PC: Skyrim Special Edition with the MasterStroke modpack, Oldschool Runescape and Ragnarock.
PS5: GT7, Spiderman Miles Morales and Stray.

Skyrim... Well more specifically the Creation Kit. I am creating a massive mod for the game where madgod Sheogorath invades the Dragonborn's dream. It is a slow working project, but it should be something worthwhile in the distant future.

Just finished playing F.I.S.T

It was my first time a playing a Metroidvania game and if this is like your typical Metroidvania, I quite like it. Getting new abilities and going back to an old area to find new places to explore is very enjoyable. It's why I liked Sonic Colours and 3DS Lost World Wisps for similar reasons.

Despite the game being named F.I.S.T and Rayton signature weapon being a giant fist, once I unlocked the Drill, I stopped using the fist unless I was forced to, the Drill had a lot more manoeuvrability and was a lot more enjoyable to use in combat, and then Electric Whip is useful when having to deal with far away combat.

The levels despite being contained to 1 area mostly, Torch City were still quite unique with a clear identity. I was playing the Switch version so there was light fog which did ruin the atmosphere unless you lower the brightness, however the PS5 and PC versions don't have this problem. However, Ancient Complex can die a gruesome death for all I care, what a cruel prank to combine a Puzzle segment with an Escort segment.

Story is ok, nothing too noteworthy though I do like Urso as a character. Cicero is underutilised as a villain admittedly as you see him, get introduced to him as Rayton former war buddy and then never see him again until the climax without too much build up.

Finally picked up Ghost of Tsushima (and Red Dead Redemption 2 as it was cheap, but I have opted to play GoT first!).

Couple of hours in and loving it so far. Looks astonishing. Was intending to play it through in Japanese with subtitles, but keep getting distracted by other things on screen so I have reverted to English language for now.

Been wanting to try tsushima for a while, but since sony took off the base game for only the special edition on the store, it stays at a high price, so no dice.

I picked up Dinkum the other night and it's fantastic. It's like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley rolled into one game.

I'm an old fart and still don't like buying digital!

Got the Directors Cut edition on ebay for £20.

I bought the original game off of gamefly when I 1st got my PS5 and I keep waiting for the DC upgrade price to drop to $10 because I refuse to pay $20 for DC then another $10 for the PS5 upgrade. I might just end buying the DC off of ebay or gamefly.
Right now I am playing Dynasty Warriors 9, Avengers, GT7, AC, PC2.PC3 & WWE2k 22

I ended up quite enjoying Death and Taxes, I don't really get how to make choices that affect the outcome but I could see myself going back to it every now and then for a quick playthrough (a playthrough probably takes maybe 1h45)

Since then I've finally gone back to Car Mechanic Sim 2018, which for reasons was one of three games I've ever preordered (the other two being New Vegas and Borderlands 2), but launched in such a rough state I struggled to play around all the bugs. It's all good now though and plays excellently on the Deck, a few minor control bugs aside.

I've also continued playing art of rally, because I needed something a bit more straightforward to play on the train (and something that presented good opportunities to stop playing, CMS18 just sucks me in because I'm addicted to fixing things IRL so being given unlimited things to fix is just dangerous for my free time), that's an excellent game too. Not easy though!

Still mesmerised by Microsoft Flight Simulator ( currently at quite a few hours played😇) play mostly in VR now and it’s by far the most intense and astonishing experience in my 40 odd years of gaming, the amount of stunning military jets available is growing rapidly but still fly the F-15 more than any other..a flight from Mexico city to Las Vegas last night and arriving in Vegas just as the sun was setting in the F-15 was practically orgasm inducing 😍

52 days!!!

Having platinumed everything in Wangan Midnight (PS3), done everything Import Tuner Challenge (X360) had to offer and done pretty much the same for TXR3 (with the exception of some of the remaining Wanderers) I realized that I’ve had Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero for years but never really gave it an honest chance. So that’s what I am currently doing.

The component cable I bought for getting the best IQ out of TXR3 also helps transforming TXR0 alot, especially since it’s one of the earlier PS2 games.

TXR0 should hold me over and then some until RB:C1GP is delivered.

If you assume you slept for 8 hours each day, that makes it 78 days 😂

That's only 10.9% of the days since the game released, though.

