What did you do in GT7 today?

On the GTP account, I took my 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver in the freshly-expired time trial. As my Spa time fell to bronze, I first brought it up to a marginal silver with a just-under 2:45.4 lap. After that, I hit Trial Mountain, where I got a decent silver time of just under 1:55.2.

Naturally, I got the first 3-star Wheel of Despair on this account this year. It was, as usual,, the low-showing prize, this time 10,000 Cr.

I did the Weekly Challenges more-or-less honestly. For the Northern Isle Sunday Cup, I grabbed the older Alfa Romeo Giulia, didn't see the Suzuki Cappuccino that others did, and finished with an easy win in 1:56. The parts ticket gave some titanium connecting rods/pistons for a car where I could use them.

Despite spamming the DRS button on the Porsche 992, I finished 2nd in my first attempt at Autopolis. I decided to circle back after the rest of the races and some tuning.

I took the newer Alfa Romeo Giula to Brands Hatch European Clubman Cup for an easy win in 5:05, the ex-Tokyo grind (which ballooned up to almost 609 PP) tune Nissan R33 to the Tokyo GT-R Cup for another easy win in 8:56 (while seeing the Nismo 400R), and a Red Bull X2019 with max downforce and RS tires to Trial Mountain for a nail-biter of a clean win in 22:07.

After collecting my prizes, I went back to Autopolis with a tuned Porsche 992 (racing air filter/racing muffler/racing manifold/carbon brake system/racing brake pads/racing clutch and flywheel/engine balance tuning, polished ports, high lift camshaft s, titanium conrods and pistons/racing crankshaft), now good for 698.48 PP and 705 hp. I again had to spam the DRS to get a 1.2-second clean win in 9:46.

It was annoying to have to tune the Porsche and spam its DRS, but over 1.5 million Cr. between the races (all with CRBs) and bonuses in just under 48 minutes isn't too bad.

On the Plus account, I went a different direction in the 992 tune - specifically handling (sport soft tires/weight reduction 1 and 2/increase body rigidity/racing clutch and flywheel/carbon propeller shaft) to get it to 699.22 PP. I tested it out at Northern Isle Sunday Cup, lapping the no-new-cars field in 1:29.

At the Autopolis one-make race, it was much more stable, and faster, than the power build I ended up using on the GTP account. Even without touching the DRS, it was an easy 4.9-second win in 9:38.

I finished with the Porsche portion of the Weekly Challenges at Brands Hatch European Clubman Cup in 4:44.

2024 is starting much like 2023, with my second 3-star Wheel of Despair of 3, and 3rd of 6th between the 2 accounts, of the month showing up. Surprisingly, it didn't give the low-showing/lowest-possible 5,000 Cr., but the Mazda Roadster, which was flipped for 46,560 Cr.

I also took my 6-star parts ticket, which gave carbon brakes for a car where I can use them.

I had a R32 NISMO show up at the Tokyo Nissan GT-R Cup. I countered with a stock R35 NISMO, and Godzilla smashed in 8:56.

It wasn't pretty or clean, but I did a 9 RM/5 RS strategy at Trial Mountain X2019 on a max-downforce Competition for a win in 22:23

Completed the weekly challenges and sold a couple gift cars because they finally got to what I’m sure is, or at least is close to, a sale price peak before they plummet again.

ZEE
"Mastered" some Master licences in th B & A category. Almost completed the A category ones. I did the B ones a few days back and got a car I already had, the silly ford roadster and then sold that at the UCD.
I got all the master license golds except for the final one, which will probably take me months to get, if ever. :indiff:

Ran some TT’s at TM, the first four Weekly races, LeMans once. Got 10k from the regular wheel spin and a Stage 5 WR for a 2017 Nismo GT-R from the 6-star Weekly ticket.

Today I:

  • collected a silver million from the Fuji TT
  • completed 3 out of 5 weekly challenges (saved the X2019 and the Porsche one make for later)
  • collected the 6 stars ticket parts and the 200k ticket.

  • bought a 2nd Pagani Huayra
  • installed a wide body on my 1st Pagani Huayra, with the intention to tune it and make it more alike a race car.

- then I went to Sardegna, just to find out that the car's performance actually got worse. Breaking time got longer and understeer became a problem. Yesterday I ran the same car at the same track, so that's why I can feel the difference. Other than the wide body I bought/changed nothing. I know that when getting a wide body we should fit wider tyres which the game does automatically, right? Or should I manually buy a new set of tyres and fit'em in the car?

