to grind as much as possible before the inevitable update which might remove the exploit...i didnt even know you can play spotify while playing gt7... talk about a game changer and makes grinding the tomahawk not as bad... listening to poker face lady gaga while cruising in gt7 👏

  • Did more Circuit Experience with the wheel, but decided to give up on the current setup with it (For now) It's just not the one. My back and neck are getting destroyed and still need a lot of time to practice. My times are abysmal. Got some tips and motivation from @scooterlord to try a Wheel Stand Pro, so probably ending up buying it. Also @xMAXIx79, thanks for your words as well, appreciate it!

  • So, after that decision i did more Tokyo grinding, probably also for the last time as they going to patch that most likely on Monday. And I'm sick of it as well. Got to 100 million, finally.

  • And after reaching the credit cap i bought everything in the Used and Legendary Car Dealers and some more invitation cars and just cars i like in general.

  • Got a 4 star ticket today and this is what i got, yay.

That's it for today!

After yesterday when I decided to try the tomohawk glitch I decided to get back to normal today. Some fun in the Ferrari 458 gr4 and gr3 cars.
Slowly working through the various track events at present

Did a bunch of CE around the world. Did Lemons in the Alfa 4c a few times. Had a couple of sessions with the hawk. My garage now has most of the cars I want apart from a few gr4 and gr3 and I have enough cash if and when the 917k reapears. The hawk is now parked up and I can race the cars I want to without worrying about missing out on something for lack of cash. The fun begins here.

I did the Kei Endurance 3 times.
1st time, I got 2nd being only 6seconds behind.
2nd time, I got 2nd being only 15seconds behind.
3rd time won it by over 30seconds,
The S660 being tail happy even with ARB on the rear set to 1 lost me a lot of time each attempt.

Did the Tomahawk Tokyo Chop, won around 15 million. Then in the middle of a race, I had to deal with a drug casualty brother demanding money from me I didn't have to give, but I gave in, and thus began an adventure.

Went to my bank, but the ATM wouldn't dispense as much as he wanted, so after a few more tries I finally got a wad of cash for him. Got some Taco Bell because I was almost out of food and didn't want to deal with cooking anyway. Came home and nervous of what he might say about being short sheeted, I left my keys in the ignition, and absent mindedly locked the door - while it was running no less. He was actually gracious - which he should be after all the money he'd borrowed for almost a freaking decade, and left me a pair of powered QSC loudspeakers for my trouble. I told him I locked my keys in the car and he did his best to try breaking in, but to no avail. Had him call the police for me to get into the car before he drove off, and didn't know that they had dropped the "helpful break-in" policy, whereupon I sat waiting for about an hour for assistance which wouldn't come.

Walked to the police station to get some help, but the place was inaccessible and no way to speak to a human. Trudged back home, wondering what to do, and watched as a young possum crawled past me and under my front landing. Then I remembered that I had AAA, the yutz that I am, and went to the neighbors to use their phone to call. Was told it was going to be about an hour, which was looking dicey as it was growing dark with thunderstorms creeping in. And sure enough, we had a thundering downpour shortly afterward, worthy of one of the epic storms at the Nordschleife. I fled to my neighbor's front porch while lightning put on a show and I was drenched. It took a while, but the guy showed up just after the rains quit and I urinated in the back yard, but don't tell anyone. Retrieved my keys and gave him my thanks, then went to check out my wet speakers and soggy burritos I forgot to grab.

I'm still a little wet, and the game is still paused, waiting for me to resume my march to whatever tens of millions I can make before Monday night. But not tonight, I'm beat and more than a little tired of this life right now. :indiff:

Much relief after a quick hour or so this morning - finally managed to complete the 1-lap attacks to achieve all gold trophies on St Croix and - at last! - Le Mans! I'll freely admit that I had to turn on counter-steer assist for the Peugeot at Le Mans, but needs must when using a controller and trying to find almost 3 seconds from my previous best! Had to turn up the controller sensitivity to 7 as well.

I did two things while racing Toyota 86 gr.4 on Le Mans and was blown away by the effects.

1) Cockpit camera wobble set to 2 - Wow, what a new level of game immersion. Track elevation changes, turns profile dimensions, car weight transfer - all this things have stronger feeling

2) Headphones instead of TV speakers - blow off sounds, gearbox whining, suspension work under heavy cornering, tires scrubbing on kerbs suddenly pop-up to my ears. That was yaw dropping 😱

I strongly reccomend to You guys doing the same.

Trying to decide if I should buy another Countach. I usually don't buy multiple of the same car as I kinda think it's a waste... but I am going against that for my favorite car ever (though I prefer the Euro tail lights). Current one is red, but want one to be lack because Cannonball Run!

I can hear the music in the background as I look at this photo.

I did the BAC Mono Endurance, came in 2nd.
So I decided to do it again and change my strategy from using fuel map 2 for first stint and gun it with fuel map 1 then do an undercut.
Was working until the last 10min, was 1st then the I rear ended an AI on the dip after turn 2.
I hit the barrier, lose 5 seconds to the AI in the guy in 2nd, I get a 1.5 second penalty, get passed at the straight at the tunnel.
I get pissed and close the game.

Got a 2 star ticket and won a Lexus. Did not expect that! 😊

Also I finally finished the Red Bull Ring 1 hour challenge with my Subaru WRX Gr. 3. In first place this time. WHOOO!

I have to say the pace was insane, started with mediums and I had to do low 1:32's / high 1:31's to stay in the game, every lap felt like a qualifying lap just to keep up.
At around 32 minutes in the rain started, but the first 5-6 laps it was only a couple drops, cars that pitted during that time put on racing hards or mediums, those fools.
I managed to extend my pit stop till the rain started in earnest, then I put on rain tires - the rain was so bad it was maxed out on my rain detector. The race leader pitted one lap later, also putting on rain tires. Then things got wonky, he spun out and had troubles, yellow flag was out multiple times, I passed him and my lead quickly extended to 50 seconds.
Pitted once more when my rain tires started to delaminate at around 10 minutes before finish, back to mediums, won very easily. I only spun once in a hidden puddle.
My back was soaked with sweat when I finished, that was intense.

Camera wobble 2 with headphones with a nice sounding car is what I would call next gen.

Highly recommend to do a Tokyo street track with those at night. Simply amazing.
