What does a car say about its driver?

That machine is too beautiful to be made fun of :(

All the respect must be given to the driver of this machine.

On a more stereotypical note:

You guys don't have to make fun of the car, there could be something positive said about it too. Look at my comment about the quattro. I said that the driver could've loved rallying and that's why he bought a rally car for the public. :)

Actually, I never heard anyone that owned a mustang to be considered that either. Every mustang owner I met at car shows never said any nonsense related. Except for that one 1969 mach one owner that thought the 1969 mustang was the best year of it.

"Everybody look at how rich and awesome I am! This baby is the king of the road, b:censored:s!"
What? What? If someone buys a Lotus Exige S, they love to drive. For the cost of an one of these, you could have an E92 M3, Audi TTRS or RS4, Corvette, or for half the price, a used Bentley C-GT.

Or X number of V6 Mustangs :sly:

It was stemming from the number of idiots I see around here who seem to think that a 5.0-liter Mustang is on par with a Bugatti Veyron, and drive them as such. I've got nothing against the older models, but the current generation seems to have spawned a small community of clueless elitists around here. Clueless elitists who have, on two separate occasions, nearly run my Civic into a ditch on the side of a country road.

O_o What?! Mustang rivalling a Veyron? I never heard things this ridiculous even on the Car Memes facebook page. You must have been to some interesting places then.

Has it been taken to the TG C**k-o-meter yet?

Southeast Michigan, out in the country. We've got a little slice of the Bible Belt here, and everyone seems to be a massive Ford fanboy.

Okay, I'm staying away from michigan. I like all mustangs, but I never compare them to those levels of cars.

Alright, I'm pulling away the Escort Cossie and choosing something else.

Describe the driver of this supercar of awesomeness!

Clearly a Saudi Sheikh who locks his machine away with the rest of his cars. Never pushed it past 100kmh.

I can see the new ones with that stereotype by most owners with the old ones dot try to pretend the car isn't something they aren't. Those old stereotypes he come from narrow minded enthusiasts and simply aren't true. Even I know the car isn't the greatest in the world, but for me, it does a pretty damn good job of summing up what I like in a car which is why I'm so hell bent over them.

Owned by a guy that likes to shout really loud and believes that power & speed solve many things.

Oh yeah, I'm supposed to post a car.

The old Mustangs are generally pretty tasteful cars, and at this point they're usually the domain of enthusiasts. It's just the culture surrounding the new ones that makes me want to peel a kitten.

Here we go with the idiotic stereotypes again...

Er, this is a 90-page thread pretty much dedicated to those. No need to get defensive just because someone posted something less than enthusiastic about the Mustang (as you did in the Exige response).

That's true. I'm done anyways :)

If you guys want to talk about a car with a bad owner base meet the 300ZX folks here in NM. God bless I have never met more pretentious hater fan boys then these guys. They consider the 300zx to be the END all of sports cars even if they have a NA version. I used to love these cars but now I hate them.