Anyway.... It got me by surprise that the performance got worse instead of other way around. I'll probably forget that tuning project then.

I raced every single Manufacturer's Cup race in GT3 today. Won 4 of the 10 races and raised my DR from D to B.
Just FYI, if you're eyeing your position in the Manufacturer's Championship, the race that gets counted for each round is the Last one you enter. NOT the best result.

Either way, that's a lot of races to do and won a good portion of. Good job on the DR promotion!

This morning when i turn on the ps4 , went to check used dealer and legend one to check if there was anything new car i do not have and could afford.
Surprise 787b on sale but had 1m3 so needed 2 more .
So i i went do a Quick tc700 at le Mans with the escudo.
Then my litle Esther came downstair watching and i ask her if she wanted to do a race .
So she did 2 , first she end second After having small trouble at Pit stop as i let her alone do her run.
So she decide to do a second one for the win with me on side as ''engineer'' 😂😉✌️.
All good she won.
Don't remember what we did to grab the few bucks we still need , anyway we end up having enough to afford this 787b, and i let Esther do the buying and to run it first .
If some wonder Esther drive most of the time with all assist on long race.
She start on smaller category and the driving licence to have less assit, and as long she enjoy it it's perfect.
Then this afternoon i took z go twice on sardegna tc800 with the 787b for easy chill grinding.
Elie drive a bit also trying car like jeep , fiat 500 , our s800 fully tuned etc doing it in a paddock lobby . That give me time to explain that while playing online if you are really slower you must try to not keep on best Line , to be carefull of other. He listen even if it was a bit difficult seing some diving on him on purpose , or other taking circuit on reverse.
That's ours litle aventures of the day in gran tourismo world

Today was a cool session - did these things in order of action:

  • Toook part in the Daily Race A with the LEXUS LFA on Fuji- tht was fun but onyl got 6th. Tyres were choppy on such a techincal course.
  • Then took the SUpra for online TT at trial mountain - so far only got a 1:56min time, hope to imporve this.
  • Went to the few weekyl races and did 4 out of 5 of them, left the last Red bull x2019 till tomo.
  • Then gained some credits form all those to go and pslah out on a FERRARI F40 at the LCD Hagerty. That car is nice in Rosso red!
  • Proceded to test it at Tsukuba and it drove very well, then tuned to 912bhp and shifted its lightweightness, mods & BBS rims and good to go!
  • Some high speed runs at Tsukaba, quick cornering very swift and agile, then onto SSX and clocked about 260mph.
  • Lastly ended with some drift scpaes and sightseeing with his F50 friend.

Good gaming sesh today! :D Images below:

It was another ho-hum grindy day at Sarthe. On the GTP account, it was the Renault Megane Trophy for a 4-star ticket bearing the car I just raced. I hung onto it so I can further tune the one I already had.

On the Plus account, it was a harrowing, 3-attempt run with the Mazda3. I crashed out of the first attempt relatively early, I didn't anticipate the late-lap 5 rain the second one, and I barely made the intermediates I took on lap 4 last (the left-front was completely red) the third time. Of ****ing course I got my third 3-star Wheel of Despair of 4 this year (and 4th of 8 between the 2 accounts), for the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

Run one race at Spa with TSO 030 to keep in touch my self with the bollards for the TT.
I did about 15 laps at TT with Alfa but still no improvement, just again on 42's .
What surprised me at the race was the radar screen that i face for the first time ever being so much blue .
I have play at la sarthe way more than 500 times but never see this .

Yeah, Spa have a terrible weather sometimes...

How was the race with the TS030? Easy win?

Can't say wasn't easy but at rain Bugatti gr1 is more comfortable.
One stop at 8 lap ( rain caught me out ) and FM6 till the end .
Don't know what settings you use that you're able to run this without refueling but yea , its economic on fuels and very fast if you step on it .

Yeah, FM6 from the start to the end: no need to pit for refueling.

At least the RW tires won't wear out. :)

A handful of laps on Watkins Glen with the Nissan GT-R GT3 (2018), Corvette C7 Gr.3 and C3. The focus was on setup work, and I may or may not have borrowed one from @miumiu79

Decided that I wanted know what the C3 would be like if it went all out, so I took one of the duplicate cars and added a widebody + all the other upgrades bar the engine swap. Then I hopped into some Free Run lobbies and ran a few laps. Got annoyed by the stuttering and attempted to join the Nordschleife paddock with no success.

