Still playing Kerbal space Program and last week I went over the 6,000 hours threshold of time playing it .

Still going with Ridge Racer Type 4, I'm just about to finish unlocking all the Terazzi cars with MMM and I've done a 11-11-1111 run with RTS/Age Solo without much trouble, actually less trouble than doing the same with PRC. Still haven't tried DRT but I expect that to be really hard. I also haven't touched a single drift car, I figured I'd try to get all the grip cars out of the way first.

Edit: so I tried DRT with Age Solo, it wasn't that bad but the game decided to act as if I came 2nd/1st in the second heat so I have to do two extra GPs with that combination to unlock the right cars. Also I used all my retries on the penultimate race so it is quite tricky. I also tried drift cars (MMM/Lizard) and I really don't like drifting, I'm sure it just takes some getting used to, I guess with 14 GPs using MMM with drift cars I'll have an opportunity to get used to them though.

On a whim I also did a quick run-through of RealMyst Masterpiece Edition in an afternoon, turns out I remember it pretty well, the only things I had to remind myself of were the compass in the Stoneship age and how to solve the library fireplace because I'd deliberately not picked up any blue or red pages in any of the ages. Turns out that was dumb.

I bought Stuntman: Ignition and Midnight Club: LA during the huge Xbox backward compatible game sales. I've only tried out Stuntman: Ignition so far, and man, where has this game been in my entire life. The driving is simplistic, but it is executed really well and all the attention to detail makes it so entertaining. It's one of those high-energy game that you can't help but get carried along for a ride. An absolute steal at the price of 4 Canadian dollars.

On the Gamepass side of things, I decided to give a game called Nobody Saves the World a try. It's an indie top-down dungeon crawler that is - brace yourselves - not a roguelike. It is mechanically really simple, but it just clicks in all the right ways and ends up creating something that's really engagingly and intelligently put together. I don't want to make this post too long, so I'll just say that there's a lot to like here. And if you're kind of person who likes agonizing over characters' abilities and creating the most overpowered build there is, I'm sure you'll love this one.

Fallout 76. It’s actually decent now, they have made a lot of quality of life improvements since the last time I played.

Been playing alot of Gran Turismo 4 lately.
Still great, even now!

Currently working through Dirt 5 as it was a freebie on PS Plus last month. I think it is a fairly competent arcade racer, reminiscent of Motorstorm in some regards. Good car selection, looks pretty decent, cars sound good... but for the most part not what I want (or expect) from a Dirt title.

Turned a lot of the audio options off to try and avoid listening to that Donut media moron. Actually quite like some of the disciplines they have included (I'd love to have the oval sprint cars with Dirt Rally 2.0 handling!). Handling is a bit inconsistent though (the Atom on tarmac really stood out to me). I'll wrap up the career, but this is the only numbered Dirt title I won't be adding to my collection.

I actually have Firewatch already installed, as it was recently added to Game Pass. Should start it as soon as I finish AI: The Somnium Files.
After almost 40 hours of play, I have finished AI: The Somnium Files. And loved every second of it.
This was all the more fun to play because you can save the game easily, pretty much at any point, and also worked great through Cloud Gaming (not even a controller was needed). So, on every little spare time I had, I would grab my phone or tablet and instantly play some more.

After that, Firewatch came and go in a flash. I think I started and finished it in the same day. Very nice as well.

I've then tried Death's Door and Nobody Saves the World.

I was really disappointed with Death's Door.
I mean, it's a stylish, quality game. However, things like the lack of save points or a map rubbed me the wrong way. It's like they're forcing you a hard game and that ends up being frustrating and pretentious to my eyes.
I have too many good games to play (like Nobody Saves the World) and couldn't be bothered with this, so I've put it aside.

Just bought an LG C1 television, so I’m playing a lot of games just to admire the HDR and sharpness of the picture. GtSport, looks absolutely incredible, so can’t wait for GT7.

Doom Eternal is still insane.

F12021 on 120fps is quite something.

