What games are you playing now?

I started back in Spiderman Remastered. Also playing through Damascur Gear: Operation Tokyo, PC2/3. I also bought ACC and I have just doing some hot laps while waiting for the next gen update

I finished Fez once and started NG+ because I'm intrigued by the overarching puzzle, but it's quite a clunky game to navigate and I can't really make the notes I'd need to make while I play to solve it so I've shelved it for now, it's a fun game though and will go back to it, maybe.

I've since moved on to The Swapper, which I remember was warmly received and promptly forgotten shortly after, but it's a good game. Admittedly pickings are both slim and a few years old when it comes to the Vita but good games are good games no matter how well remembered they are.

Edit: just finished The Swapper, it's certainly not a very long game! I must admit the plot twist was kind of underwhelming too but it was fun. I'm not sure what to start next, there's quite a long list of things but none are especially appealing because I've tried all of them and failed to stick with them for whatever reason.

Four odd months after buying it .Finally decided to jump into Dark Souls III. I'm taking it really slow. Put close to ten and half hours into so far and I've only got two bosses done. 😂 Do plan on getting back into Bloodborne at some point but I have to say that, I think I prefer DSIII just a little bit more.
Well, after playing DS3 on and off over the past six odd months. Finally finished it today. Ended up summoning randoms to help me with the last two bosses, just because they were both pains in the rear. I probably should go back to Bloodborne at some point, now that I've ticked this one off the list. We'll see.

Playing “the last of us part 2“ now finally.
It’s every bit as good as people have been saying.
Every play session leaves me impressed. This game is so well crafted on every level including writing and acting it makes some movies look stale by comparison!

I finished blood borne over a period of 12 mths because of some crushing difficulty spikes. I came from having finished Dark souls, the original not a sequel.
Just wanted to say the game feels refreshingly different to a souls game because of different combat mechanics so it may be worth your time playing it. It was worth it for me.

I've gotten as far as beating Rom in Bloodborne. Liked the game well enough. Think the problem was that I went straight into it from DS Remastered and I just got burnt out playing that style of game.

Probably will end up doing with it what I did with DS3 and just play it on and off and see how far I can get. It is bugging me a little that I stopped playing it.

Motorsport Manager on PC with the Fire Fantasy 21 mod. Can’t wait for the 2022 version of the mod, it’s the only reason why I come back to this game.

In this playthrough I’m TP for Honda Racing in F1. My main drivers atm are Charles Leclerc and Naoki Yamamoto.

Charles has been really good but Naoki is getting old and joined a cult, later becoming it’s leader. So his stats have dropped dramatically and he finishes at the back every race, but it’s too expensive to fire and replace him.

Meanwhile my reserve driver is getting in trouble for getting into bar fights, she is 13.

GG

Trying to make the most of what's left of my $1 Xbox Game Pass for PC trial before it ends this month.

- Crackdown 3 (Certainly hasn't caught up with modern games, but there's still some mindless fun to be had)

- Dirt 5 (Could care less for the Donut Media association, but enjoying the driving. Just not a fan of the rubberband-ish AI)

- Wolfenstein: Youngblood (Fairly fun gunplay, but characters that try to be silly that end up more grating to the ears. Not a fan of an action shooting being way too RPG like)

- Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Feels a bit like World War Z with the Aliens franchise, janky yet fun)

- Halo Infinite (Finished the campaign, but finding it rather fun doing bot matches.)

- Back 4 Blood (Despite not really enjoying the game itself in some ways, I actually weirdly enjoy the gunplay)

Otherwise, been sticking to the PC and haven't really touched my consoles in a while.

- World War Z (Just got the Aftermath expansion for free with Amazon Prime, still enjoying it)

- Beamng (Always fun, yet relaxing to come back to)

Well finally finished Witcher 3 second play through but this time with both expansions. It’s such a fantastic game and now can’t wait to see what the PS5 upgrade brings to the table and then I could be tempted to do a 3rd play through.

Today I started “The Touryst” & will be side playing “Ghost Of Tsushima - Directors Cut” on PS5.

So far The Touryst has been enjoyable and the introduction island was really charming. I’m not expecting a huge game but it still looks awesome and quite amazing it’s the first 8K game technically.

Ride 4

Rim Racing a little disappointed that i bought a so call ultimate edition but it doesn't include every dlc pack? why is it even call Ultimate edition for.

Moto GP 19 - I know its old but it was only 5 bucks on psn haha :D

Been considering doing a third playthough of RDR2 for a little while now and I haven't been the best mood the past couple of days, so I thought screw it and decided to finally do it. Rushed thru the first chapter but I'm planning on taking it real slow.

And a little bit of Bloodborne as well. Jumped back in a few nights ago, just to try and get some muscle memory back and figure out how everything worked again. Coming straight from DS3, the combat is going to take some serious getting used to. I've got to practice it more.

I think I need to play this.