Went to time trial...

Time is now moving faster than I can perceive it. Or in other words, I'm sleepy.

Good morning night, yall.

Was a good day on gt7.
I put the ps4 on this morning, and as usual check first used dealer and legend one , to check if there IS anything i do not own yet.
I buy on priori used and legend , because brand New one exempt the ticket one are Always available.
As i start the game everyday i have one or two used one to but.
At LCD , surprise the silver arrow on sale.
Well let go grinding a bit at la Sarthe and Spa.
Spa was really wet , and about ten minute left i made m'y last stop and decide was time to go back with RH, nothing on météo radar . Well not the best Idea of the day rain came back a few turn later and managed a lucky third place. I really like this weather change.
So i bought thé Sauber , then i did quite a lot of Circuit Expérience to bronze for cash and discovering a bit further the game. Still two on Tokyo to do and i will have all the bronze.
Then as Esther join me and made a few race we had enough for the F 40 .
Bought it as i was quite sur it will put me to lvl 50 collector. So it did.
Then now we could swap engine ,Elie and Esther were with me and we decide to swap engine in integra type R as we had 2 if them.
So we did , then we put all the tunin part we could in it. Enlarge it , put aero and kid decide for the paint job. I end with a pinky integra with green wheel.
Esther test it first on a small race.
And as it was almost 700 pp , i said we should try it AT le Mans 700 pp touring car race.
Both kid say yea have a try.
Well was a win .
End of afternoon Elie Ask me why i did not put the New tuning part in the s800.
So i checked and yes can some the last you get .
Did it , and then tried the car using race of turbo at Suzuka. Best result was third but i use that to go on setting , trying to get it by myself not just using someone else one.
Had good result car handle much better.
Should be able to win that with that litle sleeper.
Sorry again a long post

1. I've reached a new level of GOD, thanks to the Trial Mountain TT... :irked: :banghead:

2. I let off steam on Fisherman's Ranch CE and found another gold mine with the Mitsubishi. The lap is far from perfect, due to an crash miraculously saved (sector 5). See the replay in game, you'll understand... Without this "crash", I would be in 3:05. Anyway, it's a valid CE gold and I've banked these unexpected 2 millions :D

1704566638360.jpeg

Still 4 americans CE to gold: Laguna Seca, Grand Valley, Colorado Springs, and Willow Springs with the 'Stang.

3. Finished the day with a courtesy visit at La Sarthe with Godzilla (nice weather today, nearly no need to pit for rain tyres) for credits reasons :dopey:

I started the day figuring out my strategy for the GTWS. I decided on a 4 RH/10 RM one for my Corvette, while not having a lot of speed (mid-2:07 in tire testing). I got it down to mid-2:06 in the official test on mediums, but I decided against qualifying in my low-point (5 for 1st-4th) D/S room. That was sub-optimal, as I could have easily taken the pole, which went in 2:10.6, but instead I went off 16th/last.

My race wasn't brilliant, with 2 wall-scraping penalties coming out of Quarry Corner. Fortunately, most of the others had more penalties and less pace. By the time I came down at the end of lap 4 for my mediums, I was 7th, and came back out 11th. The cycle of stops got me to nearly the front, but lapped traffic figured into the decision. I had the lead going into Griffins Bend, alongside the 2nd of 2 lapped cars, and I felt I didn't quite keep it inside far enough when I heard a crunch behind me. I let the other lead-lap car through and saw he picked up a wall-scrape penalty. I didn't want to win like that, and there wasn't a matter of points (the same 5 were available for 1st through 4th), so I kept him in front of me through the penalty area, and couldn't quite get by in the last 3 corners. I did have both a clean race (for 112,050 Cr. including the CRB) and the fastest lap (2:07.8) though.

It did also bump up my DR slightly, as I had door #8. On review, I should have just drove on, because the other lead-lap car just sent it too hard.

I think this is the last week I need to do daily races to get to 50 Sport races by the end of the Nations Cup, so I rented a Lexus LFA and went to Fuji. I started 8th and last, the last to not take a time, in a mixed A+(one of the others to not take a time)-to-D room. Thanks to offs, I finished 7th, while everybody was stomped by the random alien.

I rented a Corvette for Daily B at Suzuka, and didn't set a time. I started 13th of 14 in a D/mostly-S room, 3rd of 4 who didn't take a time. I finished 8th, thanks to a somewhat-sutble shove from 7th at the end.