Or, to frame it in a slightly more alarming way, that's 2 hours and 40 minutes-ish of play every single day since 18/8/2020.

Frankly I'm just glad Steam doesn't tell you how many hours you've played across all of the games in your library.

Downloaded Tony Hawk's Pro skater 1 and 2. You guys should try it, it tests your skateboarding skills with other players on real live parks.
Yes me too! This game is awesome. Played it till my fingers bled when the original was released on the psone.

I know it's an addicting game, I actually had the ps2 version of this games years back or there was a similar game, fun cause you get to choose the parks you want to skate at and trying to do tricks to get the highest score! What a blast from the past!

Need to download this as I saw it was a freebie this month.

Played both of these games to death back in the day!

I felt like revisiting the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, so I broke out my PS2 and I’ve been playing Zero for the past few weeks. I’ll play 3 and Drift 2 afterwards.

Tried Tony hawk 1 & 2 and i can 100% confirm my skill on a dpad is non existent these days, cant seem to get on well playing this with the analog stick so these games are better left in my nostalgia bubble.

Also started yakuza like a dragon, hated the first few hours as its so cut scence heave but 9 hours in and loving it now. My first time playing a yakuza game.

Im back to ride3, got the hang of helmet view much better now, street type circuits like macau, ulster, southern 100 etc that i always had a hard time to not hit out of bounds, now i can just focus on bettering my line. Pretty cool.

And went back also to some motogp19, 500cc 2stroke historic bike. What a great feel game for me, you can slide it just enough, heating up the tires too much on throttle or braking.

Plus the helmet/rider view is really good, no swaying under you, your view shifts to the side and the bike stays on it's line.

I like how you look back in that view too, swiveling back, and how the view goes to the side of the fairing a little when wheeling.

And when an a.i. hits you from the bike you feel a bump and hear a thump, but dont fall off automatically.

Plus the ai is much better than in r3.
And you got all historic bikes, challenges, pretty cool.
Makes me anxious to get and try ride4 which is supposed to be closer to this game in feel a little.

Played a little survival games too, Darkwood and Subterrain. Two too down not so fancy graphically, indie games, but well done and intriguing, with good audio, and interactivity.

Starting to slow down on CMS18 - there's only so many times you can remove a bunch of parts from a car, add the bad ones to a shopping list, go and buy new parts (because for whatever reason you can't even try to repair most of them yourself) then fit them again - so I have, for some reason, picked up Sonic Adventure.

I used to love it on Dreamcast but it's pretty shocking how far games have come since then. The animation and voice acting in cutscenes makes it feel like a bad mod of a better game and the controls, camera, boss fights, etc. are beyond tragic. So far I've done 40% of Sonic's story and finished Tails' story last night, I don't think I ever 100%'d it back in the day so I think I'll stick with it until I either finish it or give up through sheer frustration. I do like how utterly insane and illogical the plot and flow of the game is, though, for example: after finishing the Casino Zone level a random ice stone descends from the sky and lands in a back alley right around the corner, so you pick it up and go to Mystic Ruins where a cliff just sort of cracks open and collapses the moment you arrive, opening the route to the lock the ice stone opens. Convenient!

Other than that I'm still chipping away at art of rally during my morning commute and lunch breaks, that's still a great game.

After years of procrastinating, I finally bought a PC.

Currently playing Halo Infinite, I’m thinking of buying Escape from Tarkov too. I also plan on trying iRacing for the first time tonight 😬

So what brand did you buy. We have always dealt with Dell desktops and laptops. We had a desktop we bought at Best buy from Dell that lasted about 8 years. That's almost a decade!

I went with an ABS pre built which is Newegg’s brand. It was on sale for a little under $2000 cad with taxes and shipping.

Everybody seems to hate pre builts but this is my first real gaming PC, I wasn’t up for building one because I know nothing about it. The price difference between the pre built and buying everything individually was around $150, so I wouldn’t be saving much money anyway. But I will definitely upgrade this one in the future then build my own eventually when I gain more experience.

I ordered it at around noon on Thursday and got it almost exactly 24 hours later. Not bad for a 700km trip to a rural town!

I also got this monitor to go with it.