What have I done, I booted up Skyrim, just to see how it would look with mods…. And I am on my way to become a dragon born again😩

I got a bit bored of RRT4 so I've picked up Titan Souls on Vita (it's hard but I've just beaten the first set of bosses) and Mudrunner and CarX Drift Racing Online on PC. The latter has somehow completely replaced Forza Horizon 5 for me, didn't see that coming. Mudrunner is still great, but I'm still finding it a bit too easy. I'm tempted to pause all three games and pick them up again when I (hopefully) get my Steam Deck in Q2 because I bet they'd all be great on it.

Dusted off my ol' reliable PS3 Slim and bought a digital copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 since i long lost my CD from back in the day, and it's incredible how well it holds up to this day both graphically and gameplay wise. Truly a game ahead of it's time.

Jumped back into Generation Zero to experience the new update. Haven't seen either of the new machines yet, but the weapon wheel alone makes the installation time worth it.

I think all of the "main" Metal Gear Solid games have stood the test of time well. So many great touches in MGS4 (like all of them really) and some fantastic set pieces.

Completed Dirt 5 last night... and immediately uninstalled it.

Decided to finally give War Thunder a try: given up on Gaijin giving us a new single player game, so downloaded it last night and will give it a look over the weekend.

Mainly playing Wangan Midnight but also some Initial D: Extreme Stage thrown into the mix, both on the PS3.

I recently imported IDES to further expand my (japanese) racing game library. I found it easy to pick up albeit its very questionable arcade physics, but still, I’ve so far enjoyed the game overall. This is also one of the few occasions where I’ve actually enjoyed grinding in a game (for points; to tune and customize your car).

I’ve also returned to Wangan Midnight (another JPN import from a year ago or so) to continue progressing through the story mode. Currently working on to achieve Platinum medal for each series for each character and unlocking all cards as I’ve at last managed to find a decent walkthrough that describes the criteria for the platinum medals.

Still playing a lot of f1 2021. Onto my 3rd my team season now, the AI difficulty spikes depending on track are really starting to get to me though.

Also fired up Resident Evil 3 remake again, although this remake was a massive letdown compared to the original it does have one similar talent and thats its replayablitly.

Well, I was still playing RRT4, but in my excitement for the Steam Deck I decided to investigate switching from the Vita to PC emulation and have now ruined the Vita version for myself - I can run it at 16x native, remove a lot of the characteristic PSX polygon warping, upscale the textures, increase the load speed, remove the dither, gain 5fps (by forcing 60Hz (NTSC 29.97fps) as it's the PAL version) AND use a widescreen hack which works perfectly with the correct perspective and everything. It took me a little while to work out but I've migrated my save file so I've still got my 90-ish cars too, oh and I can savescum my way through the harder stuff with save states, I've already used that to finish the first two races flawlessly with DRT/Age Solo... So now I need to find something else to play on my Vita!

Found a very cheap copy of Forza Motorsport 2 at a secondhand shop. Less then three dollars. Hearing the intro music start was really like going back in time. This was the first Forza game I’d ever played and firing it up again for the first time in prolly a decade really brought back some good memories. The game seems so basic compared to the sequels but that’s not a bad thing when it was so enjoyable to play in the first place and still is. Really enjoying this nostalgia trip. Especially the tuner cars that all but disappeared in later games.

Hades (Xbox Series S), It's probably the only rogue-like game that I enjoy, or will ever enjoy, thanks to the God mode. Kudos to the developer for including that because every run feels rewarding.

I regret the fact that I didn't start using God Mode earlier in Hades.

I have the game on hold for a very long time now, and I'm not sure anymore I'll ever finish it.

Playing right now:

Horizon Zero Dawn & Frozen Wilds DLC : re-started playing this from the beginning yesterday after not having touched it for 4 years or so, loving it all over again! 🤩 Back in 2017 I got about 2/3rd of the base game done but then stopped playing since I enjoyed Assassin’s Creed Origins more. Want to complete this and the DLC before I start with Forbidden West.