I rented another Corvette for Daily C at Catalunya, starting 14th of 15, and 3rd of the non-qualifiers, in a mixed C/D room. I finished 9th of 11 who took the checkered flag thanks mostly to dropouts. My DR is slightly higher coming out of the slog than going into it, with 8 Sport races (1 Manufacturers Cup, 4 Nations Cup and 3 Dailys) until I'm done with Sport mode.

For all that, I got a parts Wheel of Despair bearing titanium rods and pistons for a car that, at least, I can use it on.

On the Plus account, I rented the Toyota Supra GT500 at Suzuka, setting off 15th and last in a mixed C/D room. Thanks to a spin coming off the chicane, I finished 12th and last of those who didn't drop out. One more bad finish and I'm right back to E.

I rented the Renault Megane Trophy at Catalunya, starting 14th/last, and 2nd of the non-qualifiers, in a D/mostly-S room. I took my stop on lap 5, and thanks to carnage, I finished 7th of the 12 who stuck around, and got the tiniest bit of DR boost.

I finished the Daily Race Trio with a rented LFA at Fuji, starting 9th and last (the 2nd of the non-qualifiers) in an all-D room. Thanks to a pair of dropouts and a massive mistake, I finished 6th.

The 4-star gave the usual lowest-showing prize, but since it wasn't a Wheel of Despair, that prize was 500,000 Cr.

Today was a funny session to say the least, but not for all good reasons: :sly:

  1. I tackled the Trial Mountain online TT and got a good 1:55 time, so improvement, will upload some snaps later tomorrow.
  2. Started to knaw thru the Master licences B section and got most of them done and the FINAL EXAM, unlocked the AMG black series, which I want to modify alot, then tune and fix that god aweful exhaust note if possible.
  3. The proceeded to do the Manufacturer round 2 race 3 at Mount Panorama circuit, but after the free practice and time trial the game couldnt matchmake me even though there was like 25 secs to go. So ditched that and moved on.
  4. Proceeded to do the Nations cup X2019 race update at Trial Mountain and this was very fun. Kyle Droumonts AI wass so frikkin evil that on the 7 or 8th lap he decides to try and pit me, spun me out on the second to last corner before the pit lane opening and doesnt even get a penalty, they just ran off (Serrano AI and Drumont AI) to the pits as if nothing happened. I won the race in the end, will upload a clip tomorrow to illustrate my point and how bad the penalty system doesnt work.
Gran Turismo Ps5 GIF by PlayStation

enjoying suzuka s section flatout for daily KM .. now I will try with superformula 🤣🤣🤣🤣

NOTE: 1433 front downforce ( 1500 u will lose too much speed over corners ) / 1990 rear
camber 1,2 - 2,0 rear
full suspenssion path in front for curbs, stiffest for back so that car slide a bit at rear ( soft steady wheel input ) "back camber of 2 helps with stability "

weird fun to have

I bumped my last remaining Bronze licenses up to Silver, so I now have 100/100 Silver licenses, albeit with only 81 Gold for now.

I also golded 'The Pass' in the 'Moby Dick' Mission at long, long last. It's kind of dumb, as the AI cars are in different positions from attempt to attempt, and sometimes it is just not possible to set a quick time because the AI cars are blocking a fast corner.

Today I got 1:16.6xx something like three times, so I restarted and the AI cars obligingly changed. I was then knocking in 1:14.2xx on a regular basis (three times in a row, in fact), but still only good enough for 2nd - that was doubly annoying as a friend got 1st place with a slower time.

I finally managed a 1:13.9xx and 1st place, but I wasted far too much time on it. Glad it is done now, and I should get the 'All Gold' car for the Mission tonight.

So today,
Run Sardegna tc800 twice with the Mazda.

Gold a few CE sector.

Bought all the special paint , almost all wheel and 8 more R8 Gordini to have Ten.

Then it was Lucie my wife that drive a bit , like my little s800, and also trying a few car on easy race as sunday cup.

Elie wanted to do some paint job , that's why i bought all the paint to let him free to do as he wanted. He did a job on the Chiron and then drive it.

Esther on her side was not allow to drive as she still have a few holliday work for school , that she was suppose to have finish Yesterday.

Édit :
And tonight had some fun running custom race of 20 R8 Gordini on the small oval .
Trying the different setting , was fun .
