I'm nuts about AMCs.... love those old classics! Actually, I'm a car nut in general but AMC doesn't get mentioned too much so I like to 'show the colours' as it were....

TurboProp-the propulsion system on the venerable C-130. I’ve flown on, maintained, inspected and directed maintenance on the C-130 and other aircraft for over 31 years. I love the aircraft and the sound of the turboprop.

Mine comes from the nickname of my favourite WSB/BSB rider: Chris 'The Stalker' Walker.

Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of time. He's a great bloke. A tenacious little bugger, with a really aggressive riding style. I thought the name sounded cool and have been using it since PS2 online days.

It comes from the place I live:

Colonia el Molinito

Neighborhoods are named "colonias" here in México ;)

The eg at the end is a contribution I made for the nickname :)

All my friends call me Moli BTW :)

Said Aouita is a famous Moroccan distance runner from the 80's-90's. I'm an old distance runner and a fan of Said Aouita.
Been using his name or some combination ever since my beginning of internet forums and online games.

"Born in Kenitra, Morocco, Saïd Aouita dominated middle distance running in the 1980s at all distances between 800 meters and 5000 meters. He was the only man at the time capable of running 800 m in sub 1:44, 1500 m in sub 3:30,3000 m in sub 7:30 and 5000 m sub 13:00.
Between September 1983 and September 1990 he won 115 of his 119 races

Aouita ran two world records: at first in 5000 m (13:00.40) and then in 1500 m (3:29.46). In 1987, Aouita broke Steve Cram's 2000 m world record with a time of 4:50.81. Only six days later, he broke his own world record for 5000 m, and in the process became the first man to break 13 minutes, finishing in 12:58.39."

19th letter in the alphabet is my first initial. L for London. Designate just makes it sound a little bit military/aviation-like.

Bit stupid, but reasonably easy to remember. oneninelima looks and sounds kind of interesting and enigmatic. Sort of. Probably.

It's da last armor from R&C2. Ever since the beginning of 2008, I've started using this account everywhere I go. :sly:

I’m a freak of nature, I have ten thumbs. No I’m just kidding; the truth is I can’t drive even if my life defends on it hence imallthumbs.

Star wars fanchild since i was like 5, i liked "the dark side jedi knight", then i fell in love with batman later on in the TAS days and shortened to "the dark knight". People on forums usually call me "tdk" though and when I signed up here, I had no plans on staying active so I just typed whatever the hell came to my mind first.

I hate saying this nowadays because of this craze that's been going on since Heath Ledger's death, and the obsession with the movie. Few people believe I didn't just jack the nickname from it, but here's my youtube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/mrdarkknight
Check the join date, it was before there was any talks of making the film anyway.

Also I got various saved games on PS1 memory cards with the nickname on it.

Damn, can't believe I typed all of that.

edit-

I'm hitting 21 by the way.

This is a very interesting thread. Lots of people especially this generation have develop some sort of sentimental value to their screen name including myself. I remember back in the days of AOL chatrooms when the internet was just taking off. Anyways I've been using the same screen name since.
So when I was growing up we lived in the suburbs. My parents development is called "Woodfield Estates." So my corny friends and I would refer to our development as the "Hoodfield" when in fact it was the exact opposite of being "hood". This name stuck and the only people that get it are the 6 of us that lived there when I was growing up. The best part about this name, no one else uses any variation of it. I always found it annoying to have to include numbers in a screen name. So pretty much if you ever see another HOODFIELD, on some other forum or website, its probably me too.

My name's derived from the Latin word for 'light'. It kinda started out when I was getting involved in multiplayer games for the first time, back whenAge of Empires II was around. I played that game a lot with a few friends of mine, usually at LAN parties and the like. I've never been good at coming up with nicknames (or names in general).

I came across this word by chance when I read a few pages in a latin dictionary. It kinda stuck in my head, so the next time we were playing a multi player game, I wanted to use it. 'Lumen' kinda sounded dumb, so I went with the genitive, Luminis.
And ever since, it stuck with me, I'm rarely using any other nickname on the net. It really reminds me of those good old times...

Plus, it's generally not in use wherever I want to register ;)

"A dude that likes racing" Randomly typed that and was surprised it wasn't taken yet: Simple, easy to remember, and goes with the forum. Also true as my family has a small desert racing team racing in CODE's serial.

I have a Sonic yellow WRX wagon. I use this screen name for all automotive forums and for fish forums I use GSMguy.
As in Gold Striped Maroon Clownfish, my first Clownfish.

I was born in '66 and if I could get a real car it might well be a roadster! I realised after I registered I made a boo boo with my username, and that it should be '66 Roadster! Any waty I can change this?

My username is derived from "Apricot Sakuraba", my favorite anime character.

I'm using her nickname, then followed by her surname acronym.

Scarlet devil is so hard, I like the easy ones like Perfect Cherry or Imperishable night.
Mine is from that rare Civic I keep randomly dreaming about:

Or is it some sweet dish I used to eat as a kid? Maybe it's from a song? Doesn't matter I hate my name and wish PSN allowed you to change it.
I've also got EssKayBee which are my initials but I can't be arsed to start GT all over again.

Einstein in his teens riding a tram moving slowly away from a clocktower had this thought: 'What would the world look like if I rode on a beam of light?'
Suppose this tram is moving away from the clock on the very beam with which we see what the clock says.
Then of course the clock would be frozen.
I, and the tram riding the beam of light would be fixed in time. Time would have to stop.
Simply: suppose the clock says 12.00 noon when I leave. I now travel 186,000 miles away from it at of course the 'speed of light' (photonriding). That takes me a second. But the TIME on the clock as I see it would still say 12.00 because it takes the beam of light the same as it took me to travel away.
So far as the clock as I see it, and so far as the universe inside the tram is concerned, in keeping up with the speed of light I have cut myself off from the passage of Time.
Paradox.
This makes two things clear:
There is NO universal time. . .
The experience runs differently for the one travelling (tram) to the one staying at home (clock).
And basically . . . that is the core of the Theory of Relativity.
And so . . . I travel light.

It's really quite simple actually, as a child i was really into comics and my favorite X-Man was Havok, cycolps' brother. When i started online gaming back in the soldier of fortune 2 days, i used it as my gamertag and have been ever since. So i used my gamertag for my GT Planet account :)