GRID (2019) : Just fast forwarding through seasons 1, 2 & 3 before GRID Legends is released. Almost done.

Forza Horizon 5 & Hot Wheels Unleashed : playing these in “maintenance mode” which means I just do the live service stuff to get new vehicles/items and that’s it.

Playing soon:

Horizon Forbidden West : already preordered the game, will play this right after Zero Dawn & Frozen Wilds is finished
GRID Legends : Will focus a lot on this in its first release window since a week later the title below is released.
Gran Turismo 7 : Eagerly looking forward to this one!

Temporary on hold:
(these are games I started playing in the last few months but put on hold due to other games I prefer to do first)

Halo Reach : Early 2022 I wanted to start with the Halo franchise in timeline order, finished Halo Wars 1 but then got stranded halfway in Reach. Will pick this up again at some point though.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla : Finished about 3/5th of the base game, I quite enjoyed it but prefer to focus on Horizon first. Will pick this up again after Horizon. Didn’t get Dawn of Ragnarok since I already own Siege of Paris and Wrath of the Druids and haven’t even touched those either.
Far Cry 6 : About 1/3rd of the base game finished, DLCs not even touched. Well, eventually I will continue it I guess. No priority now.

Halo Infinite - not so great. Storyline is too much connected to Wars, which isnt my cup of tea. Gameplay is more of classic Halo. Personally, I think H4 and H5 were highpoint of series.

Hitman Trilogy - almost perfect Hitman game. Progression could be better (like Bloodmoney), but everything else is great.

Control - worst Remedy game. 7/10

ME:Shadow of war - outdated by today standards, but still good Assassin's creed clone.

I really enjoyed Control, get brutally hard towards the end though.

Currently playing: ACC PS5 update
Soon to be playing: GT7

Between these 2 games, the drive to survive series on Netflix and the similar moto gp series on prime I many have to quit my job and having friends lol

90% of the time I play GT SPORT, F1 2020. Occasionally play Madden 18, Madden 25, Rugby 20, Maximum Football 2019.
Gran Turismo 7 is on order.

I'm now pretty much done with Wangan Midnight. Platinum'ed every series and unlocked everything but two tuning cards that require a certain level in online multiplayer, which is as dead as it can get. Had an absolute blast with this game and a decent substitute if you don't have an XBOX 360 and Import Tuner Challenge.

For now, I've put Initial D:Extreme Stage on hold as I'm waiting for my newest addition to my collection of japanese racing games.

Thanks to a hefty bonus from work, I (probably) spent an obscene amount of money on getting both Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 imported from the US as well a fully modified/region free PS2 from the UK. I couldn't care less though as I've been wanting to get my hands on this game since forever. I'm aware of the possibility of emulating but I just never had a good enough PC nor do I care about PC gaming enough to justify such purchase. Crossing my fingers that it all works and goes well or else you'd have to bring a salt mine to my front door :D

If the above works as intended, D1GP is next on my gaming bucket list.

I really enjoyed Control, get brutally hard towards the end though.
TPS isn't my thing and I am not a fan of story. Yet Max Payne and Quantum Break both has great stories. Alan Wake is ok and has some interesting gameplay concepts.

I completed Quake 3 Arena last night. This game was a direct challenger to the award-winning "Unreal Tournament." Q3 Arena was pretty cool, but I personally don't see it better than Unreal Tournament. UT was so much more in-depth and more fun. That isn't to say, however, that Q3 Arena is a waste of money. I primarily picked up Q3 Arena to play the "Quake 3 Rally" mod. The final boss battle against Xaero was pretty tough. I heard of how brutal he can be when fought against in Nightmare difficulty. Only a few times have I cleared a stage on the 2nd difficulty level. I have no clears on level 3 difficulty or higher (including the hardest- "Nightmare"). Maybe I'll try the tougher difficulties in future plays.

I might return to "Stardew Valley," "Half-Life," or even begin playing "Metal Gear Solid 1" next.