Playing battlefront II as it was about a fiver in the store, quite enjoying it, som good battles and who wouldn’t want to fly star wars crafts or wield a light sabre
Rocket league still pulls me back for a fun matchup

Picked up Art of Rally cheap over Christmas. Took a bit of fiddling to get the settings right, but really enjoying it now.

Most of my gaming time in the last fortnight has been taken up by Last of Us 2. I had read some negative comments before playing (and I had a rough idea of the story), so perhaps my expectations were dialled down a little, but I am blown away with how good it is: especially the gameplay.

Fantastic story telling, maybe not as "happy" (for want of a better word) as the first game, but a believable continuation of the storyline.
The Last Of Us 2 is a masterpiece, also loved the first one and never thought it could be bettered but WOW, probably in my top 3 games I’ve ever played in my life

Think you are the first person I've seen prefer the sequel instead of the original.

Still an absolutely amazing game but the story from the original will never be beaten in my opinion.

Too hard to separate them to be honest, both are simply stunning but maybe the fact that the song Joel teaches Ellie is a Pearl Jam track may have swayed my opinion 😂 but yeah..they are both unbelievable stories to play through, never felt such empathy towards a video game character in all my years

I finished Firewatch and Forgotten City. I really liked how Firewatch's story paced itself and slowly built up the tension, but honestly even the simple walks around the wood and chatting through walkie talkie had me hooked already.

As for Forgotten City, I encountered some bugs here and there, but it really has some neat surprises and crazy stuffs that kept me hooked until the end. Both Firewatch and Forgotten City are on Gamepass, so if you have it, highly recommended.

After that, I quickly settled into the routine of Forza Horizon 5/Ride 4/Hitman 3, but then I decided to go a little crazy and threw Wreckfest on top of it as well. Also from Gamepass. Any game that starts off with lawnmower demolition derby is sure to be something special, so I'm really looking forward to playing it some more.

Thought id have a look for Firewatch, after checking the reviews, seems no one is selling it second hand, only find it in the PS store, strange.

Not that strange, as the game is basically digital-only (although a limited run of some physical copies was made).

I actually have Firewatch already installed, as it was recently added to Game Pass. Should start it as soon as I finish AI: The Somnium Files.

Every six years or so (on average) since its release I get this foolish notion that if only I focus a little harder than the last time, I might finally get good enough to beat Ridge Racer Type 4 with the hardest team.

Every time I prove myself wrong by making some seriously stupid mistakes like colliding with the same car over and over again because I'm too dumb to go around it, or turning in so early that I crash into the inside of a turn, over and over again... I decided tonight to try a 11-11-1111 run with the Peoples' Repub -- uh, Pac Racing Club, aka the second easiest difficulty, and still failed three races which somehow included the last race which doesn't even require braking.

Radiohead’s Kid Amnesiac. My God what an incredible piece of art! It’s a interactive surreal musical museum art gallery. It is so cool and intuitive. I haven’t it all (no pun intended) but what I have seen so far blew my mind!

I think I still prefer the first game... but there isn't much in it. The forthcoming TV series has a LOT to live up to!

Been playing Yugioh Master Duel.

Figured it was going to be the most money grubbing Free-to-play game. Given it was from Konami and I only got it for single player mode. The gacha system also felt very money grubbing

I'm surprised how generous the crafting system is. You also get a lot of Gems in the early game, if you play your Gems smart and Craft smart you can build 2 pretty good decks without dropping a single dollar before the Gems become a lot more scarce. In fact I might be able to build a 3rd Deck after a bit.

I enjoy Solo mode the most, going through the lore of the cards, World Legacy storyline is definitely the best even if it ends after the first half, I expect the second half will come later. I love the Dinomist storyline, it's not only my favourite Deck but the storyline is styled like a Documentary, it's beautiful.

Half-Life was a game I have played before, but it was "Half-Life: Blue Shift" or some other Half-Life whose name fails me. Last night, though, I played the original Half-Life. I was immediately thrown into what the original award-winning game had to offer as I played it. Four-to-five hours later (including my PC crashing), I put in a lot of game play hours into the first Half-Life. Suffice to say, the Half-Life series is so revered and loved for a reason. It was one of a number of games I bought on Steam as part of a big sale.

I actually bought the Valve Bundle or Half-Life Bundle, which means I also got Half-Life 2. Because I feel i need to play through Half-Life 1 before taking on Half-Life 2, I will hold off of any judgment on HL2 until I get through HL1. I have some idea of HL2 as someone who bought "Garry's Mod" many moons ago.

The more I play the original Half-Life, the more I admire it as one of the best games ever made. I had to great creative at points to try to clear certain obstacles and puzzles. I honestly don't get too frustrated. Though, I did gain some hints when I skimmed through a walkthrough video of Half-Life. I think the chapter I am on now is called "Residue Processing."

[CONFIRMATION] When I mentioned proper Half-Life and Blue Shift, I can now confirm the other Half-Life game I sort of played was "Half-Life: Opposing Force."
