What does a car say about its driver?

I wanted an El Camino, but couldn't find one.

I wanted a car that looked like it was pissed-off all the time.

A Mustang is fuel efficient? Are you living on a different planet to me?

The V6 Mustang (the one you posted) gets 30mpg on the highway, which in America (where 99.5% of them will be sold) is good. Especially for a car that has 300hp.

If you said that it was fuel efficient for a 300 hp car, then that would be decent, but in no way good. But, around where I live, if you drive a car that gets that sort of fuel economy, you're either very rich or skimping in a lot of other ways to make up the difference.

Even the GT is rated at 26 mpg hwy, pretty good for a car with over 400hp.

And the GT500 is rated at 24 mpg hwy and is good enough to avoid gas guzzler tax despite 662hp.

The 4.0L in the older ones had 210hp iirc. The new 3.7L V6 (2011-) makes 300hp.

Edit: After a minute of research, I found that the 3.7 makes 305hp and 280lbft and the 4.0 made 210hp and an unknown torque figure.

Well I was using Wikipedia and it just gave the horsepower figure for that engine. I looked at edmunds, and then Yahoo, and then something else and eventually found Motortrend saying it has 240lbft. Yea, not great, but neither were most American cars from the early 90s to late 00s.

For the Golf: "I wanted a small, practical car that was well made and is all around a good car that I could use for anything I need it for."
